They were meticulous is putting the walls together and getting the plumbing to work as intended. The team put floor protector every day and cleaned up everyday. Very professional and courteous. They were very detail oriented and on the last day, they spent over an hour cleaning up and putting things away just to get the rooms ready. I was amazed by the craftsmanship. I am always amazed how the team would take a look at the fixtures and products that I purchased and they would figure it out themselves to install it. Multiple people come and go and Ricardo would stop by almost everyday to make sure things are going smoothly and correctly. Jason would stop by for advice and check on the status. Based on my photos, you can probably guess my style, but it is for a single home so uniformity was the way to go. Just minor adjustments each room.

There is obviously something wrong with this floor, as can be seen by all of the reviews from people that are having the exact same problems. Initially, Randolph acted like they were trying to help and contacting the company that made the floor, but after three years of my having to follow up monthly I have been sent to their distributor who can't do anything. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They do not stand behind their products and even worse they do not carry good quality ones.

Everything started out smoothly. Jacob arrived to my house and we discussed the project we wanted…read moredone. Replace laminate flooring with carpet for the majority of our basement. Carpet was supposed to go all the way to the pillar shown in the picture. Jacob explained that due to where the laminate was installed, they were able to get very close to the pillar, roughly 1 inch away. We agreed to this and a quote was received and approved. When the installers arrived, I explained to them everything as I explained to Jacob, including installation up to the pillar. They asked if they were doing the stairs too, and I said no. This should have been the first red flag of miscommunication. When the work was done, I noticed that the carpet did not reach the pillar as we have discussed. It was roughly 2 vinyl planks away (over a foot away!). The installers told them Jacob only told them 17ft installation, not to the pillar. Which was odd, since I specifically told the installers that it should have gone up to the pillar. If there were some confusion, why did they not ask me about it? At this point, it was too late to fix. Jacob arrived and confirmed it as supposed to go the pillar, and further confirmed that it was too late to do anything. By failing to remove all the vinyl planks up towards the pillar, this also caused the end of the carpet to not be able to be tucked under the laminate. Now there is an area of the carpet that sticks out as well, also shown in the picture. Finally, our basement has a step down area. By removing the laminate, it exposed a gap in my baseboard. I would have hoped that the installers would have asked us how to proceed, rather than just ignoring it and proceeding. So now I have more imperfections due to the carpet installation. At the end of the day, the carpet was mostly installed as we requested. Just wished that the communication would have been better. Now I am stuck with imperfections in my basement. The ironic part is, the leftover roll of carpet they provided me would have been enough to cover the area they failed to install.

This was in April 2023. In mid-September of 2023 we noticed that the carpet was coming up against our hearth. I called CP, spoke with Ara. We agreed to set up an appointment in October. I emailed Ara when we got back from vacation. No answer after a week. I emailed again. And a third time. No answer through the end of October. I finally emailed the store address. No answer. I called the store. I was told that Ara comes in at 10. It was 9:45 am when I called. I told the employee that I would call back. I called back at 11 AM, Ara was with a customer. I left my name and my phone number. No call back. On November 8, Wednesday morning, I called again. I was put on hold, and a few minutes later the employee who answered my call, said that Ara could not be found. I left my name and my phone number. I waited five hours and did not hear from Ara. When I call back, he answered the phone. By now, I hope you have concluded that once you've paid them and had the work done, they will avoid you and they will ghost you. I was surprised that Ara did not acknowledge the multiple emails and phone calls that I had to make to get to this point. We scheduled the repair for Friday morning, November 10, between 8 and 9 AM. It is now Friday, November 10. It is 9:30 AM. I hope you are thinking what I am thinking. What I am thinking is that what started out as a good thing has turned out to be a bad thing. We have a $4000 flooring job that needs a repair within six months and the lackadaisical response is ridiculous. I hope you have concluded that this is not a happy ending and that you should not risk putting yourself in the same situation.
