    Corn Corned Beef Hash'n Eggs
    Tay J.

Katy's Korner is a super cute local diner that is super popular for breakfast and brunch. My friend who grew up in the area highly recommended it so we went to try it on a Sunday morning around 10. Every table was full! And we waited about 5 minutes. Every one is hustling and bustling around and the walls are covered in decor. Not only is it a cutely decorated place but the food was also so yummy! My corn beef hash came out great and I asked for extra crispy potatoes.

This was salty, dark brown gravy. Not even the proper gravy for biscuits. The biscuit looked more like an English muffin. Horrible.

This is a hard review. Ive come here for YEARS and have felt a serious deterioration in the quality of food over time. The quality has diminished and the prices have gone up. I usually dont go out for breakfast, especially when I can make it at home for a fraction of the cost. I just left a doctor's appointment and settled here. I ordered hot tea and asked for almond milk and was told they dont carry it for tea or coffee. So odd. Then I ordered the biscuits and gravy plate. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I included a picture to give you a visual of what I was served. They gave me a lot of eggs and potatoes. The eggs had no salt or pepper, the potatoes had too much. The "biscuits" were literally ONE BISCUIT and it was the size of a "biscuit" you would get at Popeyes or KFC. I swear to you. The gravy, wasnt even breakfast gravy. It was gravy they serve with mashed potatoes. It was dark brown gravy that was EXTREMELY salty. I paid $18.99 for this biscuits and gravy meal. I 100% should've gone to Black Bear Diner. I could have gotten a waaaaay better meal for much less. I cannot in good conscience recommend this breakfast to another person. Also, its super dark inside. I should've sat outside but it was too cold. The service was friendly enough. But I was there for the food. That is why it got this rating. The food quality was below average. Please look at the picture for context.

It's a cute breakfast place for us to go to. It's right on the corner of a shopping strip. Parking is special- it's a busy area . There is parking - you may have to park a few spots away. Inside and outside seating. We like to sit outside and enjoy coffee and breakfast in the mornings . I like their menu. There is something for everyone . I like the omelette and the staff is really nice . Very helpful and your coffee is always full. I like the walk up ramp in the side - everyone is welcome on the deck outside - I like that they go the next level to help my mom who walks with a cane and can't do steps .. this warms my heart -

I ordered the Katy's Eggs Benedict. Not only was the portion small, all poached eggs were over cooked. And there was barely any Hollandaise sauce. Very disappointed.

7/10 Biscuits and gravy - may have read the menu wrong but I expected multiple biscuits, not one. The gravy was good, but nothing to write home to. Eggs were cooked well and they give you lots of crispy bacon!! Benedict was delicious. The potatoes are cooked and seasoned well and the hollandaise sauce is great! I will be back to try more things on the menu! Service is great and staff is very nice.

Food was ok but wayyyy to expensive for how it was. They only accept cash!! So beware! The ambiance was ok and there was a lot of space. There are many better places in carmel to have a meal.

This place is great to have breakfast any day of the week. We came on a Saturday morning and were immediately greeted and sat right away. The menu was very big but the crab omelette caught my eye. The portion size was huge and came with toast and delicious potatoes. My son ordered the steak and eggs and he cleaned his plate right up. It was really busy but the staff were very attentive. The ambiance was cute and cozy with quirky signs on the wall. I can't wait to try more items next time.

Stopped in to share a quick bite and we enjoyed the classic eggs Benedict. I typically prefer to have the Florentine but this did the job, the English muffin was nice and soft, egg lady perfectly poached, with that golden yolk oozing out as I cut into it, and the sliced ham and hollandaise sauce added the perfect touch. The pancakes were aesthetically pleasing, reminded me those IG stories of the Japanese soufflé pancakes...but the taste was okay, nothing to rave about, it's a pancake! The staff are friendly, cooks are quick, and ambiance is quaint. Stop in if you're in the area.

First time here and no regret! We usually have breakfast around the area while waiting for my Kaiser morning appointment. So far, this place is the best we've tried! Less greasy, hearty, comforting. We actually want to go back an hour later! Plus point - they allow dogs outdoor too! They're nice and made sure we enjoyed the food.

They have quirky and fun signs decorating the inside.

Yea you want to come here. They have a full breakfast and lunch menu. The food is heavy and a lot. Come with an appetite. The service is the home feeling you get. Friendly fast and very very hospitable. The inside is warm with every inch of the place decorated with warm and feel good feeling. It's a great place to have coffee and slow down. Read a book, check emails, or write a Yelp review.

Came here for Father's Day! We were seated right away. The host was a little eccentric, seemed annoyed to seat us. He was older man and Threw our menus down and didn't even crack a smile. The service was quick and fast. Our food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. I got the crab Benedict which had fresh lump crab meat and a delicious hollandaise sauce with fresh country potatoes on the side. It was pricey but A good portion. My brother ordered the corned beef and hash and said it was just okay. My dad ordered the omelette and was pretty standard. Overall we probably won't be back based on the high prices and average food.

The bun was a decent size to hold everything, but a little too much bread. The American cheese was standard quality, thin but melts well with the heat of the dog. All the toppings were fresh (Lettuce, Tomato, Diced Onions, Pickle Spear). I think the lettuce isn't needed, I'll skip that next time. The Bacon Bits are fresh made good quality smoked bacon, decent size cut, good stuff. The Yum Yum Sauce is their secret sauce, but it was very light and I didn't notice the flavor that much. I assume it is a mayo and paprika based with other spices, not sure. Maybe I'll order on the side next time. The fries are decent restaurant quality, the kind that has a coating of potatoe flour to give some extra texture and crunch, served hot. I think they fry them fresh for the order, nice touch! Raspberry lemonade (min bottle simply company) it was decent, nothing special. Until next time...

We started with the Crispy Cauliflower, coated with tempura batter and served with lemon aioli; Roasted Brussels Sprouts, topped with chili flakes & Parmesan and served in a cast iron skillet; and the Hummus, topped with Pepitas and served with thin, crispy parm'd pizza bread. The Chopped Kale Salad came with apple, radish, carrot, cotija, and Pepitas, all tossed in a tangy pomegranate vinaigrette; and the Chickpea Salad also had a base of kale topped with chickpeas, roasted sweet potato/carrot, and charred halloumi, and dressed with herbed pesto. The highlight of the menu was their creative pizzas, which you could order either on a thin, crispy Neapolitan crust, or on a thick, soft, square-shaped Detroit-style base with crispy baked cheese edges. The Fun Guy came with porcini cream, mushroom, onion, goat cheese, and pecorino; and the Hail Mary came with beer braised chicken, caramelized onion, cotija, garlic, and Calabrian chili oil, which gave the pizza a flavorful spicy kick. Self-depreciation joke aside, let get straight into this review. My wife and I were looking for a place for lunch and wanted something on the lighter side. Life is about balance and I certainly cant always have fries and cheeseburgers. I mean, I could but I'd pay the price. I didnt feel like I was making any big sacrifices with the steak sandwich. It wasn't heavy like a cheesesteak would be and I was satiated. What I didnt expect, however, was enjoying the salad more than the steak and bacon sandwich. Excuse my english but Holy Shitballs, this was a very tasty salad and everything tasted so fresh. Salads are supposed to taste fresh so, you can tell I dont eat salads very much by the way I am describing it but man, I could eat this salad multiple times a week! The only reason I am giving a 4 out of 5 stars though is because one this location can be a pain to find in San Ramon as it is kind of hidden. And two, there were times when we got our food when we ordered take out and the fries were either a bit soggy or cold. Leaving us a bit concerned about how long it was sitting out for before we picked it up. Also means the fries could be cooked a bit longer to give them a more crispy texture.
