Idk why this place has so many low reviews lol it was very fun and had alot of choices and it wasn't too expensive. We're not that great with claws maybe average and we won 5 toys and just spent $20. Way cheaper than a fair lol and the employees were super sweet to adjust the machines if we asked or if we wanted to trade a toy from the same machine if we wanted another one. I really liked it here and it's worth a shot if you're at the mall! Highly recommend! My kids had so much fun! Thanks!!

You Rock! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the employee who was working today, Thursday, January 22, 2026, around noon. I brought my daughter in, and unfortunately I didn't catch the employee's name, but she was absolutely outstanding in every possible way. She patiently answered all of my questions and took the time to explain how the machines work, how we can trade prizes within the same machine if we like something else, and how trade-ins work for the larger prizes. She even helped stack items in the claw machines to make it easier for my daughter to play and win. I loaded $50 onto our game card, and thanks to her help and encouragement, my daughter had an amazing experience. She was so excited and proud that she was able to win enough prizes to trade in for a big one. Seeing her that happy meant everything to me. We've visited a few times in the past, and no one has ever gone out of their way to help us like this employee did today. She truly went above and beyond, and I hope her manager and leadership team see this message because she deserves recognition. She made our visit memorable and special, and her customer service was phenomenal. Thank you again to whoever was working today, you made my daughter's day and turned a regular visit into an unforgettable experience.

I believe I've been to the Riverside Kawaii Klaws over a dozen times at this point, just in the past year. Because of this, I fear my review will be lengthy but I hope it's helpful for some because overall, I love this place: The store is well-maintained, clean, and has a fun energy. The staff are always welcoming and helpful if needed, and mention any promotions going on. There's a decent number of machines; not a ton but also not too few. Every time I've visited, I've found at least 1-3 machines I wanted to play (sometimes it's nearly all which makes choosing impossible)! A new card is a $2 fee but can be reloaded as many times over, and it's the way to save prizes to your account for their trade-up system. I've kept so many plushies from playing, but I also recently traded up for the first time, and I love the concept. Every time I visit, I can have fun playing, winning a few prizes, and consider adding it to the "bank" or taking home with me. My fiancé and I stop by and usually spend $20-40. We start with $20 first and a few times we were super lucky and walked away with 5-6 prizes. Other times we come up empty-handed, and try another $20 just because that's the lowest loaded amount with bonus credits. Often times, we never spend the full $40 and will save it for our next visit. I've visited on busy weekend nights and random weekdays shortly after open and have found both luck and unlucky visits. Time of day/week doesn't really matter in my opinion, sometimes it's just about machines being close to payout or weight/size/material of the plush. Regardless, the staff are super helpful if you request a reposition of the machine that almost guarantees a win. In terms of selection, I liked what was available closer to when the store opened. Lots of Sanrio, Disney, Pokemon - unlicensed, but the quality is pretty good. Nowadays it's more unbranded plush like capybaras, veggies, animals, etc. They're still very cute, but I'd personally prefer a mix of both. Overall, I enjoy my time every visit I've made so far, and I think it's worth checking out if claws are your thing. It's the perfect middle-ground in my book, and my favorite spot to go to!

We love this place. It's never too crowded and the kids love the stuffed animals they win. The attendants are super helpful when you need them. They usually stock Hello Kitty and Friends and sometimes have Pokémon and Disney. Each play is only $1 which is a good value as you can easily win every few tries and being able to trade up to large ones is fun.

i love playing claw machine games and kawaii klaws has quickly become my favorite chain to go to! ive been to many locations and am so happy that a location close to UCR opened. this location uses a game card, which is different than the other locations i've been to. the game card costs $2. the staff was very kind and accommodating. you can trade within the same machine and ask for a reposition. the claws were pretty strong. the selection varied, there were sanrio, pokemon, disney, etc. very fun activity, i will definitely be back.

Look at all the X-Large plushies!!!!

First timer here and I must say it's pretty fun. The Service 10/5, they explained how it works and gave me a few tips. Selection of plushies is superb they have kirby, pikachu, kaws, and you can trade up! 5/5 for the plushies and trading up. Pricing is fair, we won about 15 plushies spent about $20 bucks lasted about an hour -- definitely will come back to get the bigger plushies!!

They also have a few small claw machines. Overall a great variety of items to choose from. Prices are very fair for both tokens and merchandise; they're definitely comparable to or slightly cheaper than bigger stores. They also have a trade section for blind buys and a fun game to try for more prizes if you turn in your empty capsules! Plenty of parking in their shared public lot. Very chill ambiance - not too overstimulating but definitely a fun vibe to shop around in. I adore how the owner has decked out the store. My family and I had the best time here. 1000/10 recommend!

We came half an hour before closing, and decided to take a little walk around the shop. The exterior is brightly lit with captivating lights and the machines itself are blinking at you, asking you to spend your money! The prices were consistent and decently priced. Since we were window shopping, we didn't ask for any support but a couple next to us did. The person at the register was very friendly and had wonderful energy! If you're finding a specific toy, this place is sure to have it. I didn't end up purchasing anything tonight since I came from the POP MART in Costa Mesa, but I know where to go when I need to!

I rearranged my schedule and made time to come back based on what your staff told me. When I arrived today, I was told they still weren't out yet. When I asked if there was anything they could do since I was specifically instructed to come back at that time, the employee at the front basically acted indifferent and just said there was nothing they could do. I've been in retail for years, and entering inventory into a system is not some massive impossible task. This honestly came across as laziness and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Don't tell customers to come back at a specific time if you're not actually prepared to follow through. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.

I walked in and instantly fell in love with your eclectic, crowded, ever-changing-yet-never-changing soul. Enough pouring my heart out--here you can find so many unique items that you simply don't see other places. They were one of the first stores to carry Jellycats, along with so many other wonderful things. It's a wonderful place to visit around Christmas because they have so many unique decorations and home items, along with thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for people. My daughter and I are frequent visitors, and it has become a beloved tradition that we always stop in whenever we're downtown. The ladies who work here are simply wonderful and incredibly helpful. I have nothing but praise for them and their kind, helpful ways.

The store is beautiful. Lots of souvenirs and antiques that you can find. Theres probably something for everyone you want to gift -- theres greeting cards, tea sets, animal statues, rings and necklaces, soap bars and ones dispensers, and other trinkets Normally I dont post about my dislike of being obviously followed in a store, but now it's my turn. I technically shouldnt be salty since I had always been law-abiding, but today was a very surprising one! You can tell based on my pfp that I tend to dress nicely, almost old money or New Yorker style. I was the best dressed of my crew that day, and we were still followed -- and not even in a professional way lol, the person was not slick Cant tell if they were a lady or dude but it was almost certain that they were related to the old ladies working at the store. This person tailed my friends and I wherever we went, to the point of blatantly blocking the already narrow aisles and standing behind people with their arms crossed. I go to Ross Dress for Less a lot and am used to security, of course -- but blocking paths and colliding into people is where I draw the line. And where I start posting a review Come here for trinkets and stuff. But get ready to pay for slightly expensive goods -- it's to pay for the security kid who blocks your path
