I used Yelp to find this place and could not have been happier with my choice! The food was very good, the staff was super friendly and accommodating and the price was fair! Highly recommended!

Banana Pecan pancake combo

First time coming here and it was really good! My husband got the Karen's berry french toast combo and I got the banana pecan pancakes combo and they were both delicious. The service was nice, staff were very friendly and helpful. The food came out pretty fast, but we did go on a Tuesday morning. The restaurant itself was giving grandparents kitchen vibes, and we loved it. Will definitely come again.

I basically come here once a week now. Happy every time! Everything I've tried is delicious. Lunch and breakfast options something for everyone in the family

Food was amazing! So delicious, went around 11 am and it was pretty packed but they worked fast on making sure everything was going good. Great breakfast!

Bill for family of 5!!

Gratuity added on 5 people! Overpriced!!! I recently visited this restaurant with my family of five. We ordered four entrées and just 2 coffees and 3 waters, and the bill came out to over $100--which felt extremely overpriced for what we received. The food was decent and the service was good, but not enough to justify that kind of total. What really surprised me was that a tip was automatically added to the bill. While I understand tipping is customary, automatically adding it in this type of casual dining restaurant felt unnecessary!!I usually tip for good service, but I prefer to decide the amount myself. Overall, the combination of high prices and the added tip made the experience feel like poor value. Sadly, it's enough for us to decide not to return.

Two pancakes, two eggs and meat

I have only been here for breakfast so I can't comment on their other menu items. Breakfast has always been good. I would say kind of a typical breakfast place omelettes pancakes, waffles etc. this time I got the order to go, but we have eaten there in person and always had good service. I usually get the corned beef hash, which is canned I would say typical for most portion sizes are good and we've never had an issue.

It's a little shop located in a strip mall with some tables and chairs inside and limited seating outside. Walked in and it seemed pretty quiet with just one other customer waiting for their orders. Customer service was just OK. Looked over their menu and decided to go with the turkey sandwich. Step one is picking your bread. They offer a variety of eight breads to choose from I went with whole wheat bread. Step two is picking your cheese and they have a variety of 16 cheeses to pick from I chose pepper jack. Step three is the condiments. I went with all and if there's anything you don't want, you can subtract it. The turkey sandwich I ordered was OK. They were very generous with the turkey. It came with all the vegetables and fixings, but I couldn't figure out what was giving it a salty taste. Should've went with a different selection of bread as the wheat bread was very, very dry and crumbly. Paired my turkey sandwich with jalapeño chips and a Coke.

Baracoa Cuban Restaurant was an amazing discovery when we stopped for a lunch pitstop on our drive…read moreup towards Tehachapi. I can easily see them being a favorite in the Palmdale area. There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else for a special occasion ever again.

Extremely Skimpy on toppings. You have to ask for a little more of what they are holding back on. __________________________________ #7 Turkey Roast Beef abs Bacon 1. What a disappointment. The people making the sandwiches need to be trained. They put considerably less meat on this sandwich than the other one. 6 slices of Turkey, 5 Slices of Roast Beed and 4 pieces of bacon was sad to see. Yes, I was counting. 2. Skimpy on the toppings. _________________________^^^^ A. They Slice the meat way too thin B. Get someone else to cut the meat. The young lady looked too tired and was struggling. C. They should weigh the meat D. They Bread rolls need to be more Baguette like. E. If you are trying to make a sandwich that represents Jersey this ain't it. Advice: Work on the customer service. Pretend to be happy. Everyone in there seemed like they just got finished arguing. You guys are not robots it won't hurt to be friendly. If you want people to tip you, you should smile and greet them. Even if the food is bad, if the customer service is good then you will get maybe a $5 or more tip. The ambiance is just cold... I always believe the workers set the tone of the establishment. For the reader- Ask to pay for double meat. I wish I had. But I didn't know it was paper thin
