Stumbled upon this gem while walking around. The owner is so so sweet and doesn't push sales, which I absolutely love. I was looking for an Indian store in the area and I'm so happy I found it. I bought the Neha henna and WOW, genuinely impressed by the quality and how cost effective it is. I especially love that it's natural and doesn't have chemicals. I was able to do and remove my henna within 15mins. Dries very quick. I have been doing henna for 15 years and this is one of the better henna I have found. Went on a walk after visiting a restaurant nearby and walked in to look around. Loved how welcoming the owner was ( i think he was the owner lol) my mom and dad selected some items and he took his time to explain what each of the pieces represented. Bought some custom jewelry which i wore right away. Places with great service deserve a great review! Btw. I did leave without paying for a $15 ring came back to pay for it, and i purchased one more item (brass elephant meant for good luck) he gave it to me for less due to him appreciating my honesty. This colorful little store caught my family's eye on a walk, and I'm so glad it did. We were immediately welcomed in by the sweetest Indian man, who was a breath of fresh air to talk to and so knowledgeable about his culture and everything in the store. With his store being in Glendale, a town surrounded by Armenians, he was more than happy to share similarities with that culture, which made me very happy, and as far as his collection of merchandise, he had everything from gorgeous jewelry, clothing, crystals, makeup, etc. and so many special cultural/spiritual symbols and items. And he was so knowledgeable about every single one, I feel like I genuinely learned so much about the Indian culture speaking to him. Each of my family members ended up walking out of there with several treasures, and he left us with an adorable parting phrase of wisdom: that the reason Indian people wear so much colorful clothes/ jewelry, is because they believe that will attract a colorful life. Happened to pass by this cute boutique in Glendale and loved what I saw in the window. Easy parking in the garage next door. 90 minutes free. This little shop on Maryland Ave. carries beautiful tunics, dresses, skirts and more all from India. Nicely embroidered fabrics on cotton, silk or linen. The prices are really good too. The gentleman who runs the shop is very nice and helpful. They also have sundresses, scarves and other accessories. I did well with a dress, skirt and tunic top. He gets new shipments in all the time, so I plan to check it out again soon. read more

This is a cute little Indian boutique owned by a very nice couple. The colorful dresses and festival tops lured me in as was passing it by while walking towards the parking garage. They have a great selection of dresses, skirts, tops, and jewelry from India. They are always getting new styles and shipment in so they often times have specials as well. Yay for small businesses. This is a small Indian store that carries some jewelry (what drew me into the store) and lots of colorful tops, skirts and dresses. The man that was working may have been the owner, either way he was helpful, friendly and I would say he likes fashion. I wish I had more time and that I also was not trying to focus on my wedding jewelry because I would have loved to support his business. I saw plenty of things that I would wear and the prices were reasonable. He was running a special sale that day so hopefully when I return he's doing something similar. read more

I flew here from a remote outpost in the Amazon (river, not website...) after hearing about their cute little indian windchimes with prettily colored ganeshes. The item was in stock, only 15 of your american dollars nd not only did I get Exactly what I came for, I also received the infinite kindness radiated by the owner. I'm not sure if he said his name was Victor, that doesn't sound very Indian to me, and the sweet man was definitely Mr. Happy from India. Now Visnu smiles on me every day, back here in the deep dark heart of the rainforest. I haven't heard any noise from the windchime yet; we are planning to climb up above the forest canopy as soon as the rain lets up. read more

This place is so cute! I pass by it all the time because I work nearby, and I always see cute little blouses, sundresses and scarves hanging in the windows. I decided to actually go inside yesterday and I bought a cute blouse, 100% cotton, for just $20. You just can't find apparel made with natural fibers anymore. My friend got two beach cover-ups to wear in Vegas, and let me tell you, she will be the most fashionable one at that pool party! I will definitely go back to pick up different pieces. They have lots of tunic blouses if you're going for that bohemian and world-traveler look. This store unfortunately does not get a lot of attention because it is located on Maryland, which is the street right behind Brand. However, the city has closed off Maryland between Wilson and Broadway (I think) so they can host live music shows; hopefully this means more foot traffic and business for this wonderful store and all the other mom and pop shops along that street! read more
