Ramiro is a good salesman. We had the, Kathy's Landscape (witch Ramiro claims to be part owner) redo a large hillside and everything went well. All was good until about 6 months after the project we kept noticing water coming from under the brick work. The only water on the hill was drip lines that Kathy's put in but when we looked at them they did not seem to be leaking. Then a few months later we realized that the regulator that they had installed needed was not working right and so we dug up the regulator and there was the leak that we had been wondering about. It is not a huge leak but it needs to be fixed. I call Rimaro and he came and met with me and the gardner. He laughed, kidded around that the gardner could fix it and I said your guys put it in you should have them repair it. He said well we installed more than a year ago and I told him it was not more than a year ago. Anyway while the gardner and I were speaking he sort of sneaked away. When I notice he was gone I looked for him by the driveway and he must have ran to the car so fast and took off. I called immediately on his cell. A message came back I call you right back. He did not call me back and when I texted him he ignored me completely. Finally after many effort and telling him this was not settled and that I had looked at the contract and it had not reached the one year yet. He then left me a text saying he would call me the next day after twelve. Needless to say I never heard from him. It is so amazing that we spent all that money with Kathy's landscape, even sent them pictures and wrote a nice revue and then we would be treated this way, just over a little leak. Ramiro is not even man enough or the company isn't decent enough to even have a conversation with you. It would of been so easy for them to send one of their guys to fix it. Just a warning beware of Ramiro, he is a good salesman but not someone you can trust to be a good and respectful person. If anything goes wrong with the project he runs as fast as he can. After a sprinkler leak on our front lawn was becoming a real problem (and embarrassing), we reached out to a recommended sprinkler repair person identified on NextDoor. However, this other company was not able to even make an appointment for a week. Desperate to solve the problem, we called Kathy's Landscaping. We are so glad we did. Ramiro came out the afternoon of our call, immediately diagnosed the problem, and fixed the leak right then and there. We had also discovered a problem with a rusted out irrigation turn-off valve. Ramiro found the right part, dug out the rusted valve, and installed a new one. He also replaced about a dozen sprinklers that were were not working properly, adjusted them so they were watering the lawn (not the sidewalk), and even corrected the watering times on our sprinkler timer. Ramiro and has team were prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced. It is clear that Ramiro cares about his customers and about doing a professional job. Decided to tear out old front lawn and decrease water bill with California landscape---Lukasz did a great job on quote and staging of plants the day of work. We had to and gott HOA approval. Tomas and his hard working guys were punctual in 103 degree heat and very accommodating with customer needs and cleaned up the area after each phase. They also worked on fertilizing and seeding our backyard-its coming out great. ALL in 1 day!!! (with lots of water!) Amazing french drains installed with drip irrigation. Lukasz did follow up calls to make sure we were happy and how to water the landscape. I had Kathy's do a driveway extension for me after they had removed an old pepper tree from the area. Excellent work! Arrived when they said they would and got right to work. Tomas and his crew excavated, compacted, and formed the area in preparation for the pour in one day! They cleaned up the area at the end of each phase of the work and suggested a couple of improvements to what I had originally planned. The next day the crew returned to pour the concrete and finish it to match the existing drive. And again cleaned up everything before leaving. VERY happy with the work done! Do not give Kathy's Landscaping your credit card for auto-pay. When their business split between two brothers, my property was assigned to Dramatic Landscaping, yet Kathy's kept charging my card $150 every month. Romero admitted he didn't know how to stop the recurring billing and promised to forward the collected funds to Dramatic. Instead, Romero went completely silent and pocketed eight months of payments for phantom services. Because Kathy's never forwarded the money or fixed their billing, Dramatic is now aggressively demanding $1,050 from me for the exact same period. Continuing unauthorized charges while leaving customers caught in their partnership crossfire is completely unacceptable. Avoid them. read more

Ramiro and his team were fantastic! They took care of my over grown Date palm above my jacuzzi, it was a rodent hotel and many things dropping in jacuzzi! They worked very hard to make it look great! They were very careful of my property, it was on top of a jacuzzi water fall with little room to work, they also made sure none of my recently planted flowers next to the jacuzzi were not damaged. Ramiro came out and gave us a quote that seemed a little high but he was professional in appearance and demeanor and the yelp reviews are pretty good so we decided to go with him. They took out our old patio and lawn and replaced each. The new patio is stamped concrete and looks amazing! We love our new lawn and all the irrigation works to cover everything.
