Tried ordering online to use the $5 off coupon that kept popping up on my computer. When I went to check out, I received notification that I must spend at least $5 but the amount was over $14 so... Building my pita, which started at $12 with one meat choice so I picked LAMB which is fitting for a pita, right?!? (ok, maybe for mine) but that added $2, which is ok, but I was completely disappointed with the end product. I paid $14.48 for a pita that I had to doctor before eating. They barely put a hint of tzatziki or feta and yes, I could've asked for more of both - for an up-charge, of course. Luckily I had plenty of water, the lamb was very dry. Kairos was very empty on a Saturday around noon. Maybe people overlook this place since it's near Azalea Square. Negatives first: lack of seasoning, crunchy rice, and store bought pita. Positives: the sauces really do make the dish (tzatziki, spicy avocado, hummus), convenience, healthier alternative to fast food, nice change. Don't sleep on this place for a quick bite. read more

Falafel isn't the best we've had but definitely a solid option if you are feeling garbanzo goodness and the lentils are great. Kairos Mediterranean is always delicious. My kiddos constantly be for Kairo's Greek food, especially the feta fries! This is one of our favorite places in Summerville. Sadly, we do not have many Greek options in the Charleston area, especially at a modest price point. The restaurant has recently been redecorated and is family friendly with nice booths and cute outdoor seating. Everyone on staff is super friendly and kind. I love that there are so many yummy, healthy options for the "build your own bowl". The roasted sweet potatoes and zucchini are always delicious, the chicken is flavorful, and the tabouli is my favorite. My husband also loves the falafel. We will continue to visit often! read more

This is one of my go to places! Even my toddler loves the food! I always get a falafel wrap and my son gets the chicken pita dilla and we share the French fries! They make the best French fries! Parking is private so easy to find a place to park and within walking distance of the movie theater. It's more of a fast food experience than fast casual so you won't miss much if you just order to-go. My only complaint is the wait staff is a tad perfunctory. No one said hello when I walked up to the line, they just walked to the ordering place and looked at me. It didn't improve when I checked out. "Card or cash?" and then walked away. Again no pointing me to the utensils or saying thanks for coming. The entire interaction from start to finish was 5 words. First time in and I loved it. Such a better experience than Chipotle and I love this concept with Mediterranean food. The place was clean, staff were friendly and helpful when I didn't know what some of the toppings were. You get a good amount of everything and everything was so fresh and tasty. We both got a rice bowl with spicy chicken and they had so many amazing choices for sauces and toppings. Their baba ganoush was so tasty and pita as well. Parking: Located in a good decent sized parking lot. It resides next to Not Your Average Wings and Azul. Service: The service was very good. With this being our first time here, the servers were patient with us and answered every question that we had. They also gave their recommendations on what they like which I appreciated especially when it came on what to add to our meal. Food: Food was great! My wife and I chose to make our bowl with different choices of protein. We both added different veggies and beans to it and we enjoyed the end result of it. A big stand out for me was the sweet potato and the spicy avocado sauce if I remember correctly. Their drink bar was diverse from water, soda, and different juices which is great. Ambiance: Ambiance was great. We had a seat outside in the shade where the weather was perfect. On their patio they had classic rock playing which was good for you to listen to tunes while you eat.
