Completely worth the drive over here!! Pokemoto is on the other side of the outlet near Grand Pequot Tower. It's fairly busy actually. I decided to go with the Sweet and Spicy Shrimp. It comes with corn, cilantro, jalapeños and sweet onions toss in garlic oil besides the shrimp and rice. Every bite was scrumptious! I almost wished that I got a large bowl instead of a regular. First order of business is to choose a base of either white or brown rice. The server then added all the ingredients in a separate bowl and tossed together with the sauce before serving over the rice in the bowl. I also got a spam musubi that was a little too salty and had too much rice. It would not do well to eat after the bowl because it took the flavor of the bowl away from my tastebuds. I regretted that decision very quickly. They also ran out of the soup so best to ask before deciding to choose only that. I also tried a mango bubble tea and that was nice and light. There was plenty of seating and not all too crowded. The staff was nice too. I'd recommend this place definitely.

Food is amazing! Tuna, salmon and shrimp were fresh. You go and pick the size bowl you'd like and add what you want. There's a choice of 2 or 3 scoops of protein. Lots of options that include vegan/vegetarian as well. The individual that was making my order was very slow paced and I'm glad I was the only one ordering at the moment. It probably took 15 minutes to make my bowl instead of 5 minutes. They were missing a few items that made me sad like shredded nori and furtake flakes (I feel like those are must haves in a poke bowl). I went on a Tuesday and the teas are buy one get one free on Tuesdays. Thai tea was tasty. I wish they made the milk teas with real milk instead of the powdered mixes. The lychee fruit tea was delicious and I do appreciate they brew the base tea ahead of time (oolong and green) so the hot tea doesn't melt the ice in the cup. I would definitely go again and I highly recommend it if you love poke bowls.

December 2025 Yikes!…read moreThis place is not where you come for hot cocoa or hot tea. There are too many choices in the area to buy a good quality hot drink. This is not. The service was horrendous. My drink was four dollars and I got charged a dollar more for no reason. Making it five dollars. The drink was not hot and tasted more like water than hot cocoa. We asked for it to be heated up and they said they could not do that. They told us the half-and-half makes the hot chocolate cooler than if we were to order just hot chocolate with water. I thought that was a problem. But then I had to deal with the rude attitude of two of their employees. When we told them that our drink was not hot and asked them to heat it up, they told us that they could not do so. They said they would have to remake it and they could just put hot water in with no cream. The snippy, sassy attitude was not appreciated. The adorable ambience of the teahouse is worth a visit. More of a walk-through. But I would never come here again with the attitude of two of their female employees. I can't imagine if I was rude to them how much worse they would have treated me. There are too many choices in this cute village to spend your money. Save it. Do not come here.

They use natural ingredients, fresh fruit ..fresh milk and none of the powder stuff which is what sets them apart. Some of their signature drinks are crème brûlée series, whale crystal series... But I wanted to get what I had gotten last week, "strawberry milk tea with boba".. but I didn't know if it was with milk tea or just milk so we ended up with one each... it tasted so good.. almost like blending fresh strawberries with milk and with the warm boba to chew on ... extremely delighted!! I got my usual oreo milk tea with 30 percent sugar and jelly boba, and it was the perfect treat, as always. I got the matcha egg puffs, and they looked so cute with their little smiley faces! The flavor and texture of the egg puffs was also delicious and standard, but I was disappointed because I was expecting an oozy matcha filling in the center, and, as you can see in the photo I posted, there is barely any filling at all. The matcha flavor was very weak, and I was basically just eating a plain egg puff. It was still good, but I hope their other flavors have better filling or it was just an off batch.
