I was drawn to this restaurant because of the high ratings on Yelp. My boyfriend and I had tried to get food here another time and they turned us away after we had driven all the way there because they said they had just received a large order. This time, I was in the mood for some appetizers so I ordered tandoori chicken momos and samosas. The momos were not good. They didn't have any flavor other than a weird sour flavor and they heavily lacked salt. They were also VERY dry. I would honestly prefer frozen dumplings that come in a bag from Trader Joe's or Costco over these any day. The samosas were very big, but again they did not have enough flavor. So much potato relative to dough. I couldn't help but think that these were the most boring samosas I have ever had. I hoped that one of the sauces they gave would improve the meal but they were also tasteless and watered down. The food just felt low quality and did not leave me with the desire to come back to give their main dishes a try. read more

I don't understand how there are so good reviews here. I tried mango lassi and it had gone off. We ordered the tandoori momos as it's recommended all over these reviews and I had never had it before- couldn't finish the first bite. Also ordered chicken tikka masala and it did not taste or look anything like it. I am Indian and from UK where this was invented - trust me, this is not chicken tikka masala. We had a bite and asked for the check. Still looking for a decent Indian restaurant. The garlic naan was light and crispy (and veryyyy garlicky- yum) the vegetable samosas were big, crunchy and piping hot (served with chutney), and the vegetable biryani portion was plentiful (with lots of cashews and raisins). I also tried veggie momo for the first time. The kind I opted for was momo jhol (which I learned were all hand-made!) and they were served in a flavorful broth that I dipped my naan into. This is new place in Cambridge and offers delicious Indian and Nepali food. We did take out multiple times ( we always order mild spicy) and our favorites are chicken korma, butter chicken, chicken momos and paratha. I have tried chicken tikka masala and chicken kadai also which is good but we prefer korma and butter chicken. The taste is quite authentic and paratha is also very delicate. Love the Tandoori Chicken Momos, I get them medium spice level. Inexpensive and they're always made really well, perfect for a quick snack. The mango lassi tasted good too but they make it ahead of time and leave it in the cooler up front so I'm not sure if it's the freshest. read more

This place just opened up around the corner. Our first time ordering and it was fantastic! I got paneer tikka masala, veggie pakoras, and my partner got chicken tikka and some kind of dumpling. Literally after 2 bites he said "this is our new spot!" The masala was amazing and it came with a big container of white rice automatically. It came with a ton of different sauces, and they included a side of mint chutney when I put it in the instructions (which was delicious btw). Pakoras were so crispy! Interesting and tasty tandoori momos! Would go back for those again and try some of their other dishes. Tried both the tandoori and the pan fried chicken momos, and the tandoori one was more interesting and tasty. I did wish the filings were juicier and has some more flavor, but the tandoori style made up for it (while the pan fried ones didn't) because it made the wrapper tastier. I know this is blasphemy, but I prefer the Indian dishes at this place to Punjabi Dhaba hands down. Everything we've tried has been fantastic. The rice is even spectacularly flavorful (and the leftovers make an unbelievable rice pudding with some coconut milk--pro tip!) Plus the Himalayan dishes are SO delicious. We ordered the bhatmaas, tandoori chicken moms and chicken tikka masala. Loved it all. What I appreciated was there was no food coloring in any of their items. The taste was on point. The curry was rich and delicious and even though we opted for the spicy version I could taste the other spices and enjoyed it. Great take out vegetarian meal! Everything was flavorful and appropriately spiced (I chose medium and it was a nice level of kick). I got the vegetable korma, vegetable momo steamed, naan. Just look at the locations of the people reviewing. To anybody reading these reviews, stay away from this place. Previous review: "Got the chicken tikka massala and naan from this place. Chicken dish had only 3-4 pieces of chicken with some watered-down tasteless sauce. Naan was soggy and bland. You'd expect better quality from a place that charges so much for their food. Down the street is punjabi dabba and their food is waaay better AND cheaper (I promise I don't work for them!). Another place with far superior food to both places is Masala Square in Union.
