    Signature Rolls Platter
    Kevin C.

I've been here a couple of times to eat in and also recently ordered their Signature Roll Platter ($120) which I brought to a party. KanaHashi made the roll very fresh and the sushi was a party hit, there were several different types of rolls in there and we felt the value was there. I'd recommend KanaHashi to anyone in the Greenpoint area looking for a quick quality sushi bite.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious rolls. They really rolled out the red carpet for my family and I for my mom's birthday dinner. We ordered the sushi boat and it was pretty epic. The sushi pizza and pork gyoza are also delicious. Everything fresh and the staff is great. The place is very clean and I love that you can watch the sushi chef making the sushi. Two complaints that'll actually make this place more hype: get metal chopsticks and put the sushi boat on the menu.

Overall great experience, staff very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the unique roll with the Chilean sea bass tempura with avocado mushroom in black rice, it's nice to see something different! Also I like the vegetarian rolls especially the avocado peanut. Just didn't realize tea was $6, thought it was included. The special black rice roll was $20, little pricey but great to try!

Really great value for the price. Takoyaki was some of the best I've ever had. They didn't skimp on the meat in our spicy tuna and spicy shrimp rolls, and the golden eel roll was very tasty. Soft shell crab roll was also great. Service was attentive and kind. Very easy to get a table at 9:15 on a Saturday night. We were able to watch March madness at the bar. We are really looking forward to going back.

Very nice sushi restaurant in Greenpoint area. Very solid sushi, has a good variety of rolls and sashimi. You get pretty good portions overall. Sashimi very fresh, wished the rice would be better quality using real sushi rice and properly seasoned. Fried oyster app is very good for people who are afraid to eat raw or starting out. Been to this place twice and would come again.

I never ate here before today because I always found the lighting and layout of the restaurant cold and unwelcoming. The sushi is better quality than the other nearby places and I will eat here again. I don't know why the restaurant is so ugly tho. The food is good quality.

This is hands down one of the most incredible dining and services I've experienced !!! We often visit this place but we also take for pick up. Today somehow they forgot to add 1 roll, I called and the roll was delivered within 5min and some extra goodie !!!! I CANT EVEN EXPRESS HOW WONDERFUL THIS PEOPLE ARE !!! Everything the chef served was absolutely delicious !!!The marbling and tenderness was beautiful. My favorite sushi place in the whole NY !The chef and staff are ALWAYS so friendly and makes the plates look like an art. You could walk away full with just the 8 piece set. It was such a wonderful experience and definitely worth a splurge if you're a big sushi fan. My family and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND WOULD RECOMMEND NOT 100 but 1000%

Happy hour oysters til 7pm!! One of our instant favorites. Everyone we encountered from the host, service staff to the chefs are a pleasure to interact with. We tried the Chirashi and Nabeyaki Udon. Super fresh and beautifully arranged. A bouquet of sashimi is what comes to mind. Kudos to the chefs. Everything tasted as good as it looked. Kanahashi is a must visit and well worth the return trips!

Came here for a date on a weekday night and the place wasn't too crowded which was nice. The service was great but the only thing is I wish they had more choices for the chef chosen sashimi plates.

I think this may be my new sushi spot in Williamsburg.... The food was fresh, the service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. When you in the mood for some sushi I say give them a try you won't regret it.

Love to be in the Neiborhood, This time, I visited my friend home who live nearby the restaurant. Even there are many Japanese place nearby, but my friend still picks KanaHashi to be the place we order for delivery. Fish is good quality and time delivery time is fast.

The menu is pretty diverse with various appetizers, sushi, and also ramen/curry so your standard izakaya fare. One of my favorite dishes here has been the chirashi. The fish was very fresh and it's pretty affordable. It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.

He ordered the Honey roasted duck ramen and I ordered the spicy salmon miso ramen. Before our ramen came out, we ordered our drinks which were a Thai Iced Tea (can't go wrong with that) and he ordered the Lychee Iced Tea. For apps we had the Veggie Spring Rolls and the Edamame which were so crunchy with just the right touch of salt. We may have visited on a slower day since it was raining, but I can tell that it is a popular eatery and can get busy and packed. We lucked out and were seated immediately and didn't wait long for our food. The server kept refilling our water glasses which was much appreciated. I thought my cup was half full and i'd look up and all of a sudden theres even more water poured. Overall it was a cute restaurant and would be perfect for a lunch. I don't know how to describe it quite, beyond that everyone at the table agreed the food was delicious to the point of being nutricious to the soul. We got the katsu don, yakiniku don, and chicken katsu curry. We shared and they all had unique, amazing flavor. They were even able to accomodate my friend's request that the chicken katsu be made with dark meat! The service was fantastic. The cocktails were incredibly balanced and a real treat with the meal. All the ramens were pretty good. The serving size of noodles is perfect, just enough to be filling. - If you want a creamier broth that you might get from a pork broth, I'd recommend the miso (mix of mushroom broth and oat milk). - The niboshi is pretty tolerable spice. The spicy fish oil gives you a kick at the back of your throat, so not really a broth for sipping before mixing it. The pork belly is less fatty than what I prefer but the broth was plenty flavor. It comes with just bean sprouts, scallions and bonito flakes. If you want more toppings, an egg is $3. SEATING / AMBIANCE: 6 tables - 3 two-seat tables and 3 four-seat tables, and a row of high tops. Also one of the BEST broths I have had in New York. It is comparable to some in Japan with how good that beef broth is. The chicken broth is excellent as well and worked since my friend has a dietary restriction. Sadly could not try the karaage since they sold out! Get it if you can. Food (5/5): probably some of the best ramen you can get in Brooklyn! You take a sip and it has so much rich flavor you can tell they took a long time to cook it. Just the right amount of salt that leads to explosive umami flavor with everything else included. Only downside is that the egg is an additional 2-3 dollars boosting the ramen price to 20 per bowl. Other than that, it's a great bowl of ramen I will be going again. I heard the steak was good from my friends but we got the okanomiyaki, it's pretty big, delicious, but only get it if you are a large fan of them. It's pretty pricey for what it is. Cucumber salad was delicious and fresh, nice hit of spiciness. Service (4.5/5): The person helping us is super nice, though there is a language barrier and that might cause some misunderstandings. I only brought it down half a point because you aren't going to get that understanding but they are very nice and try their best. Nothing wrong but it does get busy and you might have to call them for refills or other issues. The chefs are also very friendly. Cleanliness and interior (5/5): you can tell it's rather small, but modern and chic. Great for a night out to eat as they are open late. Great casual dinner spot and has a fantastic Lofi jazzy playlist that adds to it. Combined with the unforgettable beef broth, and you have a night to remember. J's Parking Advice- it's pretty packed at night because there is a lot to do around. Parking garages are a little far off too but everything is walkable once you find a spot. There is a street parking but it's hard to find, you might have to park far and walk there or public transport. We did take around 10-20 mins to find parking. So good luck! Overall: it's a spot I have to go back to especially since they sold out of the karaage! If that doesn't tell you how good it is not sure what else! Definitely a local favorite and a hidden gem
