I do feel like for it being such a large salon it feels a little bare bones and uninviting. The chairs are supposed to be comfy massage chairs and while I love the idea these specific ones just aren't that comfy. I came in as a lash newbie, never had extensions before. Initially I booked with Emmie, fantastic work! She figured out exactly what I wanted just by me describing the look I was going for and they truly looked beautiful. I did ask to come back in because I had a few lashes that were poking my eyelid so they gave me a different girl. I'm not sure I remember her name. She did a mediocre job at best. When it came time for my first fill they automatically moved me to a different artist and awkwardly told me it was because Emmie was no longer with them. I did not appreciate not being told I was going to be moved to a new girl. I think when you book with someone specific if there needs to be a change you should be notified. The next girl they gave me did a pretty awful job (I cannot remember her name) but she seemed newer to lashing and both of my eyes looked completely different. I kept telling her that they did not look right and she agreed with me and tried to fix them but they just didn't change even though she was working on them. When booking my next appointment I asked for someone else because that girl did not do a great job, they assured me that Jordyn would be the best option for me. She was very nice, however she insisted that I do the UV light lashes and told me they would last longer. They did not last longer, but cost me more money. Additionally that night I had a terrible reaction to them. The lashes were stuck together, poking my eyelid, and my eyes were swelling. They then got me in the following day with a different girl, Olivia I think...she was super nice and really tried to do a nice job on them but again, the style was not quite there. She essentially told me that the work from the girl before Jordyn and Jordyn was so bad that removing them would be a good option, but that it is painful and so her removing what she could and unsticking what she could would work. Again these lashes did not last. The kicker of all of this is for this last appointment I came in 1 day later to get my lashes fixed from a poor job from one of their employees and they wanted to charge me another $70, which was AFTER a discount. Insane. I refused to pay again. I have spent over $800 at this salon in 2 months trying to find what would work for me. Terrible waste of money. The prices are insane here and the quality of the work is not it. The lashes do not last and when there is a problem they don't do anything to make it right for you and just expect you to keep paying. I now see Emmie outside of his salon and my lashes are flawless every time and the money I pay is going directly to my artist instead of to a business. I encourage you to find an artist that works independently so you can truly support a small business instead of a salon. Finally, I have heard from multiple artists that work or worked here that not only do they not treat customers well they also don't treat their employees well. I have heard from multiple artists that they have had pay withheld from them on numerous occasions. Of course I cannot guarantee this to be true, but stories like this from multiple artists only decreases my willingness to give money to a salon instead of to an independent artist. As a local LV business, you should try to do better and be more appealing and competitive. One final note: the vibe in here and the attitudes of the artists is not okay. They all are snotty and willing to talk poorly about each others work to clients at any opportunity but then seem to act like each others friends. Not a great environment.
