Nothing was good, $30 wasted. 2 sushi rolls were packed with hot food so after 45 min drive home the tuna was longer raw. The Tom yum soup was almost decent but the chicken had an odd taste. The General Tso chicken had a bland sauce and the chicken was an odd taste and texture. The peas and carrots in the fried rice were crunchy and again bland. I hate leaving cruddy reviews on tastes because everyone is different, but this was unacceptable. My boyfriend and I recently moved to Louisiana from Hawaii and we were looking for a good sushi/Asian food spot. We have been blessed with fresh off the boat fish back home so I would say we have high standards for sushi. This establishment's presentation and quality of sushi was wonderful! We ate here for the first time tonight. The food was great and service was quick. We dined early for supper, around 5pm, so there weren't many other diners. As we left, the restaurant was starting to fill up. I ordered the coconut shrimp. It was good and the shrimp were huge. My husband ordered the lsu roll and volcano roll. He enjoyed both. So I have been on a Thai food crave for a little while now and found this place via Yelp of course! This isn't your average/authentic Thai restaurant but it wasn't bad either. I can say that I've had my share of delicious AUTHENTIC Thai and this was pretty close to what I've had in the past but not spot on. I ordered to go, the serving size was decent and they were pretty quick. I won't lie and say I won't be back because I will be especially considering Thai restaurants are not as widespread here. The fried gyoza was average of course, but I felt like the fried calamari had more batter than actual squid. We then got 4 rolls which were the Firer Roll, Fantasy Roll, LSU Roll, and the Las Vegas Roll. Honestly, I could not tell the difference in taste between the rolls except for the Fantasy roll because it wasn't deep fried. The food was just mediocre overall and took about 15-20 minutes to come out. I expected sooner since we were literally the only table inside. Service was okay. I have eaten at this restaurant twice and both times felt that the food and service were both very good. Wait time for food was minimal and the staff was very pleasant. Both times I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box at lunch time and thought the food to be very good. A nice little surprise came at the end of both meals - a small but unexpected treat! (Spoiler alert - first time a tiny portion of banana pudding and second time a few slices of orange) I will definitely visit again. However, service was a little slow so I definitely wouldn't suggest to eat here if you're in a rush. The food was just okay as well as the service. What bothered us the most was that their menu descriptions were not what we received when our meals came out. My friend ordered a house salad. The first salad was just lettuce and ranch. When she notified the waitress, she stated that it didn't come with cucumbers & tomatoes. She had to show her on the menu that it did before she brought out the correct salad. The second salad was fine. Then came the sushi. We ordered the Saints, LSU & Vegas rolls. The Saints roll is described to have crabmeat, not snow crab. I guess snow crab & crabmeat are used interchangeably here because it was definitely snow crab. The Saints roll was still good. The others were nothing to rave about as we only ate one piece and the rest remained on the plate. Price wise, it's a good deal but you might not get what's described on the menu. Food is good, a little better than some other strip mall restaurants. A littler pricier, too. I would recommend eating there as opposed to take out if it's a large order. The ambiance is nice, but like most places, a large to go order usually has mistakes or is missing something. (Funny how they never get it wrong by adding extra food). Went for weekday lunch with a workmate and a customer. Place seemed large but they seated everyone in one room- which gave it a crowded feel. We ordered chicken spring rolls which were pretty good but a little greasy and cut in a weird way that made them messy to eat. I was hoping for decent thai food in the area so I got the 'chicken thai curry'--- and can definitely say that there was nothing 'thai' about it! It tasted like it came out of a cheap can and generally had no thai flavor. Sauce was more like bland white gravy- closest I have come to sending something back in a really long time. They also brought my hot meal out way before the sushi that my other two lunch-mates ordered. Lunch mates said their sushi was good but the rolls looked sloppy and overly dressed. Overall service was slow, the "thai" items should just be removed from the menu, and it was a pricey $77 lunch for three people.
