Our first lesson with Lindsey was an opportunity to learn about him and his drive , so we could work towards a safe introduction to the smaller dogs. She provided tons of tips and helped me understand what success would look like and what is and isn't acceptable behaviors to Look out for and how to work on them. They showed us how to train at home and then had us send videos between sessions. We did another home session and a session at a mall to practice walking on leash, desensitizing our puppy to all distractions, and working on how we communicate our wants to our dog. The staff is WONDERFUL!! They remember my dogs name, even when she hasn't been in awhile! Last time I watched, I saw the staff pick her up, which she loves, give her a little snuggle and then put her in her favorite spot - on the top of the stair structure where she can oversee everything. They love to give scratches, pets and attention to all the dogs, it just shows you how kind, thoughtful and attentive they are. I love that they have the mutt-cams so we can watch all the fun. :) My dog sometimes doesn't want to leave she loves it there so much! We chose this place because we love how they are cage free when boarded overnight and they give you the cutest report card when you pick them up.

Took her early (7:30) so she would be one of the first ones there. She had a great time. She easily interacted with the pack. There are many handlers on duty so that any problems are addressed immediately. Addy had to be "redirected" a few times for over enthusiasm We look forward to taking her back once or twice a week. Long story short, I took in my mom's high-energy and undisciplined dog Jaeger, a German wirehair pointer, due to potentially dangerous behavior, like bolting out of the front door, and pulling on a leash. He didn't listen to being called back inside, so I knew it was only a matter of time before a big accident could happen. He also had little to no basic obedience. Once I took him in, we started to work on those things, but other issues arose. I found out he had some pretty significant separation anxiety that would lead to him going to the bathroom inside the house or in his kennel, and he would work himself up so much he would bark and pant all day long. As a busy parent and someone who works full time, I was afraid I didn't have enough time to really work on these issues and was starting to consider rehoming him. After all, I only wanted what was best for him and knew he needed time and consistency to become the best dog he could be. That's where Quality K9 came in! Courtney listened to all of my concerns, took a history of what commands he already knows, what I wanted him to know and made a very detailed plan week by week of what they will work on. I left Jaeger with Courtney feeling confident and comfortable that things were going to improve. After his board and train was done, what I did not expect was that he would become a whole new dog when he returned! He is amazing off leash, has a near perfect heel, and his recall is on point! He no longer bolts out the door, and he is sooo much better in a kennel! The best part is that Courtney still reaches out to me to check in on how things are going, if there's any issues and if so she's happy to keep working on them.
