Tried Kajun Grill about 3 years ago but the Tony Chachere was overbearing and i like spicy . Not only was the Burger too intense with Cayenne pepper but made the burger too salty especially if on low salt diet. The French fry's are home made not frozen but also over seasoned with Tony's. I like Tony's in moderation in fact had some on my fried chicken for lunch today! Since it had been 3years and new owner I decided to call and ask if they had expanded menu to a standard burger option. No only one burger and meat is spiced before its grilled. Manager recommended a new grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce & cheese with ranch sauce. Said it's big and very popular with older folks. That's me for sure at 75 today my birthday! So picked one up for me and wife for lunch to share. The sandwich was not typical chicken breast as it was chopped up and seasoned with something that was not Tony's but was almost like a Gyro with Italian seasoning! Wife vomited hers up! When we walked into the dining area we were greeted by our pleasant waitress. She was attentive and friendly. She recommended the Boudin Burger. My husband got the Boudin Burger with seasoned fries. I got the Cheeseburger with seasoned fries. And we ordered the peanut balls for dessert. The burgers were delicious! My husband said that the sauce that came on his burger was really good. This restaurant/drive-thru has great food. My only concern is the lack of safety precautions during this pandemic. The owner is a very nice young man and the customer service is good. I was very concerned that neither he or the cook were wearing mask or gloves. The first time I visited this location, I had concerns but I ordered. There's very little lettuce on the burger, one tomato slice, one pickle. Seasoned fries are just ok because, once again, the seasoning contains LOTS of salt. My family and I went here on a Saturday at lunchtime, and we were delighted to find live music! We had been planning to go through the drive-through, but the fun, lively music drew us out. In a grassy area next to the tiny restaurant, they had several picnic tables and a variety of lawn games set out. My kids had a lot of fun waiting for the food to be served while they played a football target game, a giant Connect Four game, a giant Jenga game, bocci balls, and a toss the ring game. I had the Boudin burger, and it was big, juicy, messy, and delicious. My kids and husband had cheeseburgers, and they liked them. My youngest had the chicken fries, and he liked them, too. My husband had the sweet potato fries, and he said they were great. The seasoned fries, in my opinion, were delicious, but we all thought they were too salty. I loved how the fries had just the right amount of crunch, and the flavor was great. I especially liked them dipped in the ranch dressing they provided.
