Last summer, July 2021 was the first time I came to this Kay. I needed two rings soldered together so I shipped them off and was told a two week turn around. Two weeks comes and no one communicates with me. I check the tracking number and it says my rings are still at repair but I call the store anyway. One of my rings had been returned a week prior and I was never notified. I went to pick it up and asked about my second ring and it was as if it had gone missing. Long story short, I didn't get that second ring back for almost another two weeks and I had to go in store multiple times to follow up because they did not answer their phone. Well fast forward to March 2023, I was going to give the shop one more chance. I needed a repair on one of my rings so I kept the other at home and brought it in. I was told it will be available 4/3 for pick up. Called 4/3, my tracking showed my ring was in transit back to shop and nothing from the shop. I called over a dozen times from two cell phones and no answer over a three day period. Finally I walked into store 4/5 and they told me my ring had been delivered but they couldn't give it to me. I said I was not leaving until I got that ring. To top it off, while there I spoke with another angry customer who was getting married in two months, had an email verifying her rings had arrived and the shop tried to tell her they didn't have them. She told me her experience was similar to mine and funny enough when she stood up for herself the man walked into the back and found an unmarked box with her rings. Will make the extra drive next time to Murfreesboro or Hendersonville. I recommend all interested customers to do the same. read more

I understand that Covid is a thing but they should update their hours online. I drove all the way from Murfreesboro to Mount Juliet because it said they closed at 7 pm. When I arrived, turns out they closed at 6 and had their temporary hours posted on a hand written note. This is the 3rd time I have attempted to come to this store to see an engagement ring and they were closed. I have also called numerous times and they never answer during supposedly normal business hours. I'm officially fed up with Kay and I'm not even an actual customer yet and I'm fed up with ALL stores changing their hours. Changing your hours to be open less just makes it harder on those of us who have to work NORMAL HOURS and cannot make it during your stupid shorter business hours!!! After searching for an engagement ring, my son thought he found the perfect ring at this store. WRONG!!! A jeweler who travels to Kay Jewelers nationally was there the day my son bought the ring. He assured my son that the ring could be sized down two sizes at no cost. When my son proposed, his fiancé needed the ring sized from a 6 to a 4. When she went into Kays, she was told that they would not size the ring because it was purchased from THEIR traveling jeweler. They brought it to another Nashville area Kay Jewelry and were told the same. Both stores refused to offer any solution to these kids. Additionally, my son asked that no promotional mail would be mailed to the home he shares with his fiancé as the ring was supposed to be a surprise. Immediately after the purchase, he was hammered from Kay's marketing with flyers that read, Thank you for your purchase". What is wrong with these people??? STAY AWAY!!!!!! read more

My fiance and I recently went to Kay Jewelers in Providence Marketplace on a Sunday afternoon. We wanted to get his finger sized and look at some of their men's wedding bands. Since it is close to our house and open on Sunday, we thought it would be a good place to start. Boy, were we wrong! When we entered the store, we were not greeted whatsoever. We were not even acknowledged! Neither of the sales associates looked at us, smiled, said hello -- NOTHING! They were each working with a customer so we patiently looked around the store. This continued for a good 15 minutes. Neither of them said a word to us! Not so much as a , "We'll be with you in a few minutes" or "Sorry for your wait." No words whatsoever. Another couple entered the store after us and they were promptly ignored as well! After 20 minutes, I asked one of the sales associates if we could see a ring sizer because we were going to return another day when they weren't as busy. The salesman seemed appalled that I actually spoke to him while we was showing another customer rings! He said, in the rudest tone you could imagine, "Ma'am, please have some patience! I am with another customer. You'll have to wait." My jaw about hit the floor!! Have some patience?! Really?? It was as if he had not noticed that we patiently waited for 20 minutes without even be ackowledged! I think it was the first time in my life that I was at a total loss for words. I could not even fathom that he would speak to a customer in such a manner! I will never return to this location. I also made it a point to call the following day and talk to the manager about the experience I had. If you want to be ignored and treated with disrespect, it appears this is the place to go. if i could give this place zero stars, i would, but a'las, yelp makes you give each place at least one star, lucky for this kay jewelers. i had original intentions of going into american jewelry co to get a watch resized and my wedding set cleaned, but aj closed early...while i was walking back to my car from the closed aj doors, another car pulled up and the woman asked if they were closed, i affirmed this, and said, "i'm going to kay's" she asked me if there was another place that sold pandora and i told her i believed kay's did and pointed her in the direction it was (the next plaza strip over). she got there and walked in as i was pulling up. no problem, right? anyhow, she isn't the problem. the problem came when i walked in and stood in between the middle two cases, waiting to be at least greeted, since both workers were with other people (one of which i had just sent them!) nothing. like the review from last year, no one looked up at me, said nothing, not a: "hi! welcome, we'll be right with you"...and then they continue on helping their customers (i would have welcomed that, i would have delighted in being acknowledged and have them then continue to help their customer, absolutely!). i stood there, watch box in hand, for 5 minutes, nothing. no one even looked up at me and nodded. i then began walking to the door, did they get the hint? no, they didn't care. at that time, the employee nearest the door i was exiting should have at least said, "oh! i'm sorry, i'll be right with you if you stay for just a few minutes!", i would have obliged, and waited. nope, i just walked out, without them even noticing. i'm pretty pale, but i'm not ghostly pale. i'm not an apparition. i'm not thin enough to be invisible, i'm not unknowingly dead and living in a sixth sense world, where no one sees me but me and a weird 8 year old....so i can't really figure out why this would happen. i mean, it's Kay's! not an elitist harry winston, tiffany (i would have accepted a snubbing from there (i'm a realist), it's kay's! a walmart version of a jewelry store. and it's mt. juliet! i mean, there is no reason for these people to be too proud or elite to at least greet me and tell me to hold on. there's nothing so magnificent about kay jewelers to make me want to wait unnoticed for this long (or longer!) just for a service any jewelry place can provide. and, if i did want to purchase jewelry, i'd go somewhere else anyway, there are lots of other local jewelry stores with nicer pieces. read more

We have had a good experience with Kay in Mount Juliet, for the most part. We went there to browse wedding bands, and we ended up choosing two. Mine needed to get sized, which took about two weeks. When I got it back, it didn't quite fit. I couldn't figure out why, and they recommended that I drive to Rivergate to get it stretched a half size because they didn't have a stretcher. I ended up not having time to do that, so when I went back a week or two later, I asked them if I could just look at a ring that was thinner. They ended up helping me get it figured out without any questions. The people are nice enough here - pretty low key and don't seem showy or pushy. read more

This place is pathetic you would think their corporate office would do something but they are just as useless as the store I like all the other reviews was left waiting for 20 without a greet as in "hello"ill be right with you" not anything and I paid cash for my jewelry and went to return it I was told they didn't have the cash on hand to refund my piece I would have to wait 7 to 10 on a check when the refund was a result of a family emergency that occurred over Christmas this is the worst place top to bottom the only thing I recommend is that you don't go read more

Customer service sucks ~my wedding ring has lost so many stones ~they are supposed to be replacing my ring with a new one but 4 weeks later I'm still waiting ~my husband went to the store in Mt Juliet yesterday and was treated badly by the employees ~they could care less ~we are so thru with them ~unfortunately we didn't read all the bad reviews until after the fact ~Please don't use Kay jewelry guys ~bad bad service ~and obviously they don't know what they are doing in the repair department 4/stones replaced so far in my wedding ring maybe 5~i have honestly lost count on the repairs ~the employees have no customer service skills are rude but the biggie is they really don't care ~they don't deserve one star but on yelp you have to give them one to post fyi read more

Be very wary of them even if your a well established customer. They use bate and switch tactics and check the website before you buy in store. They seem to charge one price online and different in the store. read more

These negative reviews are completely inaccurate! I have never left a review for a company online but after multiple experiences with this Kay Jewelers I felt obligated to leave a review. I went in to buy an engagement ring for my future fiancé last May (2015). I was greeted when I walked in, I was approached by several employees trying to help me, and for once I did not feel pushed outside of my comfort zone or budget. I had an even better experience when my fiancé and I returned last week to buy our wedding rings for the wedding in May. Once again we were treated respectfully and professionally from beginning to end and it was by two different employees (so no they didn't know me from a previous purchase). I want to thank Kelly (first visit employee), and Michael and Randall (second visit employees) for making my engagement and wedding ring purchase experiences the best they could have been. I came into this store to get watch links removed and purchase a new battery for my key fob. While the gentleman was removing the watch links he received a phone call. I have no idea if it was personal or business and I don't really care. A woman there took over removing the watch links and then asked if I needed anything else. I told her I was in need of a battery for my key fob. She looked at it and explained that the gentleman on the phone was the only person who could take the cover off. She asked if I had other errands to run and wanted to come back to get it. Clearly, customer service is not a priority for this store as the guy couldn't even get off the phone for the few minutes it would've taken to remove the cover for his partner. As a side note, they did NOT have the battery I needed so now I will have to make a second trip to a different store to get a battery since I had groceries in the car.
