    Bossam (Large)

We've been eyeing this shop every time we've visited Boohan for groceries, and finally decided to grab something for a quick meal. It seems like the shop is run by an older couple, who seemed friendly when we stopped by within the last hour before closing. The shop itself has no frills and is definitely geared towards takeout as there are no tables for dining, just chairs for waiting. We decided to share the large bossam, which comes with the radish kimchee, shrimp seasoning, raw garlic and peppers, ssamjang and cabbage for wrapping. The total with tip came out to about $40+, which I would say is pretty standard for bossam for two. We both thought it tasted great, and will be back to order some more bossam in the future!

My dad ordered takeout and he said that the Koreans reccomended/said that this is THE spot to get jokbal! The meat was really high-quality and the side banchans were really yummy

Pretty good food. I like the radish kimchi. The pork belly was super tender and fatty. The trotters was fire. I loved it. Very tasty. Good sauce to go along with it

I called for pick up order. It's been a while since I had it. Foods still taste great like how I remembered and very authentic like Korean way. I think the price is still good;$35 for one order to share for 2ppl.

Packaging is not as nice as before but the food is just as good. Really liking their radish kimchee. Should have added a large kimchee with my order of trotter.

Punch card. Spend roughly $300 and get $20 dollars off the next meal. I cannot see anybody achieving this.

We came here on a Tuesday night on a holiday so it was not busy at all. The restaurant is pick up only. There is no indoor seating. The man behind the counter was very nice. We ordered jokbal (pig trotter) and drove 20 minutes back home. The meat was room temperature by the time we ate it. It was pretty good. . I would say it is as good as the one I ate in Korea. There is about two pig trotters worth of meat. It also came with radish kimchi, garlic, shrimp sauce, soybean paste, and lettuce. I preferred the soybean paste over the shrimp sauce. The food was nicely packaged. Pricing was reasonable. It can feed hungry two adults. Would I eat here again? Yes. It was delicious and there is no where else in Seattle with decent jokbal. They provided a punch card so if you spend like $300 worth of jokbal you get $20 dollars off the next meal. Not a big incentive but maybe if somebody really likes it. I do not see myself achieving this.

Combo $39.99 delicious. Big portions, comes with radish kimchi and lettuce and condiments

They even bring out dadegi, which is so classic for this dish and makes me feel at home. If you're a fan of mixing textures, definitely order the seafood pancake! So crispy, but also chewy from the seafood, and they definitely don't skimp out on portions of ingredients and the size of this dish in general! I have never had such a good seafood pancake, and it'll definitely be one I crave in the future. The place is so clean and cozy, modern, and the chairs are comfy. Came across this place with strong reviews, and the name itself includes seollongtang, which is always a good sign that soup is taken seriously here. The restaurant is much more polished and refined than I expected. We ordered the combination and the cartilage and tendon one. I am always here for tendon, so that was an easy decision. My husband went with white wheat noodles and I chose the clear sweet potato noodles. It also came with rice, which was an unexpected but welcome addition. The banchan of kimchi radish and kimchi Napa cabbage were both excellent and refilled quickly without needing to ask twice. The soup is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting, the kind you immediately wish you had closer to home. Only wish is that they had a combination that included tendon, because that would be perfect. Definitely a spot I would come back to when we are in the area.

They can accommodate big groups, as they had 2 different large groups at the same time, but those took up a lot of tables because the restaurant isn't that spacious. We ordered boiled dumplings and the friends combo A with jajung, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk (M). The bowls of jajung and jjamppong are huge, but I didn't notice any meat in the jajung. The jajung was basically noodles, brown sauce, and onions. It was tasty, but disappointing that it looked and tasted vegetarian. The jjamppong was tasty because it was garlicky and slightly spicy. I was surprised to see the boiled dumplings were basically tiny wontons in clear broth. They need to update their menu description because I was expecting dry and regular sized dumplings. The tangsuyuk was very crispy, and I'm glad they served the goopy sauce separately.

They had plenty of seating and we were able to fit our group of 6 into a booth. While they only have one grill per table, when the fire is turned on, it is really high so things cook so quickly! They have a couple of different tiers of options, but my family loves galbi so we opted for the premium tier ($45). The mid tier (I believe $35) you can go serve yourself all of the meat, but the premium meats are brought out. We tried galbi, ribeye and scallops from the premium menu, which were all tasty (the galbi pieces were large and marinated well, ribeye was nice and red, and scallops while small, came in the shell). Most of the sides and meats are self service which is also nice. They have many different side dishes (including cheese corn!), different pickled veggies, garlic, lettuce, sauces, and the meats and some seafood like shrimp and squid were self serve including a nice cold meat refrigerator for the thin slices such as brisket and belly. They even have a hot bar that I didn't try with various fried foods. They also had oranges, and my favorite - a self serve soft serve ice cream station! Yum! There were also yogurt drinks at the end. It is a lovely place that I think it is mom and pop - we had a sweet lady as our server and she was nothing but smiles. Things can get busy so it took some time for our premium meats to come out but no worries as there were plenty of self serve things to eat while we were waiting. Which is a nice surprise since some restaurants aren't as generous in the banchan. The galbitang was so flavorful for a "clear" soup and the meat was tender. It also included a good portion of meat. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often. When I went, it was just me then a couple arrived. There was a delay with their order so she provided some mandu on the house while their order was being prepared.
