Love me some filipino food, but this didnt cut it. They had items on their menu that weren't available. We ordered quite a few items, and were extremely disappointed. With all the food all we could taste was grease. Ordered pork sinigan, but instead of actual pork meat, it was ALL pork fat. This made the broth even more greasy and oily with a lack of flavor. The foods didnt have great taste. Looks like they make it fresh but doesnt taste fresh, you could definitely tell the difference with how much oil masks the real flavors. Even the turon was pretty disappointing. It was one of the better items that we got but still disappointing because you can taste the oil more than sweetness/caramelized taste. Other than that, the inside is small. Not much area for multiple people wanted to dine in. The building itself is small and has a small parking lot. Best option for veggie lumpia in Lathrop! I went around 10am, and ordered the tocilog, veggie lumpia, and pinakbet. It is deli-style Filipino food, so service was fast. I haven't tried everything on their menu, but I will likely order party trays in the future! They are located next to a gas station so parking is limited. I suggest getting there in the morning or mid morning if you want first pick of things. read more

My go to quick food pick up when I've got nothing to cook for lunch and dinner. I have also ordered party trays here and let me tell you, they are delish! I used to drive to Stockton to get my Turon amd when I found out they have some here they became my go to big order of Turon esp during family gathering. Every Fridays and Saturday they offer Goat Kaldereta. Now I don't eat goat, but my hubs loved it. I also tried their Laing (Taro leaves in coconut milk) and I cleaned plate with it. I am very picky with my Laing esp when I grew up eating my Lola's cooking (She's Bicolana) and theirs were actually tasty. Definitely will get a bigger order next time they have it again. Friendly Titas serving you quick and tasty food. Calling in to put in party tray orders were also prompt and have it ready for you fresh and yummy every pick up. I'm not a Filipino food expert, but the couple who own the house where I live enjoy it so much. He went from The Philippines to Hawai'i when he was just a child. We were going to Aki's but that place is closed on Monday. I saw this place and we went the extra 4+ miles. The lady of the house wanted pigs' feet and rice. They didn't have those. The man of the house looked at the display that didn't look as if anyone cared, and he requested three different items. I ordered some lumpia and I was told that it would take five minutes. I certainly wanted them freshly cooked. He also requested the banana dessert. We took everything home in the plastic bags provided. The foam containers had lids but the counter person put Saran Wrap on them to keep them sealed tightly. They were still good by the team we arrived home but the banana dessert had the bag oily and the lumpia were working on making the other bag oily. I tried the lumpia and they only seemed to have meat and the wrapper. I expected some cabbage, onion, and less meat. They weren't as good as any I've ever had. The couple tried the food and they were not impressed. It was sufficient, and after she looked over the menu, she thought that they needed more variety. They had about the same number of items in the case that Super King Food Center in Stockton do, but the food didn't look fresh, probably because it was cooked before lunch and it was almost 3 p.m. Certainly, if you've been to Seafood City's deli, you know that it always looks good and there are many items. Happy that there is a Filipino restaurant close by. Heard from friend/family that this place has good food. We decided to get a few items from here and sure enough, the food is delicious. Peak time is during lunch. They offer Filipino breakfast in the morning. But if your looking to get food around around 4pm, they don't really have that much left. Had the chance to only order veggie lumpia and turon. If I were to base my visit off of just those two, this place definitely deserves a 5/5! Turon was crispy and fried perfectly. I said hi to the lady who was helping me three times and she ignored it so finally I said hi and I waved because I wasn't going to get past the high and she finally said hi then I asked did she have beef Lumpia she said no, pork and vegetable so then the guy who was cooking who was staring at me the whole time I was talking to her. They have the best goat kilawin which is only available on Friday and Saturday so make sure to order ahead. You can't go wrong with anything here....Fried tilapia, chicken skewers, dinuguan, pinakbet, buko pandan, lumpia, turon, garlic peanuts....EVERYTHING is delicious! Decided to get a large cup of pancit due to a party tray costing $50. Was able to grab some bbq chicken and pork skewered that they had available. Food was good. First time here in this Filipino restaurant. It's a tiny place, the food is kinda tacky not very presentable. Take a look at the longsilog which is a Filipino sausage which is on a sweeter side compare to other type of sausage. Every food is in a tinier side than normal. As you'll see in the picture,the egg is really tiny, which I've never seen it that tiny. The Turon ( fried banana) is also tiny but the wrapper is large, so you'll think you're getting a big piece of banana inside. In reality the banana is like a little smaller than a quarter of a whole banana wrapped in a big wrapper, most Turon has at least half of the banana and jack fruit but theirs don't have jack fruit. Lumpia Shanghai is also really tinier than most and not much fillings. read more

Hmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about this place. My partner went to pick up some fried rice and bbq chicken and pork at around 3pm and they were sold out so we got whatever they still had. The service was great, the pancit was good, the coconut pork was good but I didn't really care for the curry or menudo. I don't think I'd order those again but I'm curious to try the garlic rice and bbq chicken and pork. Hopefully someday I'll be able to update my review but for now it wasn't my thing. read more

Compared to other Filipino food in the area, their food tastes better. I noticed that they have improved the quality a little. However, there are a lot of hard/tough hair on fried pork belly skin, pork sinigang and pork adobo. These are supposed to be removed as they are not edible. read more
