I like the steamed ones as well and I think that is an option there. I'm definitely going to avail myself of the plate lunches once things open up in Island County. Right now only one person is allowed in the lobby at a time and there is no outdoor dining option at this location. I even asked the owner if he had bicol express, which he gave me a side of as part of the combo plate! After some chatting, it turns out the owner is from the Bicol region, which is where my mom's side of the family is from. Love it!
