The other Yelp users were correct. I've never had a soy egg before with my Ramen and it was really good. I loved my dinner and the Hubs loved his. He got the pepper beef and it was very good. The service was really good. They are very nice and friendly. The restroom was clean. We ended up at a big table and they asked if they could seat someone at the other end. We ended up talking to a man who was awesome. We're looking forward to our next dinner there when we return to Manteca.

I called in my order right when they opened at 11 AM and picked it up about 15-20 minutes later, so it should have been fresh. But when I got home--only about 10 minutes away--the food was already cold and didn't taste freshly cooked. The BBQ chicken was dry and hard, and the BBQ beef was tough with very little juiciness. It was surprising because this isn't how it usually is at other locations. I'm not sure if they have a new cook or if something has changed, but the quality just didn't match what I've gotten before. It honestly felt like the food had been sitting for a while, which was disappointing considering I ordered right when they opened. I hate to say it, but for this visit I have to give it 3 out of 5 stars. Hopefully this was just an off day, and I'll update my review if things improve on my next visit.

Marisa went above and beyond to assist me. She took the time to understand the situation and helped me get a refund for the order, even though it had been placed at a different location. Her professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. Outstanding customer service like this is rare, and Marisa truly deserves recognition. Thank you for your patience and dedication to helping customers. I'll definitely continue supporting the Manteca location anytime I'm in town because of service like this!
