New coffee and tea house in the area. Super modern space with a good variety of coffee, matcha and specialty drinks. Very friendly staff. We liked that they have phin coffee and got ourselves an egg cream coffee. The egg cream was thick and frothy, so good! The cookie butter matcha also piqued our interest. My favorite was the skinny banh mi with pate and butter. It was crunchy and toasty with the right amount of umami.

I'm a big fan of the cozy blue atmosphere here since it felt relaxing. They have a great variety of drinks! You can decide if you are feeling matcha, coffee, or milk tea. Great drinks, but the female employee with highlights was rude while I was ordering. I got the jasmine milk tea with cheese foam. I haven't had something like this in a while since cheese foam drinks were trendy about a decade ago! Talk about nostalgia. It tasted floral and not too artificial. The cheese foam had a nice balance of salty, sweet, and cheesiness which I like. Sounds odd, but it's good! The Blue Matcha was so pretty! If you love strong coconut flavor, then you should get this. The matcha foam on top was nice since it wasn't overly sweet. Love the combo together. It's a cute coffee shop with plenty of seating and drink selection. I'd come back to try more from the menu. I'd recommend ordering less than 50% sweetness as anything higher can be a bit too sweet. This is something people tend to forget since 100% is typically the default.

I was instantly wowed by such a trendy and aesthetic atmosphere! The staff were genuinely super friendly and helpful when explaining things on the menu. Note - when you order in store your drink is served without a lid so it's up to you if you'd like to use it. The matcha latte, to be honest, is not one of the best. I was a little turned off seeing the syrup on the bottom, since a matcha latte is usually a green and white gradient. Aside from visuals, the matcha itself is not remarkable and has a powdery, fake matcha taste. (I know getting boba in your matcha is basically committing a sin but I was craving it lol.). I also really like the ice cubes that they use. Crunchy ice is so underrated. Please never change! The pate chaud is sooo freaking good! Just perfect all around. Next time I come back, I'll get one of the fruit teas because those looked very interesting.

4.5 because service were nice, drinks were good, and I love the color of the place! I went on a boba/matcha spree during the week and this place was one of the better ones. Drinks we got: Cookie butter matcha, cold foam matcha jasmine milk tea, and blue iceberg Their standard sweetness level (25%) was good for us. The top drinks would be the cookie butter matcha (would be great if they also added cookie butter foam in the drink as well instead of it only being cookie butter on the sides of the cup) and the cold foam matcha jasmine milk tea (veryyyy solid jasmine milk tea, super fragrant). Blue iceberg was good initially, but overall I think I just wasn't that into coconut coffee flavor from them. Location is ok. Parking lot was kind of small and packed. We had to park across the street. Can really tell the owner cares about the store and stepping in to answer any questions

Fruit tea!! Yum Tojo just opened near my regular yoga studio so I had to stop by. The staff were super friendly and helped suggest a fruit tea. I got: - Lychee Jasmine Tea: comes with lychee jelly. Jasmine tea is good but drink at 25% which is TOO SWEET 4/5 stars - Original MT Boba: taste good. Taste like Quickly. Boba is the perfect texture! 5/5 stars - Matcha: the matcha isn't the best. No matcha flavors the cream carries the drink. 3/5 stars The ambiance of the best is cute! Lots of seating. The staff are super friendly especially Brandon and Marsha! Thanks!

I enjoyed the drinks when we went during soft opening, so we went back during the grand opening. I don't blame them for the long wait times to order or the long, long wait times to actually get our drinks since they were so busy, but the drinks during grand opening were not as good, even though I ordered one of them the same as what I got during soft opening. The coconut coffee was watery and missing coconut flavor. The pistachio coffee was pretty good with bits of pistachio to crunch on. I ended up combining both of the drinks since the pistachio was so creamy and it tasted good. Then I came back a third time on a regular day with quick ordering times, and I was able to get my drinks very quickly. Unfortunately, on that third visit, the drinks were below expectations. We got the Genmaicha milk tea, which was okay as a milk tea but lacked any Genmaicha flavor. Considering the milk teas cost more than the coffee, that was really disappointing. I also ordered an egg cream coffee, but the taste was so off to me. Usually the coffee itself at least tastes good but I couldn't figure out why I didn't like it. I actually struggled to finish it, and this pretty much solidified my opinion on Tojo. Cute place, but I don't think I'll come back.

Came back to give them another chance... was not satisfied at all. I ordered their pink matcha which is coconut water and matcha cold foam. When I picked up my order, it tasted nothing like coconut water. I checked the label on the cup and it is printed pink matcha milk. There's no pink matcha milk on the menu. I ordered pink matcha which is COCONUT WATER. NOT MILK. Asked them to remake it or change my drink and they said they can't. They said "it's because I ordered it like that". I didn't even customize it. I selected pink matcha on the kiosk. I had my cousins try the drink and they said it was definitely strawberry milk, that's why it was pink. It wasn't in coconut water like shown on the menu. I'm never returning here. This drink, although 25% sugar, tastes just like sugar and water only. Would not return here again. Highly disappointed. This isn't the first time they got my order wrong too. The first time I came, they got it wrong.

ToJo is a modern, stylish cafe with a menu focused on Vietnamese-style coffees, matcha, and some other milk or fruit tea drinks. The menu is pretty varied, and they also have a couple pastry options to pair with their drinks. After ordering, our drinks came out quickly. Though the inside is beautiful, well-lit, and clean, the outside is unassumingly hard to see from the street, and the attached parking lot is very small. It wasn't busy when I visited, but I can imagine finding parking might be hard during weekends or if traffic picks up. I came to study here--though the seating is a bit tight and limited, there is free WiFi, a restroom for customers, and a number of available outlets for charging your devices. Its hours (open until 9PM) are also conducive to studying after school or after work. Some things to note are that the prices are on the high side; most drinks run from $6 to over $8, which is a bit steep, especially for a spot with a menu that overlaps a lot with other, similar spots. The drinks I have tried are good, though, and the sweetness levels feel accurate to what you order. I do think it's a solid choice, especially if you plan on sitting down and working for a while. If I'm just looking for a quick treat, this might not be first pick, but I can definitely see myself coming back.

An absolute pleasure attending Jody's TOJO Grand Opening! Very modern blue/white ambience. Plentiful seating indoor + outdoor. Order at kiosk or cashier. Jody was so sweet and employees were patient + open to describing/recommending drinks! I got the Citrus Bloom, which was mostly orange juice with hints of floral. I tried a bit of my friend's blue matcha OH MY GOODNESS!! Coconut overload! If you love Asian coconut desserts, you HAVE to try it. More coconut than matcha but still incredibly delicious. I found my drinks to be already sweet at 25% sweetness. I love the pebble ice! Overall, exceptional service, modern ambience. Delicious drinks! I will come back!

3/5 First disclaimer, parking absolutely sucks, probably fits around ~15 cars but obviously that is shared parking and has to also fit employee parking. The adjacent street doesn't seem to be paved so if you park there it'd be in gravel. We went over a bit further and had a sketchy (e.g unpaved side walk) back over to the place. Secondly, right now it seems all they care about are their influencers and/or friends and family so maybe come after they're done spending all their time with that? Owner(if I'm not mistaken, per my friends it was the owner) went to clean a table after someone left and sat there, the table seems to have been saved for a group who had stood up to start filming their promo video (awkwardly, the video they doing it near the order kiosk as we were ordering to make it worse) Otherwise, I think the drink itself, Pistachio Matcha was pretty all right, definitely up there with the pistachio coming in nicely to pair with the matcha. With that said, if you can come at a time when its not overfilled I think its okay for a pick me up.

    Ube Cream Vietnamese Coffee

In a time when it seems like there's a new Vietnamese coffee/tea shop/boba shop popping up every week, competition is tough. Add in social media hype, and the bar is even higher. Tojo definitely hits all the aesthetic vibes. White walls, a mix of natural and soft light, and their signature blue everywhere. Drink wise, it was nothing stellar, and the ordering system still has some kinks. I wanted a text receipt but never received one, and I think this was the case for a lot of people because none of us knew our order number, and we had to guess which orders were ours. Ube Cream Vietnamese Coffee. The coffee taste was super strong (which we liked) but the ube cream tasted off, but we couldn't exactly place what it was. Blue Iceberg Latte. The first thing I noticed was that the cup wasn't full. Maybe it's because I selected less ice, but I also had less ice for our other drink, and that one came full. Tastewise, nothing super special -- it looks pretty but tastes like a standard latte. Parking lot is super small, so you might have to park on the street or circle around a few times. I don't think we'll be back any time soon, especially with an abundance of coffee shops to choose from in the Bay.

    Blue matcha

Super friendly staff and aesthetic drinks! Currently soft opening so they have 15% off cold drinks. Decent amount of seating inside. Can order via kiosk or cashier. They have coffee, matches, and pastries! Both drinks look amazing! I got the ube cold foam matcha and the blue matcha which has coconut milk, butter fly pea tea with a matcha cream top. The blue matcha was coconut flavor heavy and the matcha flavor was only coming from the cream. The butterfly pea tea flavor was subtle. The ube flavor was delicious and creamy on its own and the matcha was decent. Both drinks were default sweet and were still on sweeter side for me. Would get less sugar next time. Small parking lot in the back. Would come back to try their other drinks. This spot is worth a try and good for pics.

The Secret Garden & Mango Smoothie were both the perfect sweetness and refreshing. I only took off 1 star because I think they forgot to make our order - we waited almost 20 minutes (only 1 other person waiting) so I had to let them know and then they started making it. But stuff like that happens - the quality of the drinks were really good so I'd still come back to try their other drinks.

My daughter and I both got the Blue Mermaid drinks and immediately understood the hype. So refreshing and pretty. She ordered the Nutella banana toast and was obsessed. It's such a creative elevated twist on Nutella toast and somehow felt both indulgent and fresh at the same time. I got the Zesty Avo toast and OMG... hands down the best avocado toast I've ever had anywhere. The flavor combination was unreal. The goat cheese with the honey, citrus zest, and orange was absolutely divine. Every bite was so unique and perfectly balanced. I felt fully satisfied without feeling weighed down or guilty after absolutely devouring it. The vibe inside was also so cool and unique. They had crystals, Palo Santo, cute clothing and little lifestyle items throughout the space that made it feel super intentional and aesthetic. The music made me feel like I was back in Hawaii or on an island somewhere. Just such a relaxing, happy atmosphere. Definitely one of those places you immediately want to come back to. We read reviews ahead of time and saw it was recommended to order online and come and pick up andi felt like this was a MUST DO, if you didn't want to be waiting all morning. I came to pick up my drinks about 25 min after opening and their running count for drinks made that day was already nearing 100. We tried the strawberry avocado smoothie and the mango avocado smoothie and both were great! I would recommend getting the mango if you had to choose between the two. We got 30% sugar (recommended) and I would say that was perfect! We added the oat pearls, and they were good. Different than the typical boba. I may prefer the other kind of boba, but my husband liked the oat boba better. I would love if they had both options to choose between and would love a few more non caffeinated options. Those are my two recommendations for change. We will be back!

It's quite different from a typical boba shop, focusing more on fruit-based and creative specialty drinks, with several unique combinations that you don't see very often. This visit, I ordered the Avocado Snow Ice drink, the signature milk tea, and a durian drink. The avocado drink was probably the biggest surprise of the day. It tasted like real avocado rather than artificial flavoring, with a rich and creamy texture. The grains and seeds at the bottom added an interesting layer of texture, making it feel more like a dessert than a drink. The signature milk tea had a noticeable tea flavor and wasn't overly sweet, making it easy to enjoy. As for the durian drink, it delivered exactly what durian lovers would hope for--strong aroma, rich flavor, and a texture similar to a durian milkshake. The packaging also deserves a mention. The designs are distinctive and eye-catching, giving the brand a unique identity and making the drinks great for photos as well. Prices are a bit higher than your average boba shop, but the quality of ingredients and creativity behind the menu make it feel justified. After trying boba and tea shops for years, it's refreshing to find a place that offers something genuinely different. Not every drink will be everyone's favorite, but the menu is memorable enough to make you want to come back and explore more. Overall, a solid first visit, and I'll definitely be back to try some of their other specialties.
