Cute little stand and got an acai bowl peanut butter. Good: - Came out immediately, super fast service! - Prices were decent, expensive for an acai bowl but about average - Good for 2 people to share - Really fresh tasting! The place is located right out front of our hotel's pool and courtyard. They have a variety of available bowls and shaved ice. Hubby and I wanted something small and split the Kai cup. It was refreshing to have on a hot day in the shade at a table they have available. You can people watch from there too. read more

I've always been meaning to try this place, and finally did. On two separate occasions, I tried the acai Bowl and the Choco waffle Croissant, and they were both excellent. The acai Bowl was classic so no complaints there. The waffle was nice and flaky just like a croissant. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a snack to come here. read more

10/10 all around. The waffles and coffee were amazing. The service was amazing. Outdoor seating was cool. We got the strawberry waffle, blueberry waffle, and Hawaiian waffle. All of them were amazingggg. So warm and crispy with fresh fruit and cream cheese filling on top! I also got the iced caramel latte which was delicious! Permanent outdoor stall with some covered picnic tables. They have four different açaí bowls and we got the aloha bowl (I asked for mine without coconut flakes). I loved the transparency of the pricing, the menu states the 16oz bowls are $13.95 (except the Nutella bowl costs $2 more for the same size). I think the options at the Sunrise Shack are a similar bang for your buck, I'd guess their large is a 20oz for $18, but I didn't see other açaí shops in downtown Waikiki with transparent pricing. read more

While I did indulge in two açaí bowls from here, it was really because of convenience and mother nature had me craving fruit so bad! The first time, I ordered a regular bowl. I am not a fan of coconut so I asked for extra fruit instead. The açai bowl was pretty good but not the best I've ever had. The second time I ordered the açai bowl with nutella. The nutella açai bowl left a lot to be desired, which was surprising considering how much I love nutella. It also seemed to be lacking enough fruit and I don't know if because I asked for extra previously or this was the normal amount. And even though I'm not a fan of ripe bananas, I didn't remove them either time and it wasn't bad. Now this place was convenient, but the customer service was not that kind. There were two people working the stand every time; I believe the same two people. Neither were friendly; I get it you live in Honolulu daily so you're used to it, but the rest of us are primarily on vacation (particularly in Waikiki) and you own or service a customer facing business. They have a few tables outside, where you can enjoy your order however, since I stayed at the nearby hotel, I just took it back to the room. read more

Convenient spot for shaved ice, acai bowls, and more if you're staying at the hotel beside it or walking along the street! The shaved ice was a little hard and not as smooth as other spots, but it definitely satisfies your craving! Service was pretty fast though and there's seating outside. read more

5 rounded down to 4.5. Fast service, reasonable prices, and great dole whip. I ordered two dole whips on a weekday afternoon and they came out almost immediately! I did notice they also had a variety of flavors which is nice. They have self serve utensils and napkins and it's a short walk from the beach. Clean spaces to sit and eat if you like also, it's just tucked away in a small plaza that I can picture getting crowded. read more

During our 6 day trip to Oahu, we came to this spot twice because we liked it so much and it was close to our rental. The acai bowls were so good, one of the best we've had during our trip. Tasted really fresh and came out quickly. The waffles were also tasty. It's a shack style, you walk up to and order then pick up when they call your number. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside available to use. read more

Yummy flavors and only $1 for dole whip which is soft serve ice cream and it's a very big serving for $1 do def get it on top. The ice cream was already melting when they gave it to us. But it was tasty. And the shaved ice had some consents milk in it, but the ice was a little jumpy and not soft, so we had to break it down with our forks and spoons to make it slushy. Don't walk too fast, or else you will miss this little hidden gem on the strip of Waikiki. Came here on a whim while coming back from a walk and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. Unlike other places around Waikiki, Kai's doesn't skimp out on ingredients. I was shocked to see I got strawberries, blueberries and even bananas. (I know its the small things that count) Because of this, the bowl itself is a bit too sweet. I hope the owners can read this and reduce the sweetness of their açaí to allow the fruit flavors to thrive more. They only serve one size but it definitely can be shared. If you were absolutely hungry you can smash this easily, but if you just want to snack on something with someone you totally can do that here as well. Staff were kind, prompt, and fast. This is neat little shop that is located in an alleyway, right behind the Outrigger Waikīkī Paradise Hotel, just off of Waikiki Beach. They have smoothies, dole whip, shaved ice, juices waffles, croissants and Acai bowls. it is a stand and they have a few tables and chairs, with umbrellas, on the patio located on the side. The people there were friendly and helpful. I ordered a coco mango smoothie. It took them about 5 minutes to prepare. Their prices were reasonable and my smoothie was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I really liked it. It was also very filling. I would reccoemend cehcing this place out if you are in the mood for some good shaved ice, smoothie and/or bowl. read more

Kai Fresh is tucked a little away from the street, but in the heart of Waikiki. We stopped here several times for Dole Whips & an Acai bowl. Service was friendly and quick. The dole whips were great. We had just come to Oahu from Disneyland and has several there to compare. They were very good at Kai fresh. I got an Acai bowl another day with Nutella. It was good. I think they pre-make the acai base and add the toppings. Back at home we have an acai food truck that makes amazing bowls fresh when ordered by blending at that time so that's my comparison. Still good. Kai Fresh was also reasonably priced for the area and has some seating. read more

We got a pina colada smoothie and a tropical açai bowl. Both were good. The smoothie was refreshingly cool. The honey made the açaí bowl quite sweet, but that was the way we liked it. At the bottom, there was essentially a soft block of açaí ice cream. There was a digital clock style counter that showed the order number that was ready, and once your order was taken the food came out pretty quickly. You just have to realize the pick up area is the opposite side of the order area. The booth was in a nice area, right next to a convenience store. Perfect for a quick bite. read more

Okay so maybe this is an underrated spot, I'm not sure! We were walking along Waikiki and it was really hot and we were craving for some Dole Whip. We found this place while walking and honestly it's really good! I doubt you can go wrong with Dole Whip but this spot really hit the spot! I ordered, 4 cups of coffee 2-small 1-medium and 1-large. 1 waffle with strawberries, banana and Nutella for $13. The waffle was delicious. The only problem was the coffee was completely watered down , maybe because in from California and we drink coffee very strong. This little juice bar is on one of the main streets in waikiki and was the PERFECT midday refreshment. The acai bowl was thick and creamy and so delicious!! The fruit on top was sweet and it had the perfect granola to acai ratio in my opinion. It is located in such a convenient little nook with lots of shade, making it a great place to cool down and eat some acai. Would definitely revisit! read more

My fault for choosing poor item Dole whip: this is my first and only time trying dole whip, never again. Its basically a soft serve ice cream. And thats fine if you like that. I chose pineapple flavor and it was just too sweet. Bordering the sweetness of sherbert. Everything about the bowl is perfect and they have many other options to choose from, but I stick with this one! The fruit is fresh And everything about this is refreshing and satisfying! Not the best shaved ice spot in Waikiki. Stopped here for some fresh shaved ice, but it was just a block of ice... literally had to chunk away at it for about 20 minutes before giving up. Seating is limited so it may be difficult to find seating especially during high traffic meal times. May have better luck finding seating outside. I've been here multiple times for lunch and had multiple different items. The acai bowl are good. I like getting the Nalu salad which is always a decent serving and tastes fresh. The sandwiches are also pretty tasty. My main issue is the service. I'm not sure if part of their training is to ignore the customer as much as possible because that has been my experience on multiple occasions. The most recent visit, I had ordered online and was going to pick up m food for takeout. There were three workers at the front just talking. I walked to the counter and was ignored. I could see where the orders are placed and didn't see anything there so figured my order wasn't ready yet. I stood on the side for at least 5 minutes without any greeting or acknowledgement. Not a single person made eye contact with me. When I saw an order placed on the back counter one of them grabbed it and placed it on the takeout counter without calling out the name and went back to chatting. I had to actively try to get their attention at which point I was looked at like I was bothering them. Asked if my order was ready and was handed it without any further interaction. I don't expect happy go lucky people and conversation but at least basic customer service.

They are in a medical building - Kaheka Professional Center - their entrance is on Kaheka Street. Smoothies are competitively priced, most are $11 for 20 oz. The menu choice is extensive. Besides smoothies they offer juices, coffee beverages, acai bowls, and sandwiches, what one woud expect from a health cafe. I got their Detoxinator this Saturday afternoon as I've been fighting the 48 hour intestinal flu. I am hoping this doesn't pass thru my system...ahem. It was a standard detox smoothie. Blue Magic Smoothie was very good. Cocounut water, blue spirulina, various fruits, and agave.

The only thing was that there was so little of the base, the açaí part. Usually you don't get enough toppings but this one had so little of the actual açaí part. The bowl itself is very shallow so not very much can fit in anyway. The taste is good though. It always makes me feel so healthy to come here. The people are nice and there are so many options! This one adds little shots and tonics and probiotics and all the things, AND it includes 2 protein smoothies which give you 55gm of protein/day so you really get everything and feel full. The first time they put stickers on all my bottles so I knew which one to do first/second/etc, but yesterday I didn't get instructions and they weren't labeled, which sucked. I don't remember which one goes with what. Make sure you take a picture so you know what order to drink them because it absolutely makes a difference. I never really loved any of their "cleanses" before, to me it was more of a gimmick and I was always hungry. BUT this new one they are marketing as a 1-day reset provides comprehensive explosive results fairly quickly so make sure you stay home. I love it. This would be good to do the day before the colonoscopy prep so you don't have to drink so much of that bowel prep solution.

I am sad that this is my third time staying in a hotel so close to it, but the first trip I actual went here. The food is fantastic. I always get the Brazilian base with Power Toppings and an additional scoop of protein powder or the warrior smoothie. The owner, I think?, is the sweetest lady and the other employees are all so helpful. It's a cool little shop tucked in the corner of this building. I can't wait take my wife and kid here when I come back in October.

Other than the mix up, the food was good but I recommend getting a bigger portion one because the small was not filling enough.

It was carbonated water with coconut cream on the top and some lime syrup? It wasn't sweet like a soda pop... which is a good thing! The smoothie was fresh, sweet, and incredibly refreshing. The rice balls were the perfect addition and completely satisfied my mango sticky rice craving. The staff were super kind and patient, answering all of our questions and helping us decide what to order. There is also plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a great place to sit and enjoy your dessert. I loved it so much that we went back twice in one week. Customer service is of the utmost importance in order to continue your business. My question is why would an employee scold a customer, slam an order in the trash, point blame at said customer, then make the customer feel uncomfortable by gossiping with the other employees? I think this is a question for the owners and the employee to discuss after rolling back the camera footage from yesterday (05/20/26 around 12:30pm) We are done with this place. We would rather support local establishments who actually care about return customers....with better food and customer service.
