I was surprised by how few veteran-owned nail salons there were, so when I found Trendy Nail & Spa, I knew that was the place. I stopped by in person to make a reservation for four. The owner was was incredibly welcoming, and even though they were fully booked on what looked like a very busy Saturday, he made room for my group. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Even with a full salon, the place never felt rushed or chaotic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and were genuinely happy to be there, which I knew it would contribute to my friends' experience to be even more enjoyable. The ladies had an amazing time, and their manicures and pedicures turned out absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and customer service were outstanding. I had a gel manicure done by Tammy a little over a month ago for my wedding! Getting to the salon wasn't too difficult, some street parking wasn't too difficult. The salon had a cute and modern vibe to it! I was instantly seated by Tammy and she got to work. They had an iPad at each station, which really made my experience here relaxing. I had a hard gel set on, and Tammy did mention how they'd have to start clean and remove this set. I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! This is probably the best set of ombré nails I've ever had done!!! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)! If I were in the area more often, I'd go back to Buttercup in a heartbeat!!!! They are on the pricier side, but you'll be paying for quality IMO.

I still gave the nail tech a tip for her time. Very disappointed with the quality and experience. I may give them another try but it may take some time.
