Kabobi is located on the right side of the Crabtree mall food court. They have a good variety of middle eastern dishes. I tried the chicken and had tabouli with it and some good sweet tea. I love the flavor and tenderness of the chicken, but would not get the tabouli again, it was just ok. I am not a fan of eating in a food court, as it is somewhat noisy and sometimes dirty tables, but it was worth it for the good chicken. Very nice people there, good prices and fast service. I will return!!

I enjoyed my meal at Kabobi today. I'm thankful that they are in the food court for those who are following a special diet or Halal. With so many fried and overly processed foods in abundance, you can rely on Kabobi for a affordable wholesome meal. The reason many people choose unhealthy food, is because of the cheaper price, however, you will pay in poor health. I enjoyed the customer service from the manager. He discussed the vegetarian options with me. I decided on the chick peas, spinach and lentil Biriyani rice. Biriyani is a long grain rice that is very delicious with the lentils added. My daughter really enjoyed this on my plate and ate all of it. You must try it. I also tried the Tabbouleh and enjoyed that with my meal. Everything was cooked just right and I was very satisfied. Thank you Kabobi. I will try the falafel and lamb kabob next time.

I'm not the big connoisseur of mall food and I usually steer away from it. However, I grabbed lunch at Kabobi last week and it was really good! I'm a bit of a fan of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food which, at times, is hard to come by in Raleigh. But that's changing thankfully. This place is set up like a lunch counter. I went with the Kabobi sampler. The meats were well seasoned. The steak bites were a little overdone but I imagine they cook it well because most people like it that way. It was fine. The vegetables and salad were fresh. And, the service was friendly. I'll definitely be back when I'm at the Crabtree Valley Mall.

Really good collection of Kababs. Amazing taste and fast service. What more do you want? Halal.

The hummus, stuffed grape leaves and baklava were good. However, the spicy chicken kabobi did not even taste like meat. It was really bad and was thrown away. The tzatziki sauce was very runny and tasted off. It was not a good deal for the money and left me very disappointed. I will not be going back.

Really good and fresh, especially for mall food court! The kebabs are also very juicy and flavorful. I had the beef kebab wrap---- veggies make it pop---- and the sweet rice (oddly good too!). My hubby got the 2 kebab special w the lentil rice (very tasty). This is a fantastic option for a food court. Very friendly staff w masks, gloves, and sanitizer.

Delicious Mediterranean food. The lamb and chicken kabobs were amazing. My first time eating there and would like to visit again.

This is a Chicken Kabob Platter with Okra, Chickpeas & Green Beans, and some very strange bread.

We found it interesting that the food court at Crabtree Valley Mall would have two such similar spots as Kabobi and Hector's. It gave us a chance to have a head to head eat off between the two - at least on several items - or 4, really. The Chicken Kabob was one item - and the kabob here is good, just not as good as Hector's. There was no nice grill exterior crust on the chicken, and there was a yellow tint to the meat, but no supporting flavor aspect - Turmeric? The Grape Leaves were also a strong tilt to Hector's. The ones here had a nice mint taste, but the texture was soft and mushy. The "bread" here was thin, hard, and tasteless - like hardtack - not really sure what it was, but I didn't care for it, and no way you could ever wrap it around anything. The Tzatziki was a closer contest, but though neither was stellar, Hector's was a little thicker, a little more flavorful. The sides here , Okra (steamed or braised) was not memorable, and the other, Chickpeas & Green Beans, was at best an interesting set of items, but no less bland for the uniqueness of the combination. Game. Set, Match - Hector's. .

Seriously so good! My husband and I are incredibly shocked that there's such good food at a mall food court. We got the lamb kabob for lunch and liked it so much that we went back for the lamb shank and curry chicken for dinner. For sides, we had the raisin rice, the chickpeas, and the cucumber salad and everything was delicious! Real food that is home cooked with no MSGs or other fake ingredients. The pricing is super reasonable and the owners are so sweet. Highly, highly recommend!!

Stayed at the Marriott and walked over. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was for being a food court restaurant. Great food!

Tasteful, filling, quick and the service is great. I always stop in here when I go to Crabtree. They have some of the best Lebanese food I've ever had! Get the chicken kabob with sweet rice and Greek salad.

Sultani Kabab platter with koobideh and spicy chicken kabab
    Taohid L.

I had the sultani kabab platter which includes, rice, onions, grilled tomato, koobideh and chicken or beef kabab. The koobideh was a delicious package of delicious minced lamb. I tried both spicy chicken (minced chicken Kabab) and chicken Kabab (succulent pieces of tender chicken) and I would the latter over the former. This is probably the best place for food in the Crabtree Valley Mall.

The whipped feta was my favorite, topped with strawberry jam and absolutely delicious. We ended up ordering an extra basket of bread ($7.50) because we ran out quickly. The bulgur salad was hands down the best thing I ate all night. I'll return for that alone and will probably order a second one to-go for lunch the next day. It had some kind of crunchy element that made the texture incredible. For our main, we had the short rib. The flavors were excellent and I can see why it's so highly reviewed. That said, at $48, I'm not sure the portion size justified the price. We each had two relatively small pieces and some vegetables. Drink-wise, I ordered the espresso martini ($18). It was a fantastic espresso martini, one of the better ones I've had, but again, the size made the price feel a little steep. My spouse ordered the Old Fashioned, which was also excellent and came with a nice orange twist. The restaurant itself is very cute inside with great décor and interesting seating areas. The back patio is beautiful, and according to owner Paul (who was incredibly friendly), they're opening a boat bar and outdoor kitchen, which sounds like it will make the space even better! The only reason I didn't rate the ambiance higher was that it felt a little warm inside during our visit. However, it sounded like they were dealing with a power-related issue, and with the unusually hot weather we've been having, I suspect the older building was having a hard time keeping up. It wouldn't keep me from returning, but I'd probably wait until the fall just in case. I worry as it gets hotter this summer it may always be a little warm. Our total for two people, an appetizer, salad, entrée, and two alcoholic drinks, was about $140 including tax, plus a 3% credit card surcharge (before tip). I'll definitely be back for the bulgur salad and to check out the outdoor space this fall! A boat bar sounds so cool! Parking: Street parking, a small side lot, or neighboring business lots after 5 PM!

We dined at their lovely bar back in the first months of their opening, and it was good. We had met the general manager, Red, and were impressed with the flavors of our one appetizer, Calabrian Chicken, yet we never rushed back. Now, we feel compelled to return ASAP to enjoy these exceptional flavors, fabulous teamwork system of service, and a comfortable chic atmosphere. The place was happening at 5:45 pm on our recent dining night out with friends. Grateful to have a reservation we were seated at a very comfortable banquette type of seating. It felt like dining in a friend's home. Our server, William, is excellent at his job. Very efficient, great input on food choices, and quite personable. The meal started off with a burst of flavor as we enjoyed their fairly new offering of a ceviche called Eye of the Tiger that featured a sauce you can never get enough of. Wish their bread service was a bit more inspired, but the Le Farm bread did soak up some of the various sauces sent out from a very inspired kitchen team. Food runners help make certain the tapas come out fresh and hot when needed. They are a friendly group of hospitality workers who seem to genuinely enjoy their work and treat their guests with sincere appreciation. It all starts at the top, and GM Red is a personable and sound leader. We loved the Chef's pasta, our octopus dish was stellar, the Calabrian Chicken almost stole the show, but the unctuous flavors on the plate of the Seared Halloumi was hands down my favorite. I love how this culinary team can crank out such outstanding flavors table to table and patron to patron without missing a beat. The energy in the room must feed their souls & for that we are grateful. Lastly I wish to mention the thoughtfully curated wine list where my husband discovered a treasure of a wine from the Familia Torres brand. It was exquisite and paired perfectly with Madre's flavors. It was frustrating because that's one of the main dishes people go there for. What really stopped me from giving this place a higher rating was the condition of the men's bathroom. It was pretty gross, with visible mold and a wet towel on the floor that looked like it was there because of a leaking toilet. A lot of people say the bathroom reflects how clean the restaurant is overall, and honestly that crossed my mind while eating there. The food and service were good, but the restaurant really needs to improve the cleanliness and do a better job keeping popular menu items available.

At around $40, it was a bit pricey, but lamb isn't cheap these days and, honestly, most dining out isn't either. Fortunately, the portion was generous and well worth it. Also worth noting: on Tuesdays, kids eat free with a paying adult, which is a great bonus for families. Highly recommend!

The ambiance is nice and welcoming. This is an order and pay restaurant where you place your order…read moreat the counter, receive your food, and can sit anywhere you'd like. The portions are very generous, so if you can't finish your meal, it's easy to take the leftovers home. They conveniently provide to-go containers and bags for customers. One thing I found a bit challenging was the ordering process. There is a huge selection of food, which can be overwhelming for first-time visitors. I would have appreciated a little more guidance from the staff when making my choices, as I think it would have helped me order more confidently. Overall, it's a good place with plenty of options and great portion sizes.
