I've been a regular for about 2-3 years now and I have not let up on visiting here regularly. The service at the bar is always awesome! All the staff are nothing but friendly. Much respect to security. The many choices of things to order at the bar are just as plentiful as all the arcades they have to offer. From pinball machines, to retro arcades, to the classic ski-ball and air hockey... they have just about everything! Even Street Fighter II and classic Mario Bros! Too much to name! We were greeted by energetic staff who asked us which package we would take. Naturally the 24 hole golf is included and decided on the escape room option. There are two options, one alien themed and the other pirate themed. We went with the Alien 51 themed one since the pirate one was in use. After a short video we had a 10 minute time limit to solve the puzzle. It's quite straight forward but quite a thinker at times. We were able to solve it with little time to spare. Me and my friend had a great time figuring it out and will gladly return to see the other offering down the line. Onto the main course, the mini golf! The courses are laid out in a way that guides you along each hour in order. Each course has its own theme ranging from a Dia de Los Muertos themed one to one with the great wall of China serving as a ramp. It was definitely a vibe and we had a blast. Some holes scale up in difficulty while others are quite straight forward. Overall this was a great time and excellent way to spend time together with a friend.

If you're big on crossovers, Round One is constantly partnering with big names like Holo Live and other anime brands/titles. Sanrio is another major contributor, some plushies and prizes are even exclusive to Round One! I spotted cups, keychains, and much more. Now, Round One also offers bowling, karaoke, 99 cent ice cream, and arcade games. Thankfully, I went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't bad at all. No one was hogging up the activities and people were civil. I thought the experience was quite calming and sobering. For example, it was weird seeing an entire wall of Kuroko figures (nevermind that no one has talked about Kuroko in over a literal decade and a half...), but ONLY Murasakibara, like, what? Note that there is security at the entrance and they will check your pockets and bags. I do like that they do this, it's probably just to make sure you're not sneaking food in but I felt safer walking around since the place is open late at night. It was extremely hot and humid inside and it smelled musty. I circled around to check out the selection but ended up leaving in 15 minutes because I couldn't find anything I wanted. Nothing about this place feels affordable anymore for local families. What makes it worse is that a lot of the rides still aren't even fixed, so it's hard to understand why prices went up so much in the first place. Castle Park used to be a fun, local spot where families could bring their kids without spending a fortune. That feeling is gone now. The new ownership seriously needs to listen to the community and remember the people who supported this place for years. Right now it just feels overpriced, disappointing, and nothing like the Castle Park people grew up loving.

My personal favorite is the Dance Dance Revolution game but there are so many to pick from including a room where you can play board games! -It is very affordable and basically perfect for a date night or night out with friends. You really lose track of time while playing all the games. It is ten dollars for an hour and 20 dollars for an all day pass. There are also snacks and drinks in a vending machine which are also pretty cheap 1-1.50 dollars! -The owners are very sweet and recognized us even after we had only gone a few times. -It is super clean and nicely decorated! It definitely reminds me of my own childhood arcades. The bathroom is also always very clean which is a major plus for me. Overall, it is a great place to go to with friends or with your partner!
