He told it was my choice since it was #TacoTuesday so I chose a place it's been awhile since I've last visited. I also knew it was a good pick because my buddy Aaron had been there previously and enjoyed them. Plus they have a good selection for those on Vegan and Pescatarian diets! As luck would have it our buddy Adam had never been before so this was his first visit! We started our dinner with a round of Margarita Picantes. Which is a Jalapeño infused margarita. My choices were 1x Chorizo and 1x Chicken Tinga taco. Both crazy good. Aaron had their veggie special tacos, which the ingredients on that can be found on the last photo. He enjoyed them so much he ended up ordering a third one, and I don't blame him! Adam went with the carnitas which is another favorite of mine from here. We ordered another round of Margarita Picantes before closing out our checks. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy some of the best tacos Jacksonville has to offer, this IS the spot. They're one of my Top 5 places and a place I take any friend visiting from out of town who wants #TacoTimeWithTrish

This place was busy but we scored 2 indoor seats- on a cooler day I'd love to enjoy the sneaky outdoor patio out back. Staff was friendly and awesome and clearly loved the food here. My absolutely favorite was the mushroom taco- so fresh and delicious and overflowing with veggies. If I wasn't going to a concert right afterward I woulda ordered a second helping lol. My husband got 3 different meat tacos and loved his food too. Price point was also very reasonable. Zero complaints- will return asap!

We've worked our way through the menu--from fresh, vibrant salads and flavorful appetizers to perfectly prepared pastas and beautifully crafted signature cocktails--and every dish has been consistently outstanding. You can tell there's real intention behind every plate, with quality ingredients and flavors that feel both fresh and thoughtfully balanced. The service is just as impressive. The staff is attentive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in creating a great dining experience without ever feeling intrusive. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and inviting, making it ideal for a romantic date night, a relaxed family dinner, or celebrating with a group of friends. It's the kind of place where you can linger over cocktails and conversation while enjoying an exceptional meal. Consistency is hard to find, but Josephine's delivers it every single time. Highly recommend--you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing 5 star time at Josephine!…read more I had heard great things about this place and when some co-workers came into town, I knew I wanted to try this spot with them and I'm so glad I did! The restaurant is beautifully set up and a great vibe. We had Caylee as our server and she was so friendly and bubbly! We started off with some drinks and they were all delicious and had a fresh taste. For appetizers, we ordered family style and got the carpaccio, sourdough focaccia, and the 'nduja arancini with a goat cheese crema. The carpaccio and arancini were my favs but all were perfection! We also did some family style for the mains and got caesar salad, rigatoni bolognese, chicken 'nduja, and carrots with whipped ricotta. The rigatoni bolognese was sooo yummy! We saw the bartenders experimenting with drinks and asked which one it was that looked so good - I believe they called it a burrata cocktail or something but it was actually so good! They brought it out to us to try even though it's not on the menu yet, which was so kind. For desserts, we got the olive oil cake and tiramisu. Tiramisu is my all-time favorite dessert so I thought I was going to like that one better but I actually loved the olive oil cake so much. It was my first time having an olive oil cake but both of the desserts were heavenly. We also got to try some of their homemade chocolate that they brought out to us and those were all delicious as well with different flavors. I hope to come back soon for a pasta making class or cocktail making class or just dinner and drinks. This is probably one of my favorite spots in Jacksonville now!

From the moment we laid eyes on the pastry case, our jaws were on the floor. Everything we had was amazing -- the breakfast sandwich on sourdough, ham & cheese croissant, matcha cheesecake blueberry croissant tart, and the brie country ham & hot honey galette. JUST WOW! We also got some lattes to fuel our morning and I opted for their special brown butter sesame latte -- yum! The bakery itself is very cute with some market and pantry items available to shop as well. The staff was very patient as we asked a million questions about all the pastries before making our selections. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the downtown Jax area!

Yes to all the carbs in this bakehouse!…read more I was in town for a work event and we decided to grab a bite from here since Gabi recommended. It DID NOT disappoint. A cute little spot with a lot of specialized baked goods that will make you want to get one of everything. The service was super friendly and helpful. We ended up getting a few of the baked goods to share for breakfast and I got the matcha lemonade. The lemonade was a good change of pace from my usual matcha latte. To share, we got the matcha cheesecake blueberries danish, the brie country ham and hot honey galette, and a ham and cheese croissant. Everything was delicious and devoured! The inside is also super cute to peruse around and maybe grab something. They have stickers, and a few odds and ends that might interest anyone to get at least one thing. Such a cute bakehouse in Jax!

Neither of us had been to Foo Dog before but we'd both heard good things so it was an easy decision. It turned out to be a great choice! The vibe is very Indiana Jones inside from the decor to the menu itself. They offer different curries from a variety of cuisines plus some small plates that include vegan options (check out the menu pix). I was very tempted by the Butter Curry Over Fries but decided on the House Special Curry with beef. It was delicious with a great depth of flavor to the curry sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by portion size, especially the fact that the rice accounted for less than half of the volume. I was very happy to enjoy my leftovers the next day for lunch.

We both opted for the wild mushroom noodles, always yummy and enough for multiple meals. Unfortunately, the Autumn rolls are now being made with potato sticks, adding too much salt and little flavor. They used to be my favorite but I will be sadly skipping them now. Ordering online with any food delivery app makes it easy and food is made quickly.
