So glad we did this ! We have done a few outrigging canoe tours while in Hawaii but truly this is the first time we have ever ridden the waves! Our 7 yr old is a total Moana fan and she was thrilled to fly over the wave to go beyond the reef and then ride them back again! It's like flying!!! Our amazing guide even played music the whole time we were on the water and it added something special to the experience as well. Especially when he timed the I am Moana song perfectly!!! Great for a family and I'm sure great for couples or solo travelers who want to experience riding the waves and really participating in rowing out to the break etc! We didn't see any turtles but we did jump in the water and our guide got some great pics!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful Christmas Eve experience!! See you in a couple of days with the teens!!!

    Ready to catch a wave!

Woo-hoo! Riding the surf in an outrigger canoe was a blast! Sharing Kekoa's love of Hawaii enchanting. Absolutely BEST Hawaiian experience. Mahalo for personal attention and Aloha!

This experience was the highlight of our trip! We loved every single minute of our ride with Kekoa! WOW. As soon as we got past the break water Kekoa turned on the Hawaiian music and sang along. He has a beautiful voice and is an amazing guide. We rode many waves and screamed with delight each time. I was celebrating my 69th bday along with my 30 something kids. This ride was magical in every way!

Kekoa gave us a nice canoe ride to honor my Auntie by returning her to the sea off her beloved Waikiki Beach. RIP Auntie :)

Multiple guests were getting seasick, as the Captain tried his best to navigate the waters. One guest nearly fainted and after that, the atmosphere on the boat changed. The Captain wasn't talking much and it seemed as if he just wanted to get back to the dock. Knowing the weather conditions, I wish the tour was rescheduled. We saw some fish and barely saw a turtle. I know the tour doesn't guarantee seeing wildlife, but it was disappointing hardly seeing anything in the glass bottom. To add, the glass bottom is just 4 boxes that you have to peek over to see. I didn't get seasick, so it was still nice to be out on the water and enjoying the views of the ocean. Prior to the incident, the captain was very educational and funny. Overall, had the tour been on a different day with more permitting weather, I think it would've been great.

Once we got out on the water, the experience was unforgettable. We swam with colorful fish and sea turtles, saw dolphins, and even got to see false killer whales. It was truly a great day out at sea. The crew was exceptional: Capt. Dani, Ben, Faavae, Kania, Roxanne, Kirra, Bernard, and Keely all made the trip special. Keely deserves a special shout-out! The crew provided educational facts, acted as lifeguards, served food and drinks, and even danced, making the whole experience fun, safe, and memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an incredible ocean adventure in Hawai'i. Great service, beautiful wildlife, and an outstanding crew!

This tour is very misleading online snd I want to make sure ppl know what they are signing up for…read more The staff was wonderful and very organized. But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.

MANA sunset cruise from Ko Olina - the absolute highlight of our trip!!!…read more We are no strangers to Catamaran excursions - trips in the British Virgin Islands, Greece, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. By far, Captain Travis and First Mate Taylor were exceptional, leaving no detail to chance. We were warmly greeted with a drink and were given a very thorough safety briefing. Both were meticulous in their duties to their craft as well as to their guests. The catamaran was immaculate, an outstanding demonstration of the care and maintenance it receives - impressive for a 2008 Cat. Thanks MANA and crews for your care and concern. We had only 5 of us aboard ( they allow a maximum of only 6) which really enhanced the experience. As we got underway drinks were served and then came what I thought was going to be a sampling of local snacks. No, it was a full dinner made by Taylor that was some of the freshest, best food we have had on the Island, followed by a dessert second to none. The other guests dietary restrictions were taken into consideration and we sailed (and for a portion of the trip we were under full sail & not motoring) around with soft Hawaiian reggae playing. The two hours flew by.... We were regaled with stories of the Islands and some very interesting facts. Sure there are less expensive, far more crowded sunset tours... but NOTHING compares to this one. It was worth every cent. When we return we will have already booked this trip before we board our again! Do yourself a favor, splurge on a really personal Hawaiian experience and book this trip. You will be richly rewarded & have memories for years to come! There may be no traffic jams on the extra mile... but you will find on this excursion, Captain Travis & First Mate Taylor are on the extra mile & demonstrate what the extra mile should look like! A very important note - we recommend if you are coming from the Waikīkī area that you plan on leaving early and planning a light lunch at Ko Olina - the Monkeypod, or one of the restaurants in the hotels. The traffic leaving Waikiki in the afternoon is horrible in the afternoon and could take several hours to navigate to Ko Olina.

Overall, it was a perfect experience and I'll definitely recommend them to anyone who would love to splurge a bit and go out on the water in a beautiful boat. I hope to someday get to rent with them again.

A quick tip: the website's address linked to the Dock Master Building, so make sure you double-check which letter the dock is--otherwise, you might end up at the wrong location. They are also a newer company so I didn't see any signs pointing out where they were. However I called and they came and found us and led us to where we needed to be! Once there, we were split into smaller groups, which made the experience feel personalized and manageable. Our guide, who even spoke another language for non-English speakers, was fantastic--constantly checking in to ensure we were all comfortable and tailoring the experience to our preferences. In general they had multiple guides and I heard several languages being spoken to accommodate the passengers! We encountered several turtles up close, and the amount of swimming throughout the tour was just right for a refreshing adventure. The guides all ensured everyone was safe--both humans and turtles! After swimming they had snacks that were very much needed to replenish after all the swimming we did. Overall, it was a well-organized and delightful tour that I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique snorkeling experience with a friendly, attentive crew.

It was shocking how little he cared about the condition of his gear or his customers' experience. If you value your time, money, or even basic cleanliness, do not rent from this place.
