Food: everything was prepared well and promptly. Started off with a miso soup, which had a sweeter undertone with a bit more miso flavor that was saltier than the other ones I've tried. we had some spicy edamame which wasn't as spicy as I had thought. It's more salty with chili oil? The crispy rice and tuna was rather simple, feels like the tuna was rather skimp so you had to ration it with the rice. Then we had the Kobe sushi, which was absolutely delicious with the Wagyu combined with the white cheese on top as it was not overpowering. The seared otoro had a sweet savory with a twist of a lime zest, on the soft side. The gator Emporium had an interesting twist with the potato chips, which I feel like they're not as crispy as they look as as if the chips were not fully developed, so it's undercooked slightly. But otherwise it's one of the better sushi that I've had in Massachusetts Service: our server was fine. I believe you don't get one designated server as some came to check on our table. I did ask one of my the server if I can get some eel sauce and spicy mayo and was directly ignored so that was kind of rude, but none the less still got what I needed in the end Ambiance: it's rather spacious and great for bigger parties, like birthdays or get together. Definitely a more modern aesthetic to Asian culture, very beautiful decor Location accommodation: it's in a relatively newer Plaza in Westford. It has good amount of parking. I always like to try a place a few times before I write a review. A great place can have an off night and vice versa. After our third experience at Karma I feel confident in calling this the best fusion restaurant in the area, and we drive there from about 45 minutes away. I took my lady out for a fun dinner on a Friday night (I suggest reservations as they are a very popular spot). We knew what to expect as our first two times were so great. It still exceeded expectations! I was worried we were annoying the people adjacent to us because we were moaning and praising through our entire meal! (Sorry folks if you read this!) EVERY BITE (we came to EAT (sashimi/sushi appetizer, dumplings, house rice and a whole duck; no advanced notice required!) was top tier. Our server was not only attentive but offered insight on our selections, and was just a cool guy. I looked forward to him checking in. My partner and I both commented on how the staff were buzzing around getting everything right. I just haven't had genuinely awesome experiences like this as often as I used to. It lacked nothing! The prices are a bit on the higher side (plenty of value to be found though) but I would MICH rather pay a little more for a perfect meal than save 10-20% and feel like I wasted my money. Let the yelp haters hate, bc let me tell you, from a real customer who knows a good restaurant, this is the place to go. Food was phenomenal, service was phenomenal, drinks were amazing! This is my 4th time here and it's always great. We went for my birthday tonight and we had the best time...the atmosphere is always perfect, the people next to us were also celebrating birthdays and we were all happy. My husband and I enjoyed the Thai ribs, Boa Buns, The crazy roll, Kobe roll and Paradise roll and everything was fabulous! They came out with birthday chocolate truffle ice cream and what a treat! Ordered takeout 7/27. Sushi, Crab Rangoon and shrimp & chicken Pad Thai. Sushi and Crab Rangoon were very good. Pad Thai had no shrimp and no chicken. Disappointing but I didn't drive back to ask to replace -- probably I should have. Karma did reach out after this post and provide me with a refund/credit towards our next purchase. Excellent high end location. Went here for a birthday dinner and was pleased with the Asian fusion food selection. The waiter however was very inconsiderate about the two birthdays and stated we needed to spend over $280 for the birthday cake. Our total was well over this and yet no birthday surprise. stopped in to this karma a couple times. the interior is cool, chic, and happening. not that i care since i'm in it for the food but it's a nice touch. first time was dinner, got the sashimi platter, udon, agadashi tofu, and gyoza. for drinks, got their version of the manhattan. not too shabby for being in the suburbs. fish was fresh, udon was bouncy and chewy. the agadashi tofu needed more flavors. gyoza was on par. second visit was lunch, got a bento box, came out on a regular plate. where da box? i want the box. the lunch special had a variety of items you can choose from. i had five different things which was great. all tasty, all cooked right. this place might be a regular joint for me... will see. read more

Nice atmosphere. The smudges and debris on the menu were a little gross. The food on the menu looked really good, but it was pretty below average when I had it. I got the shrimp dumplings, the Kobe roll and broccoli maki. The dipping sauce for the shrimp dumplings was very offputting. The Kobe roll was interesting, but not always in a good way. The texture at times was not very pleasant. The texture of the beef particularly was at times undesirable. The incorrect order was brought to me for the other roll I ordered. Mistakes do happen. First and foremost the atmosphere here is always nice, dinner lighting and a fantastic color scheme. Only note for me personally the music was a tad loud but that's just me. The menu is even pretty and set up in an easy to read way. I got one of the mocktails to drink while looking through the many options, it was sweet and refreshing. For an appetizer I ordered the Duck Bao Buns, they were soft and warm and the duck was cooked really well. The sauce was a little salty but the flavor overall was fantastic. The vegetables and sprouts as well were crunchy and fresh. For an entree I got the Toro roll, some Uni sushi with a quail egg and the Kobe Maki as recommended by the waitress. The first thing that came out was the Toro roll and wow it was amazing, the flavor combinations were delicious and the light sauce inside was perfect. The Nori it was wrapped in was the nicely crisp and had a very light flavor. Would absolutely recommend! A million times over. Next up was the main food, the Maki and quail egg sushi. Quail egg paired with Uni is very much a unique experience and some people do not care for it but I am a big fan and always love to see it, the uni was lovely and mixed into the perfect bite with the quail egg. The Maki was different than I was expecting and was very creamy and savory, the sprouts on top, I feel, kind of took away from the experience and could have done without them but all and all very tasty. I took my granddaughter here based on reading positive reviews about the place. The restaurant was nicely decorated and appeared to be very clean. I don't know if my expectations were too high, but our experience was not good. We ordered 3 things; hibachi style chicken-yuck, fried rice-dry, bland, and too many peas, my granddaughter couldn't swallow it-mongolian beef-horrible-it should be renamed 'mongolian onions with a hint of beef'. I had to dig through a pile of onions to get to about 6 or 7 pieces of very thin beef. We also had 2 sodas. The bill came to $80. There were a lot of leftovers that we didn't take home. The service was slow and the waitress was not very attentive or friendly. We went on the early side, so the restaurant wasn't busy. There were a lot of staff standing around, but the service was slow. My granddaughter likes to give restaurants a rating, and she's usually pretty generous with her ratings. She gave this one a 1.5 (because her sprite was good). I gave it a 0. We will not return to this establishment. read more

Karma can be a challenge. Depending on the location and the night, the experience can differ. The Andover location does impeccable food, however it's imposing in its pretentiousness and is often very noisy. Westford is less formal in its ambience and quieter, but the food quality and presentation is not as good as Andover. In all cases, the waitstaff are attentive. I understand the services industry mantra of butts on seats and turnover, but I hate to rush my dining experience. Let me finish a course before the next is bought. Other than that, I enjoy the food read more
