Beef Bowl

This place was a 10 out of 10... My wife and I have been living here in Fort Wort since 2022, and we have been missing some bomb Teriyaki. We just happened to be looking up a place to have some dinner and stumbled on this spot. BEST FIND EVER!!! sooo good, we are definitely coming back for more...

Combination fried rice with chicken and shrimp.

I'm constantly trying to find a "go to" spot for Chinese food...it's definitely been a challenge since moving to TX a year ago. I was running errands in the area a few days ago and spotted this spot, so I decided to give it a try. 5 stars - I was welcomed into the restaurant as soon as I stepped in the door. The restaurant was very clean, which is a huge plus! I ordered a few dishes so I could meal plan for a couple of days. I ordered a combination fried rice (there was a small upcharge for both chicken & shrimp), an order of gyoza, and the teriyaki chicken plate. 5 stars - teriyaki chicken plate. Served with steamed rice and a small salad. Loved the grilled flavor on the chicken, perfectly glazed teriyaki (not too saucy, which I like). The salad was fresh, and a very good portion size. The dressing was a bit too sweet for me, so I used an Asian dressing I had at home. 4 stars - gyoza. They're definitely better than some I've tried at other places. They were tasty, 8pcs to an order (which is generous), good dipping sauce. 2.5 stars - Combination fried rice. I was mostly excited about this dish, because I was craving fried rice. The amount of shrimp and chicken - as well as vegetables - in the dish was substantial. My issue was that it was very sweet tasting, which wasn't what I was expecting, nor did I care for the taste. The only thing I can think of is they use their teriyaki chicken in the fried rice. I had some spicy kimchi at home, so I mixed some in to help minimize the sugary taste. Sadly, it just became too sweet for me so I ended up throwing out more than half the rice. :( I am curious if it would taste more traditional (not sweet) if I just ordered the shrimp fried rice in the future. Overall, the quality of ingredients and the level of service outweigh the fried rice, and I would definitely go back. I definitely recommend. :)

Chicken teriyaki + gyoza

Came here for a quick takeout dinner. The service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. I ordered a chicken teriyaki gyoza combo with a side of egg rolls. The teriyaki sauce was on the sweeter side, which not my favorite. The gyozas were fried really well, but on the smaller nice. Same for the egg rolls: pretty good flavors but also small and pricey. Overall there are no major red flags but nothing stood out either. The location is convenient so I might return.

The cost for a potion is very high. I ordered the chicken with fried rice and the cost was over $15. The portion size fit into burger size box

Chicken Yakisoba. Dry noodles and even drier chicken

I hardly do reviews, but I need to say that I will never come back here. Way overpriced, really low quality. Ordered 1 teriyaki plate, 1 teriyaki and shrimp plate, 1 beef teriyaki plate, and 1 chicken yakisoba plate and an egg roll. 66 dollars. I'd pay that money for good food, but this was the absolute opposite, sadly. I ordered the food in person and drove 7 minutes home with it. There were only 6 small, super dry shrimp on the plate which costed 16.99. The dressing couldn't even drizzle enough to cover the TOP of the salad, let alone even half of it. It's in the tiniest cup possible. The chicken on every plate was thin and completely dry. It literally wouldn't even be edible if it wasn't doused in the teriyaki sauce, which it thankfully is. The best thing overall was the beef, and even that wasn't even above average. I hate doing this, but I wish I would've read a review like this before I wasted almost 70 dollars on very little, really dry food.

The people who give this place 1 star had a bad experience or don't know what they're talking about, the food was great, the chicken had plenty of sauce. Gyoza and egg drop soup are good. If you want a solid chicken teriyaki plate come here!!! I got a spicy chicken teriyaki plate with extra meat, I think I had over 1lb of chicken which was just amazing! Great portion size!! I was starving so the pic was taking after I had eaten half the meat.

Gyoza Bowl. Where is the gyoza?

I was so excited about trying this restaurant! Lots of buzz online about the fabulous food made me swing by there tonight on the way home. It's located in the little strip center by Sonic on Colleyville Blvd., so I knew it would be cozy. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted in a friendly way by the lady at the counter. She showed me a menu and photos on the counter when I said I had never been there before. She was busily packing up carry-out orders while I made my decision. The interior was very sparse - plain rectangular wood tables and chairs with no decor and no ambiance, so I ordered carry-out. While I sat to wait, there was a steady stream of people coming in and out for their carry out orders. After a reasonable wait time, my order was presented to me securely knotted in plastic grocery-type bags. I opened my order when I got home and the Gyoza Bowl was hot and fragrant. The chicken was plentiful, the sauce was tasty, and the portion was generous with lots of chicken. Unfortunately, there were no Gyoza included in the Gyoza Bowl, which was particularly frustrating because they were the reason I ordered the dish. In addition, I ordered the 121 sushi. It came with generous dabs of Wasabi and pickled ginger. The sushi was tasty and fresh, and the six slices in the order were each about 1/2" thick. All in all, I rate Honey Teriyaki as "average". There was nothing bad (except for my missing gyoza), but nothing particularly noteworthy, either. My total before tip was around $21.00, which seemed high for what I received - but then that's Colleyville. I might return, but there is not really anything that makes me want to return anytime soon, other than to see if my order is complete the next time.

In the mood for Asian food? Not sure which restaurant to choose? Look no further! Honey Teriyaki has you covered. Located in Colleyville, Honey Teriyaki has a small town feel in the big city! The owners have a passion for authentic flavors and genuine hospitality. The service they provide is unmatched. You can't go wrong with the teriyaki chicken, mongolian beef or the yaki soba. We look forward to our next meal at Honey Teriyaki!

Decent food, just not enough food for the price. If I find a coupon I'd go again, just don't think I could do full price

I sat down and the waitress came and asked me if I knew what I wanted, before I had put down my purse and opened the menu. I should have just left. I ordered the sushi lunch, it came with five pieces of chef selected nigiri and a California roll. The roll could have been tighter. The first piece I picked up, the filling fell out. Though I did appreciate that they use the pieces of krab instead of a krab salad mix. It was fine but nothing to write home about. The nigiri was a bummer. The texture was kind of chewy, like it had been frozen too long. Not that it was bad, it smelled and tasted fine, but I would rate this on par with grocery store quality. The salad was cold and crunchy but pretty flavorless and was half full of liquid on the bottom. The waitress asked me if I wanted anything else while I was still eating and brought the check. I was still out of there a half hour before closing time, but apparently not fast enough. The price point was surprisingly low, especially for this area, but I found no value in it.

I was sat quickly at the bar, and then seemed to be forgotten about. I did wait a while before a man came to me to take my drink order, and then things progressed quickly. Though everyone who ended up being sat after me were immediately taken care of. I ordered the sushi and sashimi bento box. I sat at the sushi bar so I was able to watch how things were prepared. Everything comes out quickly, as all of the proteins are pre sliced and ready to go. They were busy and the turn around is quick. They also do a lot of to go orders, and those were stacked up by the front door. I thought the quality of the fish was good for the price. I really liked the ginger dressing that comes on the salad, though it is a wild color. The gyoza just tasted like frozen dumplings you can buy at the store, and then deep fried. But they were good. The rice was cooked properly, and not mushy at all. The only thing I didn't care for was the California roll. It was super goopy and just tasted like mayo. I had to leave that alone. The atmosphere is very noisy and if you are sitting at the sushi bar, you hear the constant beeping of their order machine. I may try them again for dinner if it is a bit quieter, or takout seems like a good option, though there is no online ordering on their website.
