Amazing Valentine's Day experience at Kayne Prime. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met and our day was special. I especially want to thank our waiter, Victor. He took the time to give thoughtful recommendations and consistently checked in on us throughout the night. Victor also made sure everything was spaced out well, so we never felt rushed giving us time to actually enjoy our appetizers. The food was amazing and cooked perfectly and while Kayne Prime is known for their steaks, my wife ordered the salmon and couldn't have been happier with it. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and my wife and I will definitely be back!

Went with a group of 8 for dinner on a Tuesday night. We started with the lobster popcorn, tuna crispy rice and the bacon. I tried the tuna and bacon and liked both. I had the filet mignon for my dinner with the truffle béarnaise sauce. The steak was great. We got a handful of sides for the table. I went with the potato gratin and enjoyed it. My only negative to the restaurant was the service felt slow. It took a while before we're were asked about drinks. Then we prompted them when we wanted to order the appetizers. So overall a very good meal, I just want a slightly more attentive wait staff. It could have been the vibes of the table though that kept the waiter thinking we were not ready yet. The feee valet was a big plus. Best of all I wasn't paying for the meal so I truly was able to just enjoy it with it looking at the prices which are steak level prices.

Stellar! Perfect for celebrating our anniversary. Have an incredible choice of oysters. We always get the popcorn lobster- huge chunks of lobster and fun to eat the popcorn. Iceberg wedge is perfect. Potato gratin is amazing. Spinach has a fried egg they stir in at the table. Steaks and fish are cook perfectly. The popovers are incredible!!! We dined for over 2 hrs, it just flew by and such a pleasant evening. Can't wait to go back! Matthew was our server and he is a superstar!

This was an absolutely amazing experience. My fiancé took me here. He reserved it ahead of time and I highly recommend getting a reservation since they stay fairly busy. The service was amazing and our server, Eric, was outstanding. He had the best recommendations and was very authentic. We started with the popcorn lobster appetizer, I had a Cesar salad after this, and my main course was the 6oz Wagyu filet steak with bone marrow butter, a side of cream corn Brulé and a side of potato aligot. Everything tasted phenomenal and made the experience so amazing. Eric brought us out an anniversary cake (celebrating 2 years engaged) with champagne and it was just the perfect dessert. It tasted so light and fluffy which was good considering how full we were.

Had a birthday dinner at Kayne Prime last night. It had been many many years since I have been here and everything was fantastic! I forgot how large the restaraunt is on the inside. The decor and environment was dark and intimate. I really appreciated it how it wasn't super loud compared to other steakhouses around. Not pictured is the Caesar salad which was INCREDIBLE. The homemade Caesar dressing and Worcestershire sauce drizzle was special. The 10oz American Wagyu filet was great, slightly undercooked for medium rare for me but not worth sending back to the kitchen. Taste was great. I could've used a little more salt and pepper seasoning personally, but I am a heavy season person. The potato's aligot was an absolute dream for cheese lovers. I don't think I have ever seen a cheese pull from anything like what these mashed potatoes had. We loved them. The crème bruleed cream corn was astounding. I am a sucker for this dish from basically anywhere since it's essentially desert. The hint of Jalapeño inside it added a great distinction from normal corn flavor as well. Creamed spinach was great, I don't really have much else to say about it. Very good. The sides were the standout for me. Staff was incredible, made every effort to make it feel special for your birthday. Will definitely be going back.

This place has always been a Nashville staple so I am glad I got to visit ! I like how dark the restaurant is which gives it a classy and cozy viMy friend and I sat at the bar and had an attentive server named Kellie! The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Kellie made us this cucumber drink that is not on the menu anymore, but they still make it if requested. It was nice and refreshing. I really enjoyed the oysters and the small spritz of soy on the salmon dish which was done in front of us when delivered.

The first I went to Kayne Prime was back when it first opened as M Street Entertainment's shiny and new steakhouse. As a steak lover, I enjoyed my visit but also as a food blogger, I had to dedicate my time trying all these new whack-a-mole steakhouses that were sprouting left and right in Nashville. Many steakhouses have come and gone but Kayne has been a local staple for almost 1.5 decades. Fast forward to the present, I had the opportunity to revisit Kayne Prime and it was even better than I remembered. Was it because it was new? Did the menu change for the better? Did they work out all their kinks? I am sure it was all the above. To start off, my party ordered a handful of appetizers. The Housemade Bacon, the Popcorn Butter Lobster, and Tuna Tartare. The star of the lineup was the Housemade Bacon. Smooth, rich, meaty pork with subtle sweetness and slightly salty, this was the perfect balance. Bacon itself is very salty, but this was not overly salty at all. In general, I am a big pork belly fan and I'm going to try and recreate this at home. Second place goes to the Popcorn Butter Lobster. Who doesn't love lobster drowning in butter? Topped with probably the best salt/butter balance of popcorn I've ever tasted. My only problem is that these portions were super tiny. Lastly, the tuna tartare was just ok. I wouldn't order it again. It was exactly what it was, Tuna Tartare on a bed of toasted rice with thinly sliced serrano peppers on top. Again, it was good, but not my favorite. For the same price, I would have gotten the Housemade Bacon again. For the main course, I ordered the 24-ounce bone-in ribeye, cooked medium rare, with a side of bone marrow butter. For my side I ordered the Beech & Buttons (mushrooms). I did get to sample the Cream Corn Brulee and the Potato Aligot. The steak was cooked a beautiful medium rare. A very beautiful sear covered both sides of the steak. I did sample the steak prior to using the Bone Marrow Butter and it was seasoned perfectly. I could have eaten it as is, but I topped it with the Bone Marrow Butter. A rich, decadent, garlick-y, umami butter just enhanced my steak even more. Had I not been at such a nice establishment, I would have gnawed on the bone right at the table. The Beech & Buttons were perfectly cooked mushrooms, not super dry but not undercooked. Chewy, salted morsels of delicious mushrooms went well with the steak. The Cream Corn Brulee was delicious, but it was a bit too sweet. The caramelized sugar was sugary and cinnamon-y, but combined with an already sweet, creamed corn, it was a bit over the top. The Potato Aligot was mediocre. It's not that it wasn't good, but I would have tried something else for that price point. I mean you can only do so much (in my opinion) with mashed potatoes. When it comes to mashed potatoes, just give me butter and salt and I'll be fine. Overall, my experience at Kayne was just as good as I remembered... Everything was fantastic, the ambience was great, but the service was a little slow. I mentioned this to a friend of mine after dinner and he said Kayne has always been slow. But this is a special occasion restaurant to me, not an everyday restaurant. I'll definitely return.

This place has been here forever and i feel like i have tried almost all the steakhouse in Nashville yet i finally got to try Kayne! Man what a treat. From when you first walked in you see the warm welcome from the staff and the place itself is so beautiful and elegant. And loved that they had complimentary valet. We got seated at the booth in the back room and it was nice. Good music in the background. A very nice intimate setting. I got the sweet harmony as my cocktail and it was nice and refreshing. Perfect balance of fruitiness and sweetness. Then we also go the popcorn buttered lobster as an appetizer and it was good. And we also got some complimentary little apps to try as well. It was tuna on some pastry puff and that was good! But for my main course I got the pork tomahawk and it was good. I'm usually not a fan of grilled pork but this was tasty. Plus I got to bring back the bone for my dog. And my friend got the Australian ribeye and he said it was really good. For our sides we got the potato aligot and creamed spinach. We didn't make room for dessert but was given this cute little box of chocolate as well. Overall my experience here was amazing!

Amazing Food!! Everything we tried was five star worthy. From the truffle fries to the popcorn, lobster appetizer, it just kept getting better and better. We had a wonderful time, picking out wine with the help of your very knowledgeable wine staff. They were able to pick out some pairings that were incredible. Our server was great, we had a very large group and I appreciated his attentiveness. It was a little slow. I didn't get my wine until after my dinner arrived and then it took a very long time to bring our bill.

I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. The ambiance has a sophisticated intimate setting which I admired. We had reservations at 7:30pm and we were seated at 8pm. Upon seating The waiter mentioned to us that it would be a good idea to order our entrees with the appetizers. Looking back it made sense as to why our appetizers and entrees were all cold however everything was spot on with flavor. We brought this up to the waiter for feedback so they can improve this for the next guests to walk in. We ordered the Popcorn Lobster, cheese platter, Cesar salad, and filet Mingon steaks.

Ask the Community - Kayne Prime

Can i get away with black jeans and a black top and converse?

Yep! I just would make sure the black top might be a little dressier instead of just like a black t-shirt. But honestly might not matter. Pretty sure last time I went men were wearing hats.

We are used to traveling everywhere with our 10 year old and 8 year old. Would this restaurant be okay for older children?

Yes it's suitable for children. It's a nice semi formal restaurant

What is the dress code? Is it okay to wear nice jeans and a sweater?

Yes. Nice jeans and a sweater is fine with dress shoes.

I read no open toed shoes.. is that for men only or everyone?

I wore nice sandals and I was ok. No open toe for men for sure!

    Is there Valet parking?

Yes. All parking at Kayne Prime is valet.

    What is the dress code?

    Business Casual is fine.

Is there parking on site or is it all valet?

We walked from Broadway as it's very easy to get too but there's definitely a small amount of street parking and valet.

Would this be a special place to celebrate a bday?

YES... great place to celebrate with groups of two to two hundred... many different private rooms available too

Can I bring a bottle of special wine in and be charged a corkage fee?

Yeah, its expensive... from memory I think its $25. There is another thread on this.

Would it be ok to bring a 2yo toddler?

This is a place that people go to when they have a night out with the kids. Why would someone want to hear your kid for the evening?

What is corkage fee for bringing wine and can we bring our own cake for a birthday?

25 if they don't have the wine and 50 if they have on menu. you can check the wines on website.

Stoke Haus Brewing & BBQ is hands down the best BBQ experience of my life!…read more A few helpful tips before you go: parking is a little limited right in front and the entrance is easy to miss. There is additional parking around the side in an open lot that felt safe, was free (at least currently), and was super convenient. Once you arrive, walk around the left side of the building and order inside at the bar. They'll give you a pager, and when your food is ready, you'll head outside to the food truck for pickup. When we first walked in, I have to admit I thought, "What is that smell?" Then I realized it was the giant brewing vats and the smell of the beer-making process. Once I connected the dots, I actually started appreciating it and felt it added to the experience and the authenticity of the brewery. We tried their signature beer, a quality dark ale that paired perfectly with our meal. It had a great depth of flavor and was the perfect complement to the BBQ. For food, we ordered and split: Half order of ribs: incredibly tender with a crispy, flavorful top. They were packed with flavor and came with two dipping sauces. I preferred the BBQ sauce over the Carolina-style sauce, but both were enjoyable. Brussels sprouts: OH MY GOODNESS. I genuinely did not know vegetables could taste this good. Even my veggie-hating partner loved them, which honestly says everything. These were a standout. Mac & cheese: visually, this was beautiful and looked like it was going to be a favorite. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the way I expected and wasn't as satisfying as I hoped. THE BRISKET BURGER = THE STAR OF THE SHOW! I have never had a brisket burger before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was phenomenal. The Gouda cheese was incredible, and the combination of the mayo, pickles, and sauce created the perfect balance of flavors. It was everything you want in a burger and more. This is the dish I will be telling everyone about. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic. They have board games in the back, and it looks like they host karaoke nights, which gives the space a really fun, community-oriented feel. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. Great food, great beer, great people, and a unique experience. Stoke Haus is a must-visit and if you go, do yourself a favor and order the brisket burger. You won't regret it.

You know the places I'm talking about. No, I wanted somewhere authentic. In a neighborhood, not near the mall. A place most people would drive past. Stoke Haus is all this and more. Much more. 2pm on Sunday and the parking lot was full. (I'm sure a good handful was for the liquor store next door). The first issue - how do you get in?? There is no front door. There is a tall wooden fence on the side of the building. I peek through the gap between the fence and the wall. A long smoker, a pile of wood, a small food truck (what???). I see a couple leaving the building by a side door. This must be it. There is a sign taped to the door: order at the bar and pick up at the truck. Following instructions, we approach the bar. The couple next to me just got their food. OMG. That looks so good. I ask what they have...brisket, a pulled pork sandwich, German potato salad, cole slaw, fried okra and a little pile of pickles and marinated onions. I don't even look at the menu. "I want that" I tell the bartender. We each order a beer (I forgot to mention that this is a brewery too). We received our beer and a buzzer, found a table and proceeded to play on our phones until the buzzer went off. My husband went outside to the food truck and came in with a metal tray nearly overflowing with food. We didn't waste a second digging in. The brisket was incredibly tender with a most amazing bark. A little too fatty, even for brisket, but still a "must order". The sandwich was absolutely stuffed with tender, juicy pulled pork. Perfection. The sides, especially the potato salad were excellent (though the okra wasn't made from scratch, it was still worthy). The pickles? That final little "oomph". Our meal wasn't just a home run, it was a grand slam! I've written a lot of reviews. I've written a lot of 5 star reviews. I'd love to be able to give Stoke Haus 10 stars.
