I can't say enough great things about Kaffmandu. The coffee is incredible. Fresh, robust and perfectly brewed. I've tried several food products and while they're all good, the ham and onion quiche is out of this world, and I'm hoping it's back on the menu soon. The owner, Om, is the friendliest and kindest person and he takes great pride in his business. He isn't the "stay in the shadows and dictate to the minions" kind of owner. He is in it daily, whether cleaning something, fixing something or washing something, he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and the respect he shows his staff and guests is something all business owners should aspire to replicate. I am new to Danvers and live very close to downtown. You know what I love about this place? Besides the fact that people are actually friendly and acknowledge your existence... they have bagel's from Bagel World! I come here a little later on weekdays (because I work from home) and I rarely ever have to wait in a line. The service is fast, their coffee is MUCH better than Dunks or Bagel World, and I don't have to stand there for 40+ minutes. My husband and I often take a stroll to this coffee shop in the weekends. It is very cute & a great asset to downtown Danvers. It can be packed on the weekends so patience is a virtue when waiting for your coffee. I have never had the food but we are pleased with all of the coffee drinks we have tried so far! My husbands favorite is an iced coffee with "rocket fuel". I tend to get the iced americano cappuccino. It really gets your morning going with some pep in your step.
