We are able to go on walks without the leash and she doesn't get distracted by other dogs or people. When we have company over, we don't have to stress about her acting out! Cole's training has allowed us to enjoy our dog in a whole new way! She was in perfect health documented by our vet 1 week before. Up to date on all vaccines. She hemorrhaged and suffocated panicking in the crate. She suffered a horrible death. I wish I could give 100 stars! Freyja was a rescue pup that we got as a baby. She was raised with other dogs and did great but as she got a we bit older that was no longer the case. While she LOVES humans, she was not fond of my late Great Dane, she'd have full on dog fights which caused a lot of issues, stress and a bit of ptsd for me. We had to section off areas so they would never cross paths. Fast forward 6 months, we get a puppy thinking since 1- he's a boy & 2- a sweet baby she should be okay and they will eventually be friends. That was NOT the case. She tried to maul him the first time she met him. That was quite devastating for us to say the least and the thought of rehoming the pup or giving up on her was not an option so, this is when we get ahold of Caleb. We signed her up for board and train and while waiting for her turn we did socializations and some one on one training with both her and the pup she dislikes so much. Two weeks ago we dropped her off for her stay. Over the two weeks Caleb worked with Freyja and our boy Finn. Freyja made new doggo friends, which is huge in its self while learning all the other great things she needed to learn. Today, Caleb brought her home, he walked her in to the house with my boy Finn, one on either side of him. My heart sank and smiled all at the same time. I never imagined her being okay with being that close to him with out trying to attack him. While we still have plenty of work and fine tuning to do. I am so happy and great full for the difference Caleb has made in our girl Freyja. I am so thankful. ------------------- Now for the boring stuff... LOL Cost was average for the area. I had researched a handful everywhere between here and San Diego. Communication was fantastic! Angela is on it! She is super helpful and friendly. Caleb would shoot me super cute videos, which I loved getting and loved sharing her progress with my friends. Caleb was referred by a rescue friend so, I already trusted he was a good guy, but he genuinely is great, knowledgeable and both he & Angela truly care about the doggos they care for / train. -------------- Lastly... this picture says it all.... I have been waiting for this from day one after I started following the Dogs gone Sane IG. I am SO HAPPY to have received it. My Freyja with her friends.

I personally am a certified dog trainer for a large pet store and while they are amazing for the basics I wanted a more expert opinion when it comes to more extensive dog training. I have a 4 year old Maltese who I've self trained as a a psychiatric service dog. Nacho is wonderful very well mannered, but has always had a bit of his own anxiety. Since I'm up to date on lots of training methods and I wanted his advice personally, he agreed to doing a private session with me. I brought everything for the session, his fancy FI dog collar that tracks him, his working vest, short lead, distance lead, his e-collar and of course treats. I told him that the e collar training I've done with him is modified as I don't have one that shocks only noise and vibration. He said while he gets results almost immediate with a classic e-collar conditioning, he is willing to do whatever I am most comfortable with. Nacho has off leash recall but only conditioned with the vibration, and because he's only 7 pounds and I got the most lightweight vibration collar I modified it to be on the back of his harness which works perfect. Again Vince will only do whatever you're comfortable with and better yet he'll explain the reasoning of how each training tool is used and why it works. While I know Vince could have gotten my dog to do 4x as many commands in the time frame that we spent working, it was more important for me to learn what he was preaching and my god was it amazing! Everything started to click and make sense which gave me so much more confidence in myself and my boy Nacho. I can tell he has had many years of experience and if I ever have any more concerns or questions I will happily put money down to see him again. Any dogs that I come across that need behavioral help will be going his way. While it can be pricey it is so worth it! Take the time to get his advice and opinion it's well worth it! My Chinese Crested, Hooper, had previous training but was still struggling with reactivity and socialization. I appreciated that Farren didn't push an expensive board and train--she assessed Hooper personally and offered private sessions that fit my budget. After just one session, I already saw progress. Over five sessions, both Hooper and I were trained--because we all know training the human is just as important! A month later, I adopted another dog, Bodie, and brought both pups to Farren's daycare to continue Hooper's socialization. We also did additional public training sessions, which were incredibly helpful. Hooper is now more confident and manageable! Farren has also been working directly with Bodie, helping him learn basic obedience and improve his behavior--especially with things like staying safely in the car instead of bolting into the street. His progress has been amazing. Farren is not just a great trainer, but also understands dog behavior on a deeper level.
