This place is so good! Food is great and service excellent as well. I would highly recommend the house salad and filet mignon.

I was excited to try this place as I love this type of food. Upon walking in I was very skeptical but decided to give it a chance before forming an opinion. The decor of the place is so outdated that being there made me feel uncomfortable. It was antique, and not in a good way. When we walked in, they had no customers, yet two tables were still full of unfinished food from previous customers, and we were seated right next to these tables. Nevertheless, we pushed though and ordered. For an appetizer, they brought out some cold flatbread, frozen butter and raw onion. Saying that this bread was like cardboard would be high praise. We didn't even touch it. A few minutes later, our waiter dropped a glass as he was cleaning and it shattered. It took him over 15 minutes to address it and clean it up. He actually made another waitress help him clean it up. How pathetic, be a man and take responsibility. Anyway, we ordered some chicken and beef Koobideh. The beef tasted like beef and it lacked good flavor. The chicken was tolerable. The rice to meat ratio was ridiculous. Each plate cost nearly $15+ and it was filled with their cheapest ingredient: rice. The waiter was very rude when I asked if they had any sort of condiments or sauces. They charge for everything. Their food sucked. The service staff is the worse I've ever encountered, simply rude and careless. I've learned my lesson. I will NEVER return to this place. Just a few minutes down the road you'll find similar food that tastes much better, cost much less, and provide way better service. Most of the positive reviews are based off their night service I assume, and with the entertainment at night, I'm sure the bad food and service are overlooked. Save yourselves from this place. The owners should be ashamed at how horrible their staff runs this promising place. read more

Best kabobs I've ever had by far. Friendly and attentive staff, nice ambiance, and tvs outside makes the place my go to spot.

We go here about 20 times a year. The food and service are fantastic. We even cater from here for our christmas party.

Kabob Hutt catered a party we had at our house last weekend. The manager, Robert, was professional all the way. My husband and I went in to dine and sample the food 1 week beforehand, and Robert allowed us to taste all the appetizers and even different kinds of chicken to decide what our ultimate menu would have. On the day of our event, Robert showed up, ON TIME, the order was EXACTLY AS WE ASKED, and everything was set up and delivered on warmers and platters for no extra charge. The prices were comparable to other Persian restaurants we frequent in Orange County-- reasonably priced in my opinion and generous portions. We got many compliments on the food and my guests were even asking for sample brochures to use for their own catering needs. All in all, this was a great experience, Robert is a fantastic representative for this restaurant, the service was great, the food was awesome, the dealings were honest and fair, and everything was perfect. On a side note: we've lived in Corona for 2 years now and never stepped foot into this place cause we were initially turned off by the location. I only wish we had gone in sooner, cause it is very nice on the inside and the food is great! So don't be deterred by the location. read more

Why would anyone go here when there is something 100 times better just down the street? Food is awful, lacks flavor and freshness compared to the other place just down the street. Didn't have salmon on a Friday night, got white fish tasted extremely fishy/spoilt..could not even eat it, sent it back. Lamb did not have lamb flavor whatsoever, tasted artificial. Boneless Chicken had a very nasty after taste. Borani had no fresh eggplant flavor to it, was very pasty. Even the butter they gave tasted off. Will never return. read more

Must be under new management or owner. Prices are higher .they wanted to charge me for sumac. We got 4 meals and received 1 pack of sumac. They wanted us to share one pack. I'm suprised they didn't expect us to share forks. Very disappointed. I used to love this place and recommend this place to at least 10 of my customers a month. Came here a couple of months ago and the food was better than average for the area. The girl at the window warned it would take about 15 min. That's fine with us for fresh food. Tried it out again when my husband sent me here to pick up his lunch. Waited 5 min at the menu sign. No one answered. Waited at the window 5 more minutes, finally the same girl I made eye contact with a couple minutes before asked if I had ordered. Uh no... Told her I just want a couple of a la carte items. She gives me a price of about $5 each, ordered 4 things. ---$37 please? Uhhh??? Delete one thing that she gave the wrong price for. Signing my receipt I confirm the order. Oops! She forgot to add something. Goodie. 20 min later still waiting here. This will be my second and last trip to Kabob Hutt. read more

We go here often and were there last night, it's a family place and is always good but they are always very very slow, never enough staff. Music is nice but very loud. I think we are not going to go as often anymore more. read more

The food gets Five stars, the service gets One star. Their hummus is the best, as is their Chicken tender wrap. My wife gets the chicken kebab plate and loves it. I have been driving past this place since it opened and never once thought about eating there. Until tonight I had never eating at a Persian restaurant. I have to say I really enjoyed our experience, I now wish I had gone there sooner! The staff was very friendly and eager to explain any questions regarding the menu. I have read several reviews here stating the wait time for food was unreasonable but I found it to be completely reasonable. If you go here with the understanding that it isn't pre-made fast food, I think you will agree. The food was great (I had the chicken barg)and the atmosphere was fun. They even had live music and I understand there are dancers at 8:30 on the weekends. We will definitely be returning! read more

Just did a catering order this Sunday for 50 people for my sons 1st birthday. Order and food went off without a hitch! The food was sooooo good and fresh. We eat there on a regular basis also and it's always superb. I love the house salad add chicken! And Lobia polo. They are super affordable too. The only complaint I can make about them is they no longer serve the kabob burger after 4pm and it's the only thing my oldest daughter likes so it's a waste of money to take her for dinner now because she only takes a couple bites of her food. Review is on their customer service. I would've given it one star, but their food is actually pretty tasty, especially their House salad with the house dressing and the juicy chicken kabob bowl. However, they have terrible customer service. I have called in orders or placed online orders in the past multiple times and they have messed it up almost every time, either forgetting to give us salad dressing, giving the wrong salad dressing, or giving us a completely different salad than ordered. Also, in my most recent encounter with them, I tried placing an order online because for some odd reason online orders for them are a lot less expensive (ie. the grilled salmon salad ordered online is $7.99 but if you call it in for pick up, the same salad costs $14.99), but their website to order online doesn't even work! I tried asking them if they would honor the ordering online price since their site is down, but they refused. They need to fix their online ordering site or make the prices consistent and fair. Because of this, I will not be ordering food from them in the future and will tell my co-workers and friends to not order from there as well. read more

Never having Persian food before, I didn't know what to expect. And what I got was a very good meal. The chicken and beef kabobs where good and tender, which came with ample amounts of tomatoes and onions on the stick. The services were friendly and prompt, though it wasn't that busy on this particular Friday night. There was a 2-man band playing Persian music, I assume and also there was a "family friendly" belly dancer who encourages the patrons to try to dance like her. Look forward to going back. read more

I have been craving dolemeh all day and had no idea I would run into this place accidentally while getting a collision estimate around the corner. I could have missed it in between the buildings where it's located. I went through the drive through where you literally order at the window you wait for your food at and that was very convenient after a long day at work. The young man working the window was extra cute and friendly. He was very thorough at taking my order to be sure he gave me everything I needed. The dolemeh was good. I've only had it at one other place and it came with a little chunk of onion which really sets it off. I am not knowing that I should've requested that and a little piece of bread. My fault, not his. Had to try this place upon recommendation. The location was a little strange, stuck in a secluded parking lot. We were a little hesitant cause it was empty but decided to see what the fuss was about. Our server was awesome! Very attentive and quick. I ordered the beef kobideh lunch plate and the bf ordered the filet mignon plate. We both cleaned our dishes to say the least. We really were satisfied with our lunch and will def be coming back. Also the prices were reasonable! read more

Four stars, absolutely for the food! Everything we had was delicious- and my husband is Persian so I've had good Persian food before. The service left much to be desired but we read reviews before hand and were expecting that. I came here with friends, tables dirty with servers standing around. Ok fine, no big deal....time to order. I chose beef koobideh wrap 8.99 ok can't have it, it's lunch menu. ..my bad, it's understandable. I need min to find something else, I make sure it's not a happy hour special or anything and choose beef koobideh dinner with only single beef koobideh with rice and roasted tomatoes. ...oh I don't eat rice, please substitute rice with any simple salad. Apparently they charge for that(9.29 meal now becomes 15$+ meal)...ridiculous rules, this is supposed to be fine dining??? I have never tried Persian/Iranian food before and I am glad I did. After reading the reviews from Yelp, my family decided to try this place out since we not in the mood to drive to LA. or Orange County. This restaurant was not hard to find. I like the Mediterranean decor. The servers were very nice and attentive. We came on a Friday night since we heard that there was belly dancng on the weeknend. The dancer was very good too. So, let's get to the food. It took us time to order since we had to read each item that was totally foreign to us. They first gave us pieces of pita bread with onion & butter. I didn't care much for it. Then we ordered the maust moosier as our appetizer (cucumber with yougurt & mint). Hubby liked it but not me. For the main course, we ordered the lamb chops with bone, shih kabob filet mignon & chicken koobideh double skewer and to our surprise, the food was outstanding and so good. Each dish was served in a big oval plate with white basmati rice. I liked the lamb chops the best- the meat was so tender. And for dessert, we ordered their special ice cream with pistacio nuts & rosemary flavor. My son said that it taste like eating icecream mixed with some perfume. Well, this cuisine was all new to us but we were glad inspite of the differences, we enjoyed the kabobs & liked the free entertainment. We tipped the belly dancer good too. read more

This was my first time trying Persian food and man..That was good!!!!! The order of Sultana was very tasty with pieces of filet mignon and beef. The salads were very fresh and flavorful. It's interesting how Persian food has a great mix of fresh tasting salads but also a hearty dinner loaded with beef, chicken and lamb. I like just about all their kabobs here, from the chicken to the beef. I go here when I do not feel like driving to OC. It is priced okay for Persian food. I could get it less elsewhere but I would have to drive further. The wait is longer than other Persian places that I get food at so I compensate by calling in the order. I came to eat at this place for valentines. I remember this place being the green burrito back in the day but after that no other business has survived this location. I must say that they are making it happen. The portions are a good size. The atmosphere was bistro like with mediterainian decor. Our waitress was very knowlegable and answered all my questions about diffrent entres and what they taste like.
