I was super impressed with how thorough she was. Not only did we go through family history and medical history/ blood tests etc she made me a personalized supplement plan to hopefully address the problem. We finished the visit by looking at my scalp with a microscope (which was wild) so she could further assess my issue. A really nice touch was she took notes for me and send me a subsequent, follow up email w everything we discussed so I could be super present during the appointment. I was very clear with the receptionist about what I needed when I scheduled the appointment. I arrived a few minutes early and was told Emma was running half an hour late. When she finally came to fetch me she asked me what she could do for me. I told her. She said, "I don't cut short hair. My specialty is long hair." What kind of stylist can't cut short hair? She agreed to color it and tried to book me for the following week for a trim - with another stylist. I don't want to wait another week for a trim! The color she put on my hair was so dark it's almost black and does not match the color I already had. Guess I will have to start all over again from scratch. It's so very, very upsetting and disappointing.

For my birthday, I decided to treat myself and see what all the fuss was about. Chloe squeezed me into her packed schedule to make sure I was set for my special day. For my first set, I got purple/pink lashes, and they were fabulous! Chloe was incredibly gentle, and I finally understood how my friends said they fell asleep when they got their lashes done. I didn't think I would have the patience to keep coming back for fills, but the results were too good to stop. When I went back, Chloe added UV colors, making my lashes even more fun and colorful. After going through some life stressors, I scheduled my first facial with Chloe, and OMG! It was like her fingers were doing a choreographed dance on my face as she cleansed my skin and rubbed in different. It was so relaxing, and I left glowing! When we were done, she reviewed the face products I use at home and gave recommendations on what to use and how often. Each time I went into Chloe's "office," I laid down on a heated & padded table; she offered knee and back support pillows, a cozy blanket, and the audio of my choice. She also offered the salon's drink of the month when we were done. Chloe is patient, kind, professional, and she really knows what she's doing. I'm so happy to have found her!

Kia is a Vivid Hair Specialist who has transformed my hair from its natural brown to teal, then pink with extensions, and now purple with a silver money piece! She's super sweet, and she's always been very realistic with me about what kind of maintenance certain colors or cuts need. (Despite how it may seem, I like low maintenance even though I still want fun colors.) For the time and service she provides, her rates are very reasonable. I've looked forward to every visit with her, and I feel like my self-confidence has grown not just because of my beautiful hair but also because of her positive and empowering outlook! Ariel is an amazing nail artist! I was never one to get my nails done regularly (low maintenance, like I wrote), but when I was getting my hair done, I'd see Kia's nails (always done by Ariel), and they were literally fantastic. So I gave it a whirl and got some fancy nails for a business trip. And then I asked for some fun nails for a wedding. The more I visited the salon, the more I enjoyed the ladies that worked there and the energy that I felt, and the more I wanted to come back. Now I come every 4 weeks for Ariel to do my nails. Each time I come with an idea or inspiration from Instagram, and Ariel makes magic. She's a true artist! I've never had her repeat a design in the nearly 2 years I've been going, and she's never once told me she wasn't capable of doing something I asked for. Even when I've arrived late (more often than I care to admit), she's been wonderfully kind and patient with me. Between these two wonderful ladies, I feel more beautiful and feminine than ever. I truly feel like they're my friends, and I'm so grateful to have found them and that I get to benefit from their expertise.
