I did order something that wasn't actually available. The staff solved the problem without needing to give me a refund. The spot has only bar seating and you order online the. Your food is brought out in about 15 minutes. It's not the best ramen you'll ever have but it's not bad at all. I got 3 really good pieces of pork belly, the veggies, noodles, and eggs were just right, and honestly the thing that could be better is mostly the the broth and maybe cleaning up more often after guests leave because it can he hard to find a clean spot to sit. Otherwise, it's decent ramen and though a bit pricey ($22), it's worth it if you don't want regular airport fare. read more

Was wonderfully surprised by the quality of the food and service. The server was funny and really great with my 2 kids. He brought over the Elmo stuffy to entertain them while refreshing our drinks. Food is alright for airport food. After coming from Portugal where Asian food isn't great, this tasted fine lol. Yeah, the to katsu broth could be deeper, the egg could be soft boiled, etc. but it satisfied our cravings at least. I actually liked that it wasn't too salty. The main issue was the wait - it took about 30 minutes to get our ramen and an extra 10 minutes after to get our sushi. I wish there was a note that said it would take awhile as we almost missed our boarding for our flight. This place is definitely underrated simply because it's airport eats. I was checking Yelp and was weary of coming here because it was rated under 3 stars, but pretty much everything in this terminal is. We needed to eat something and ramen sounded good so we sat down and ordered a bowl on the iPad at the counter. We weren't starving and the ramen was expensive so we split one which ended up being perfect. The depth of flavor was way better than expected for an airport counter and the chicken was great. We also ordered an unsweet iced tea which was better and stronger than I get at most restaurants. It did take a while for the ramen to come out which needs to be improved when people are catching flights, but we were early so it was okay. read more

Well... The ramen cost around $20 You can order through the app but the notification is bad. So they won't tell you roughly how long the waiting is. It's Christmas holiday so the staff is running shortage. They are quite occupied. So so there was 15-20 mins until the ramen is served. I have to say the staff is nice very friendly. But the ramen looks like microwave food although it was served hot. The taste was ok, noddles ran too soft. But its definitely not worthy $20. read more

For an airport, I really enjoyed my noodles! A healthy dose of electrolytes right before my next flight was perfect. Of course, in other circumstances, this is totally not a justified $20 meal, but compared to the undercooked pizza my husband ordered, heck yes, win. The noodles were cooked right, the pork belly was very good and the pickled egg was nearly perfect. There's nothing to add for umami like green onions, garlic, sesame oil, chili powder. Recipe needs work. I know ramen broth takes hours to make, this seems like it's from a can. While it wasn't the best ramen, still edible. Lou for mayor! We were relieved to find a seat at the ramen bar and get some very good nigiri, nice quality noodles (ordered udon and ramen) and a true standout- the kindness of the staff. From the folks that gave us water, ran the food out to us, and later Lou who handled our needy requests for our baby- were all outstanding. Aside from having two of the coolest people I've ever met in an airport restaurant?where every post in a bar that actually wraps around in a circle because that's the actual shape inside the restaurant it's not necessarily a circle but the bar wraps the inner part and it gave me some of the nicest honest people here but the food didn't even take five minutes and place my order and I had it in five minutes five minutes and delicious.. Okay food, overpriced, poor service. They are a part of a group of restaurants in the international food court area at Newark airport Terminal C. I chose this Japanese place, sat down at a table and ordered a ramen soup and edamame. Self service ordering through a kiosk. 15 mins after the order, there was no response from the servers. Upon asking, they tell me orders take 30 mins to come. Ridiculous and wish they had put this critical info upfront before taking my order. Upon insisting my flight is about to leave, they rush through and get the ramen noodles first. However, it is bland and too watery. She forget the edamame. After reminding twice, the edamame comes- as expected, small portion microwaved in a box. Paid $35 for this not so great meal, the poor service and nearly missed my flight. Best to avoid unless you have hours to kill at the airport. read more

While I had a hard time choosing what meal I would partake in, before the flight back to Charlotte, I decided ramen would hit the spot. Simple bar concept with iPad ordering. YAY. Easy. While the choices of ramen were a plenty, I decided to go with the pork & shrimp wanton ramen. I didn't wait long - maybe 6-7 minutes, & my steaming bowl of ramen was in front of me. I eventually placed an order for a drink, but it wasn't served promptly nor was I acknowledged. I had to leave the seat and look for the bartender who wasn't too interested in working.
