Then I had to come back two days later because I noticed my highlights were not close to my scalp. It looked like I had regrowth already. It was almost an inch in some places. I went back to get it fixed and it was extremely awkward. She barely said a word to me and I left with still regrowth. When I pulls hair up you can see almost an inch of regrowth still! I had been looking for a salon to do my hair and 4 bridesmaids, my moms and the flower girls hair for my upcoming wedding. She had known this before she ever highlighted my hair. I would have thought she would make sure my hair was correctly done. Overall I'm pretty disappointed. It could have been an opportunity to win new over new clients but instead i left with a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they read the reviews and take something away from it. In an industry that's all about word of mouth every experience counts.

The beautician only opens her books once a month for bookings. On the 20th of each month, many a diva clammer to snag an appointment. The appointments book up quick; however, I was lucky enough to be able to get an appointment in July. This humidity wreaks havoc on my natural hair and my strands try to pull off a style that only Diana Ross can! Luckily, my co-worker gave me very specific instructions on how to get to the shop. If you follow the GPS, it'll say that you've arrived, and I was like, "Arrived where?" You go up into a strip mall. It's the same strip mall where Mr. Crab is. Actually, it's right next door almost to Mr. Crab. I was offered a bottle of water, soda, or champagne. I went for the water, but maybe next time, I'll go for some bubbly. My treatment started off with a luxurious steaming then a wash. After being steamed, washed, and conditioned, my hair felt so soft. Then the straightening treatment. I don't know how she did it, but my hair was sooooo straight and silky after she was done. I was almost convinced that I was wearing a wig. It was so soft, silky and manageable. The stylist was both professional and engaging and the silk press lasted for weeks. I can't wait to go again!
