I went today for their Taco Tuesday and their tacos were so, so greasy especially their chicken taco. As soon as I picked it up, a pool of grease dripped down the taco which made it completely inedible. Their asada was so dry, unseasoned and hard. This place was truly disgusting, I felt sick as soon as I stopped eating. Their service was also terrible and there were only 6 tables to wait on. Depending when you go music is really loud you're practicing yelling at each other to be able to hear. But it's good music and the drinks are alright, it's fun if you go with the right people. Hardly go out to the Riverside area for dinner, but wanted to try this location. At first, I thought it would be in the downtown area, but it's a little off to the side. The location itself is nice, inside and out. Looks like it's in a business area, so I'm not sure how the parking situation may be during business hours. I went in the evening, so the business building was already closed. The decor inside is pretty bright. It has a dark setting with black lights, which makes the colors glow. There's a lot of Hispanic culture in the restaurant from murals to phrases. We ordered the nachos as our appetizer. The portions are great and the nachos themselves were pretty good. We also ordered margaritas and they were pretty tasty. I tried several different ones and they all have good flavor. For the entrees, we ordered the Tacos Gobernador and the Pasta a la Diabla. Both plates had good flavor. Neither one disappointed. The tacos gobernador had a good amount of shrimp and cheese. The sauce it came with on the side also had good flavor and a good kick. The pasta itself is creamy and also has good taste. Overall, very satisfied with the dinner. If I could change one thing, it would be the music. Playing Reggaetón over and over just gets annoying. It's the same beat with a different singer. If they changed the music up a bit, I'm sure people would not mind. Aside from that, it is a good place to have a good meal. First time coming to this location and because of previous reviews I was a bit nervous. Came on Sunday for Brunch Buffet for a birthday with a party of ten. Make reservations ahead of time. As we walked in we we were greeted with mimosas while we waited. We were promptly seated at a long table. We went to the buffet and it starts with the desserts. I tried a small cut of flan. Next was pozole, and different types of ceviche. Enchiladas, chiquelles, taco station, and lots more. Everything was delicious! Bottomless mimosas truly meant bottomless the staff were excellent about refilling anytime the glass went slightly low. The music is loud and some of the music videos I would not consider child appropriate but we were an adult only party so we were not phased. We were so happy with their service and food. Tip for the check: we were told we could only split the check 4 ways. I had just visited the Moreno Valley location for a retirement party during lunch on a weekday where at least 30 of us attended. Although they indicated it would take a lot of time to break up a lot or the checks they did so quickly. I don't know if it's an official policy or just to make things easier on a Sunday. It's not a place you can have conversation because the music is too loud. The playlist is on repeat which can get annoying. The service is ok, but it's so much like a club that the attentiveness isn't there. The carne is tender, but it's boiled - not what I was expecting. I wanted to leave faster because the restroom smelled like fresh vomit and then the scent was lingering out to the dining area - I was automatically turned off. Atmosphere is great, we love the kalavera (skulls) decoration of the place inside and out. It's so pretty. We came here on a whim, after seeing their taco Tuesday special sign outside, and we are so glad we did. The tacos are small but with plenty of meat and delicious. I've been here before and had the culichi roll and was not disappointed . Today however we had carne asada tacos chicken tacos and mushroom tacos. They were so good, it was the hood meat too not the chewy one some places use. Can't wait to go back for more on another Tuesday. First time to come today with my son for their Taco Tuesday special. We ordered Pollo, Barbacoa, Asada and Chicharrón. The chicken taco is too dry and bland for me but the rest are very flavorful without any condiments or garnishing. I specially preferred the chicharrón and Barbacoa. The staff are very nice. They keep checking on us and telling us tips about their food. I hope their to go tacos are the same price as in dining in though. All in all we are happy with our food and the nice service. The place is very clean and the music/ambiance is fitting for their theme. We'll be back next week to see if we can upgrade to 5 stars ! read more

We came in for a group of 16 on a Sunday and granted it's $40/pp but on a day it's over 100° we expect A/C. The worker shouldn't have to work in this heat either..no where was a A/C van in the parking lot and we couldn't even enjoy the food we paid for. I went here with my girlfriend after going to the Cheech Marin Art museum. We weren't sure what to expect but immediately we noticed a very unique outside decor. Vibrant artwork, almost graffiti-like on the exterior. Once inside the noise level was extremely loud. Apparently, there's like a DJ playing techno like music. My initial thought was that they have a specific customer type who doesn't object to that loud music, but I wasn't certain if we could weather it. The hostess was very nice and sensing our reaction sat us in a distanced area in the bar area, away from the main dining area. She said brunch was going on for a short time and that the regular menu would be available. We ordered tacos and they were pretty good. The tacos were 5.50 per taco and we didn't want to stay too long because the music was primarily way too loud for us. Some patrons didn't seem bothered and were actually dancing in their seats as they enjoyed their brunch. My only suggestion is that the business consider lowering the volume of their videos so as to attract more customers. If management is content with a regular crowd that's sufficiently bringing enough revenue, then that's fine, but for us it wasn't at all a relaxing experience, and dinner ought to include a climate where conversation can be had. The server was nice and the food was brought out fairly quickly. We didn't see too much variety in the menu, and I noticed that nachos were priced at around sixteen bucks which advertised you could "add" protein for an additional four to six bucks. If true, nachos for that price sans chicken or beef seems extremely high priced, but with the heightened decibel level of music, we weren't interested in staying. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING: I will start with the highlights of this restaurant. The food itself was amazing. I loved the taco bar concept and loved the different options we had with it. Here is the unfortunate negative reality of things. The service was terrible. We came for the Taco Tuesday promotion they have every week and perhaps they were busy that day, but most of the staff except for the busser who cleared out my table before we paid was incredibly, INCREDIBLY rude. First off, we were unsure of the steps in this restaurant to order because our server simply dropped off our menus and walked away. She did not greet us or say anything to us, but dropped the menus on our tables and left. We went to the front desk because she had not come back for a long while and asked if we should be ordering at the front or with our server, and the lady at the front desk ignored us and gave us dirty looks. Not sure if she was the host or the owner/manager. After we finally ordered, our server did not once come back to our table to check in on us until she came over with the check. I noticed that she went around and checked on everyone else to see if their food came out and if their drinks needed refills but she NEVER once refilled our waters even though they were low. I have never been to a place that made me feel so unwelcomed and made me feel like I was an annoyance. It was clear that because we did not order any drinks from the bar, they did not care too much about us and attending to us. This came as a shock to me as I am also a server and know that customer service and leaving a good impression is the most important for restaurant businesses'. Safe to say, we will not be coming back and we do not recommend this place for anyone. It's a shame because the interior and ambience is great and very impressive, but the service itself left such a sour taste in our mouths. read more

I made a reservation for my wife's birthday for 1:30pm & we all arrived on time ready to be seated, just to be told they were unable to keep our reservation because previous customers were still there from 10am! Then tried to separate our party in two different booths back to back. This was just unacceptable then the staff gave my wife & I attitude when I asked, when can our whole party b seated ? They offered us a table in the back corner where another parties kids & their stuff were already occupying that table they were un aware of. They had no other options for us & was unable to speak with a manager or anyone that had a definite solution for us . Instead of apologizing & making it right the staff here at the riverside location basically gave us no choice but to leave. Our whole party is in the service industry & was looking forward to brunch here ,this was very unprofessional & unfortunately was one of the worst location customer services we have ever experienced. I came with a group of 6 on Mother's Day. We were seated quickly. Lots of seating. Manager was walking around in the front making sure people had been helped when they walked in. Found out there are variations between different locations. I had gone to the one in City of Industry and there was a great dessert I was looking forward to trying again but this location didn't have it. I tried their dessert "Churro Sandwich" but it was not a sandwich. It was 3 small pieces of churro with a little scoop of ice cream, berry compote and some whipped cream. The churros were warm but I didn't care for the taste. The people I had gone with were also remember the City of Industry's dessert and were surprised too. 3 co-workers and myself came in for a business lunch and to check out the new neighborhood restaurant's decor. The music increased in volume right after we were seated and I found it difficult to hear any of our lunchtime conversation. (I know I am old) Our employer is just blocks from here and this restaurant could potentially be a go to for lunch and afterwork drinks on a regular basis. The menu notes that no changes or substitutions are allowed, I inquired what entrees were dairy free as I have an allergy to any dairy products. The lunch 2 taco deal was a nice portion of loaded street tacos however the beans were covered in cheese even though I asked if the meal contained dairy.
