Kinda weird, but we walked down from our place at the Paradise Stream Poconos resort with the intention of having lunch and bringing some leftovers back. The meatball sub was killer, and the pizza was not forgettable. The interior was similar to an old McDonald's birthday play place that also somehow featured an independent. Today I ordered four slices to go. One white broccoli, one mushrooms and two Hawaiian. Unfortunately someone in the kitchen decided to sprinkle a lot of salt on the Hawaiian. You are in the food business, so how can you screw up such a basic skill like not trying the customer with too much salt? To me this is one and done. I absolutely hate leaving a negative review, but I feel this one is warranted. I will start out by saying the cheesesteak I ordered tasted pretty good. Was it $18 for a single sandwich good? Absolutely not. At many other local places I could get 2 cheesesteaks for that price and they would be just as good. Had a softball game nearby and wanted a quick lunch afterwards and ended up waiting 25 minutes for a sandwich and a fountain soda that cost me $20. We are a group of friends staying in the area. I chose this place because of solid reviews but I did not the comments regarding staff friendliness and busy. I say that to say, check your meat! The meat lovers I asked NO ham. It was suppose to be pepperoni, sausage and sliced meatballs. I got a delicious pizza missing the sliced meatball. Delicious for sure. Just sad I don't have the meaty ball. Also had the red pepper chicken and garlic. Solid flavor. Think of a chicken parm pizza with red pepper. If to return I would get the NY style as I pref the thinner meat lovers pizza over the thicker (and needed!) crust of the red pepper chicken. So the pizza was just okay...a little bland but the garlic rolls are amazing although super amount of garlic. They also have turkey hill ice cream but they have bizarre flavors. Counter service is fine and they have a play area for kids which is nice. They close at 8pm which is super early for a dinner place esp one right next to an adults only resort in paradise stream. Overall solid place to eat...prices are reasonable and if you have kids I would argue you raise it a star for the nice indoor play area. read more

The pizzas are large slices and very well prepared, the favorite from this author is the bacon chicken ranch. The service has always been wonderful and they pay close attention to your request. Went there to get a pizza to go after a day of hiking. It was a Saturday night, and it seems like this was the place to get take out! They somehow messed up my ticket, so it took far too long to get my pizza, but they were very kind about it and I had a nice chat with locals. Let's start with the good.. The wings are AMAZING! We got a gluten free pepperoni pizza and it was one of the best gluten free crusts we've had. Now the bad... I dont know who the guy was making the pizza but he was absolutely grossly rude to the girl at the counter. She was helping me, and when I finished ordering she ran to the back quickly to grab something, and then another customer walked in while she was away. Instead of him just asking the women what she was looking to order, she asked her if she was being helped (obviously not because she just walked in) and screamed for the counter girl to help the customer because she's "been standing there". I'm so sorry to the girl, if I was her I would have quit right there. You don't talk to anyone like that, it was so rude especially in the front of your business and customers. Lastly they're VERY expensive for normal pizza. I'd only go back for the wings and that's a stretch. read more

First off GET THE WING! They are so delicious and I find myself ordering them back to back every single time. Honey BBQ with the ranch dipping is my favorite so good but they have a lot of other flavors but haven't tried yet because I'm so addicted to the Honey BBQ ones. I hate to say anything bad about any mom and pop place, but this is just a tourist trap. The people that said they were from New York with positive reviews about the pizza are obviously lying family members. It was 4x as thick and 4x as dense which equals 16x bad. This pizza wouldn't pass in Delaware, much less Philadelphia, much less New York. Our family dubbed it school lunch pizza and that's being generous. The $13 chicken tender basket was obviously frozen chicken tenders and fries from the grocery store with a very off putting gray hue. I would have given one star, but it didmt make me physically ill, so it's got that going for it. I took my three kids (9-13) and everyone was happy. The pizza was very good & reasonably priced. Taco Bell is in the shared space, which was helpful for us, since my middle child didn't want pizza.
