I also had family visiting during the toilet leak and their company and scheduler was able to get me on their BUSY schedule 2 days after I called for service on a Sunday afternoon through American Home Shield - home warranty. By 6/30 Tuesday at 8AM, there was a plumber over to assess the situation. Then a remediation team arrived later that day. The home was remediated and cleaned up for a few days. Their attention to detail even with the plastic draping to protect the contents inside the home was very much appreciated. Their exceptional customer service and dedication to doing the job right truly set them apart. I will definitely refer them to family and friends for any future plumbing or restoration needs. After a "FREE" visit, the Tech quoted $1400 to fix a simple pump replacement that will take 30-45…read moreminutes on our tankless water heater (according to Navien Tech Line and other over-phone quotes). Others have quoted over the phone $250-$450 (but they can't get to it until late next week at the earliest). The water heater itself would be $1500 to replace! There is no way this job was even 1/3 of $1400! He also said he DOES NOT do diagnostic for free; and that is $365 (later put in his estimate $233). So, Plumbline mis-represented that as well -- since I literally have it documented from their rep via text that they will do the diagnostic for free. All of that is highway robbery. They also wasted our workday by coming out 4 hours later than the END of the originally scheduled window of time (they did call to say they are running late). We should bill THEM for that time staying home ALL day on a workday -- instead of the planned half day. WE DO NOT recommend these guys. Seems like they are just another company that hopes folks accept an outrageous estimate because they are already in your home after accepting a $49 or Free estimate. We went with one of the quotes that are WAY LOWER and waited until they were available. Fixed for $250 TOTAL!

They also installed two new faucets. He was friendly but very overpriced. I was desperate with no sink and I think he sensed it. Charged me $800 and was at the house for 2 hours. When I asked him why he charges $400/hr he just shrugged and said that's my rate, knowing I had no other convenient options. (BTW, I bought the garbage disposal and faucets myself at Lowe's. He only installed them.) This was enough to make me never use him again. However, in the past several months two of the joints on the line from the disposal and the other sink have literally come loose (as in come apart) because they were not adequately tightened) causing water to flow suddenly from the cupboard into the kitchen and the utility line in the basement. I wish Nate no ill, but he needs to adjust his thinking about quality and value if he is going to stay in business.
