This is such a hidden gem in Glendale. I love it! Came once last Saturday and came back today with another group of friends!!! The foods do look like the photos and do taste just like how you imagine it!

Bulgogi Cheese Fries with Garlic Aioli Sauce. Not o. The menu but it shows up when you order from their kiosk

We were in the area and wanted something warm and comforting. So we found this! Their menu had a lot of variety which naturally caught my eye. Bryan was very hospitable and took good care of us. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen and from their sides I ordered Korean Gang Jung (tender bites) and Bulogogi Cheese Fries with Garlic Aioli Sauce (which is not in their menu, but it does pop up when you order in their kiosk). As always ramen is amazing, but the sides surprised me!!!! Those Bulgogi Cheese fries were so flavorful and the flavor changed with each bite. The tender bites were pretty good too and it was a big portion! Don't skip on the sides when you visit this place! Note: Ten Ramen shares the space with Katsu Bar. If you're searching for this place, look for Katsu Bar.

Found Katsu Bar late at night with my girlfriend and decided to give it a try! We tried their Dill Egg Salad Sando , Yubu Pockets , and their Tteokbokki Cream Katsu Udon. The Dill Egg Salad Sando was great! I loved how creamy the egg was with a slight sweetness from the bread. The Tteokbokki Cream Katsu Udon was good as well! It wasn't too spicy and the udon/ tteokbokki were cooked perfectly. The Katsu was pretty standard. The Yubu Pockets were a little disappointing. I've actually never had them before but it was mostly rice and not a lot of toppings. Flavor was good , I just wish it had more of the toppings we ordered. Service was good , we went pretty late so our food came out pretty fast. Workers seemed nice and friendly too! Ambiance is cool! Just a pretty basic restaurant that is clean with plenty of seating. Overall , would come back again if I'm in the area or crave a late night spot!

I've always liked this place, but my most recent visit left much to be desired. The service is still quick and the staff are nice, but the food quality has gone downhill, likely a sign of hard economic times. Although my pork katsu was cooked properly, it was served over a bed of really dry rice. I only ate it because I was hungry and compensated for the dry rice by doubling up on katsu sauce. I was also disappointed to see that they no longer carry Stubborn corn syrup free soda, just the standard offerings. I'm not quitting this spot yet. I hope things pick up. It's hard to find quick, convenient katsu.

Really great late night spot! After looking around for something warm and comforting following a concert that ended at midnight, this place seemed like worth a shot. Luckily, it was really perfect!. The spot was super clean and calm and the staff that helped outside of the virtual kiosks were super sweet. The tofu soup and katsu were pretty good and solid comforting dishes, which were really great to end the night. Check this spot out if you're looking for a similar experience!

Great place to grab lunch! Took my daughter here as there's a bunch of toddler friendly foods! We ordered on the screen - got the cheese mozzarella sticks, the french fries and chicken wings - soy garlic. Didn't realize that the chicken wings came with fries so we had a lot of fries. Everything was delicious! So many things on the menu I need to try,

i loooove this place so much. i was looking for a spot to eat near here and was craving korean food. the servers were so sweet and helped me pick which dish to get from the large menu. so many good options that i wanna come back to try more. there is a lot of seating and so much to do in the area! cream katsu udon with rice cakes 5/5: genuinely satisfied my craving so much. i love udon and the katsu was a perfect crunch with the sauce. truffle parmesan fries 3.5/5: the fries were honestly undercooked but i just air fried them when i got home and it was delicious. i was craving this udon again the next day but i realized their menu is different in this location compared to their other locations like near el segundo so it didn't have the udon that i got before.

delicious katsu options! my portobello sandwich was so flavorful and crave-worthy. I haven't seen a portobello katsu sandwich on any menu before! and the gravy would be good on anything - just delicious. clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, free parking in the garage.

The place itself is nice and comfortable, though nothing particularly stands out about the ambiance. What really impressed me was the food. Both dishes were packed with flavor, and the katsu was perfectly crispy while staying juicy inside. The noodles were cooked well, and the sauces were rich and satisfying without being overwhelming. Service was good throughout the visit. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out in a timely manner. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food. If you're looking for tasty comfort food with generous portions and good service, this spot is worth checking out.

Creative is always on the menu." Walking into Katsu Bar Glendale, that slogan says it all. From matcha strawberry and dirty matcha that feel like boba-shop drinks, to egg sando, chicken yaki udon, and creative fusion pasta, rice bowls, udon, and tteokbokki -- this place truly delivers creative yet delicious Asian fusion food. You order from a kiosk and seat yourself. The food was brought out to us by a nice staff member. We ordered the cauliflower tempura, tteokbokki cream katsu (chicken) udon, and rose pasta with chicken katsu. We loved how crunchy the katsu was, and the chicken wasn't dry at all. The pastas were flavorful. The cauliflower tempura was crispy but could have used a bit more seasoning. Overall, it's a great place for a quick dine with reasonable prices.

We stopped in for dinner the other night. There is plenty of parking in the parking structure. The restaurant itself is modern and quaint. We got the kimchi dumplings. Nice and crispy on the outside and filled with kimchi on the inside. We made short work of them. We got a shrimp katsu sando. Each sando had 2 pieces of shrimp katsu. They were crispy on the outside and moist, flavorful shrimp on the inside. They also come with a side of waffle fries. We had to get a curry katsu plate. We got chicken katsu that was large and tender. The curry was so good. It was quite filling. We also needed to try the apple chili sandwich. We got it with a pork katsu. The apple chili and pork katasu pair perfectly just like apple sauce and pork chops. And we got a Korean street food omelet sando. The fluffiness of the eggs and the veggies in the omelet work so well with the soft bread. I already need another one! Last but not least we got a strawberry sando. The cream and fresh strawberries go so well with the bread. Perfect way to finish the meal. Service was super friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to get back to try more of the menu.

Great food in a busy area of Glendale. It's housed alongside a Poke Bar and what seems to be a small pasta place. All the food- pork katsu apple sandwich with fries, calamari, chicken katsu curry combo, and wings- was delicious. Juicy, hot, and flavorful (favorite was the sandwich!) The service was okay. We possibly came on a rough day, so I'll give them grace. First, a staff member visibly got upset at us taking time before placing our order (it was our first time, and options are ample between the three restaurant options), then ordered someone "you take their order," and walked off. Later on, our food came out and we noticed we had regular fries with our pork sandwich combo, instead of the seasoned waffle fries shown on the menu. When we spoke up to staff, they simply stated that they ran out of waffle fries. That would've been great to know in advance. Also, we were given an extra order of the katsu curry combo, which confused us at first. However, since we already began eating it, it would've made sense for the staff to let us keep it, right? Instead, they came to our table later and took it away. I get that it was an extra order we hadn't paid for, but why not either let us keep it or take away the one we hadn't touched? Regardless, the food was good and perhaps the service was just off this day. I'd still return.

Great Quick-Service (no waiter) option for decent udon…read more Your boy appreciates a fresh, hand-pulled udon bowl. There's plenty of Marugame Udon locations popping-up, especially near malls. Personally, I was kind of wary of the quality being that these originally opened-up to long lines + much hype. I'm pleasantly surprised that this chain maintains a delicate balance of quality (fresh, hand-pulled Udon) while for going the unnecessary hoopla of waiters, waiting to get your food / pay the tab. This is quick service. For the quality of the Udon, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. FOOD: #1 - Nikutuma Udon - 7.9 / 10 Savory simmered beef + sweet onions + silky soft boiled egg. There signature / most popular udon bowl. The beef is ridiculously thin & most resembles the the sweet simmered beef + onions from the gyūdon bowls at Yoshinoya (which I'm a fan of). Although I personally think that the soft, silky egg could be bigger, it is the best accessory to this warm bowl of deviousness. The udon noodles have a nice, firm chew. The broth is luscious, but delicate. Sweet, but earthy + umami - like an elixir made from long-stewing mushrooms. Gyoza - 6.9 / 10 Nothing particularly amazing. Your basic, potstickers. Nice, crispy, edges round out the soft, tender outer dough. The inner pork filling is decently savory with a hint of garlic + onions. Potato Croquette - 7.0 / 10 Perhaps the most impressive attribute is the size. A very nice crunch + orange color. The inner filling is a very delicate mashed potato that oddly resembles potato salad. Shrimp Tempura - 7.0 / 10 My personal favorite of tempura in-general. That tempura batter is par for the course for tempura - big pockets of air in a light, airy, delicate, crisp outer covering. Not greasy. Sweet Potato Tempura - 7.9 / 10 Very filling for a side. Creamy, sligthly sweet potato interior. Tamagoyaki Tempura - 8.0 / 10 My favorite of their tempura sides. The egg is thick or at least, thicker in texture than what I thought it would be. If I were to come back & only get 1 tempura, it would be this one. I appreciate that they had all of their to-go items, alongside water, sauces (including their sweet tempura dipping sauce) off to the side. Make sure to bust your tray by bringing it to the bussing station next to the check-out / pay register. Some tables could use a wipe down cleaning, but an otherwise decent place.

Located inside the Glendale Galleria, adjacent to the food court, this is a great fast-casual option that definitely doesn't feel like your typical food court fare. Service was a little lacking during our visit, but the food mostly made up for it. The tempura was probably our least favorite part. The skewers we tried were pretty oily, which seemed like the frying oil may have been at too low a temperature. Definitely not the light, delicate tempura we experienced in Japan. Overall, though, the udon was the star and made it well worth the stop.

It is very cute and made our wait more enjoyable. The bogo was only for the beef pepper rice so that's what we all ordered. We were seated outside since we were a larger group but it was nice and not too hot. The food was served ten minutes after we sat down which was super fast. We had to go inside to grab the garlic sauce ourselves since they don't put them on the outside tables. The water was also self-serve. I enjoyed the beef pepper rice but there was significantly less beef than I believe would be if it wasn't bogo. But the beef quality is good and tasted great mixed on the hot stone pot and with the rice, corn and garlic sauce. Overall, it was a great experience with fast service and delicious food. It would have been a bit better with more beef but still very good.
