This cafe is located in the most quaint spot - has retro/vintage/chic/small town vibes. In fact, across the street is an old gas station that has been refurbished into a pocket park! This area is really neat and quiet (tucked away from the horrendous traffic that floods Glendale and the surrounding areas), and parking was super easy and convenient which is a rarity in LA! I ordered the maple latte which i wasn't floored by, but the coffee was strong and balanced well with the maple notes from the syrup. perfect level of sweetness for me, but i wasn't impressed by the maple flavor. however, this would not prevent me from coming back and trying more drinks. my boyfriend LOVED the lavender latte!!! which is his go-to, and he said this is probably the best he's had. We also indulged and tried three pastries. i had specifically sought out this cafe because a friend told me about their cherry bomb, which was really really good. it was puff pastry filled with GREAT pastry cream and topped with dried cherries. totally worth the visit! we also tried the maple scone which was an interesting texture - not fluffy and doughy like americans tend to make them, and not dry like the Europeans like them. the scone was crumbly and traditionally kind of "dry" but it seems because there were finely chopped/not quite ground up nuts in the dough - the icing on top was sweet and complemented the pastry very well. the blueberry jam muffin was good too, BUT since we came in after 3PM, they gave us the scone and muffin 50% off! The pastries were already super reasonably priced, but a surprise discount won my heart completely over. The staff were friendly and hard workers - nothing but great things to say about this place. This place is great. Love the coffee, the environment, the people. My partner and I are new to the area and it quickly became a regular spot for us, we absolutely love it. The ONLY thing I wish they would change is that their Chai is pre mixed with Almond milk, which my partner has never been able to enjoy because of his deathly nut allergy (and he LOVES chai). While I only drink alternative milk, I really wish there was at least another option for oat milk or something because Almond milk just doesn't do it for me. Got there walked in and it was super hot inside I felt like suffocated, nobody greeted me upon arrival waited to order up until somebody approached, crowd is super weird, I got a lavender vanilla latte iced I paid $8. $8?!!?? I mean your coffee better be good! They gave my latte lid open, not even filled up to the top as you can see in the picture I did not even touch it yet to sip- I was disappointed, I took a sip and it was the most untasteful latte I've ever had. Stopped by on a Monday morning because I needed to accompany someone at the nearby Chevy Chase Surgery Center. The baristas were helpful and very amiable, the coffee (salted caramel oat latte) was good, the pastry (chocolate cake slice) was amazing, and the working space is great if you can find a table - each table is outfitted with an electrical wall outlet which really makes it a great space to spend half a day to do work at. Kafn is a hidden gem on Palmer Avenue!! This place has so much potential to grow considering the beautiful outdoor space they have. They have a variety of teas of grade A, Rishi Tea selection. They also offer unique chai tea lattes. I've had the Royal Rose and it was the perfect pick me up after a meal. Kafn is also stocked with delicious small bites, both savory and sweet (gluten free and vegan included!). Parking may be the only tricky thing. It is a quiet, residential area, so as long as you're reading the parking signs, you should find a spot not too far from the cafe. This is a tiny coffee shop in the quaint and off-the-beaten-path Adams Square neighborhood of Glendale. I had a latte ($4.25 + $1 for oat milk from Oatly) which was perfectly fine, but not the best latte in the world. I do like that they have a variety of non-dairy milks (soy, almond, oat and hemp), but the oat is the only one that's close to unsweetened. The rest have a ton of sugar, unfortunately. They also have a vegan chocolate cake ($3.50) which is gluten-free. It tasted homemade with rich cocoa and had nice moistness. Other than that, the only other vegan option is pre-packaged jerky from the Louisville Vegan Jerky Co. I'm giving them three stars because they're not doing anything phenomenal, but they're not bad, either. If you want better coffee and more interesting vegan items, head southeast 1 mile to Little Ripper, which has savory handpies and homemade lavender-infused almond milk. read more

I love tea and my walking partner loves coffee. I can't say we have walked there from Pasadena, however we have driven in the early morning to change the scenery. The tea drinks are awesome. I am generally a little bit afraid of any drinks mixed with lavender or rose, but they do them well, which I am grateful for. I believe I also had a version on the London Fog there and it was heaven. My walking partner loves their Vanilla Lattes, and I love that I can buy a Raaka chocolate bar at Kafn for the same price I would pay with Raaka. It's right across the street from Adams Mini Park and has a lot of natural lighting which is a major plus. I can't recall the exact menu but I remember they had a lot of interesting latte drinks (ie: lavender latte). I wasn't feeling very bold that day so went with my usual iced latte and it was good! They have a huge open space in the front and some seating area that goes towards the back of the coffee shop. Parking is pretty limited and can be tough. Cute as a button. Being in a random neighborhood in Glendale (but looks and feels more like Glassel Park) and across from a park adds to the appeal of this artisan coffee shop. Their pastry game is on point. I had a hard time deciding between the chocolate babka pinwheel and an everything croissant stuffed with cream cheese. Their homemade scones put up a good fight, too. The chocolate babka won the coveted plate spot and it was super chocolate-y and sticky and chewy in all the right places. While the salted caramel latte didn't necessarily ooze salt or caramel with every sip, I had mine made with macadamia nut milk (extra $.75) so I think the creaminess of the milk overpowered the flavoring, which just means next time I can just get a regular latte with no syrup for less moola and enjoy it all the same. Chatted with the baristas about various alternatives to milk (there are so many!), and appreciated their take on a few. I live walking distance to the coffee shop and I go here almost daily they came out with a new drink today so I got it first lady at the register looked at me confused because she was not aware of the new drink that was listed behind her when I ordered it then I wait 10 minutes for my coffee because they are busy and she has it to me and I asked her just are they not putting the caramel around the cup and she was like oh sorry we're just busy today OK but that's what makes it a salted caramel and that's what makes it flavorful so basically I just paid over priced for a coffee in Oak milk thank you... also just took a sip the rosemary salted Carmel doesn't taste like rosemary or Carmel it's prolly because y'all are so busy u didn't add the flavoring. But u charged me extra for light ice ( first time) i dont know todays vibe was just off it's actually the 3rd time Iv gone in and this particular lady was rude and just not a good vibe last month the staff was amazing and so friendly this month they need to be replaced. read more
