Celebrated my son's birthday and we had a great time. Party of eight, we ordered different items, including appetizers and dessert. Everything was delicious, the staff along with the service was fantastic. Our cook was super attentive and overall made a great first impression. This was our first time visiting. The place is quite big and accommodate large parties. Overall great time make sure to reserve a table, especially on the weekend.

The hibachi chef was very knowledgeable, funny, entertaining, and accommodating for my shell fish allergy. The food is to die for and you will have leftovers for days!!!!!! Love this place!!

I had a great experience at dinner here. Manuel was our chef and very entertaining. Our food was delicious as I got the chicken hibachi and my husband got the filet mignon hibachi. The restaurant is really nice too. I really enjoyed my dinner. We don't go often because it's a little pricey but this was definitely worth it. I also got the Shark Tank drink which was amazing as well.

We think Manuel got his attention when cooking. He would not eat his food because he was so focused on Manuel doing his cooking.

This place is amazing! The staff is very helpful. Manuel is very funny. He has been our chef 2 time and we have only been here 2 times. We all thank the amazing staff. The biggest thank you to Manuel.

After dining here last night, sad to say I won't be returning. My family ordered the same sushi rolls we usually order and there must be a new chef as the crab inside the roll was just a stick of imitation crab instead of the shredded crab that gives a completely different taste and texture. I even looked up my previous pictures on here to see if I was mistaken but the rolls used to have the shredded crab mix. If you're going to charge $17 for a specialty roll at least make it worthy of the price. For 6 of us to eat we paid $243, yet had we gone to an ayce sushi restaurant we would've paid $31 a person at $186 plus tip. The hosts are never friendly. We walked in right after 5 and were the second party to be seated and not even a smile from the two hostesses, just a "follow me." Our waitress was very friendly and efficient as we had no issues with her service. This place needs to actually put their prices on the menu as the sushi offered is way overpriced for what you get.

I stumbled upon this and it was confirmed by a friend as a good place when I asked since it was in their neck of the woods. It's a modern, but chic-looking establishment. It has a nice bar area where I sat and had amazing, fast and friendly service from the bartender. She made my drinks to perfection as well. The beef bulgogi lettuce wraps appetizer could have been a meal on its own but I decided to take it further and continue with the hibachi option and got the hibachi steak option with noodle and rice. IT did NOT disappoint. The portions were very large and I was happy because I had lunch for work the next day lol My ginger salad was actually much fresher than I'm used to as well, and the miso soup were was your round the way dish. Overall, I'd definitely recommend!

New to the area and was referred to try this place out. Visited with my wife, daughter, and son. Parking was pretty full, but lucked up and got one at the front entrance. Place super cute on the inside. A modern spin on Asian food. The host was welcoming, but the young girl seating us could use some coaching. We chose the non-Hibachi dining. We were seated next to the bar and were in the middle of all the action. The server was great from start to finish. The food was amazing! Prices are very reasonable. If our visit couldn't have gone any better, out pops the coolest, most friendliest guy repping the restaurant. Not sure if he were the owner or the chef or just some random guy who enjoys life, but he was extremely warm and inviting. He sat down with us and treated us with a round of drinks. He alone was worth the visit, but then comes dessert! This is quickly becoming our new local sushi spot. We'll be back!

This guy was great to us! Respecting my mothas an elder, and as a Mom. Treated her to dinner...which was so sweet and such a nice surprise!

just now New We have visited this restaurant for all our family birthdays for years and have been happy until tonight. While the food was good enough, the service, vibe and bill were a huge detriment. First, the server seemed like she didn't want to be there. Didn't bring one of our children her salad even though she ordered an adult meal. The chef was ok but he didn't do the flaming tricks like the volcano. He was mildly engaging. The two worst things were when the bill came and the restaurant tacked on an additional 3% for using a credit card. A lot of places are doing this so ok, but I paid with a debit card and merchants aren't allowed to up charge for that. They did anyway and I didn't really know the law until after we left. The second thing was the gratuity was already added. I don't mind that, especially since we were a party of five, but they calculated the tip based on the food cost AND tax and gave themselves a healthy 22% tip. Then, at the bottom of the receipt was a list of "Suggested Tip Amounts" where they calculated based on the food, tax, and the pre-added tip! Really?? I think a pre-added tip of maybe 18% is appropriate, but not 22%. The service wasn't that good. I let that slide because it was a birthday celebration and I didn't want to be that customer. The final kicker was when we were leaving. Apparently we weren't getting out of there fast enough and my daughter heard one of the wait staff say in Spanish she wanted us to hurry up and leave. Wow. Over-tipping for mediocre service and a bad attitude will not bring us back there. Get your act together, Kaze.

This place was really good, the fire was big! I scooted away but i could still feel the heat. The ambiance is giving! The bathroom is very clean! The service was very good, he made sure everyone had refills! They give huge amounts of food, and that is what i like about this place!! The fried rice is always the absolute best! The chicken and noodles were delicious ,as always! Before he gave us the food ,he did make sure he had them medium well!! Was very nice of him!! Ice cream was amazing! My first time having yum yum sauce and oh my gosh it was good! The miso soup was super hot, and very good! That whole meal was very filling, will be coming back!

Some of my family absolutely love this place and they often pick it for their birthday celebrations. But I've had soooo many bad experiences here if someone says they are going here I just send them a birthday card and skip it. One time we were here and the server took our drink and food orders and then never came back. The chef had to actually leave the grill and go get someone to bring drinks as he was serving food. We got our salads and soups AFTER our meals. Another time the chef left out some items he needed to cook and had to leave the grill and go get them after cooking everyone else's food. This is the only Japanese steakhouse I've ever been to where the chef had to leave the grill. See my "lonely lobster tail" photo. They messed up our check really bad once, putting items we didn't order and food from people who weren't in our group on our check. Then almost refused to remove the items because the other group paid and left quickly with a much cheaper bill. Flat out accused us of knowing those people who we had never seen. And finally, another time they dropped the ball so bad, seated us 45 minutes after our reservations, didn't get a chef to the table for another hour, and then got all the orders wrong...I just wanted to get the heck out so I paid my bill and left. My brother complained and they admitted how bad they screwed up and comped his entire group. I called them and said they should do the same for me I was very unhappy and they said no. That was the last time I ever went and the last time I will ever go. If you want a better experience go to Kabuki. But in reality the Triangle could use a really good Japanese Steakhouse.

It was alright. I've been there twice, strictly because my family likes hibachi and most of them go there for birthday celebrations. Both times, we had to wait about a half hour after our reservation for tables. As I don't really care for the performance food, I usually just get sushi or whatever. One time I had the sushi cake, hand rolls and Toro. The Toro is "fatty tuna," the hand rolls were hand rolls and the sushi cake is described as "Layered sushi rice, spicy tuna, avocado, tempura crunch topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo and tobiko." The food itself was very expensive and the packed house experience is less than inviting. I'm just not the type of person who enjoys such settings, but I suck it up for special occasions. Still, I can't bring down the business because it's "not for me," as everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves. It's not easy to park on a busy night either. The fried ice cream was also very tasty and well prepared. Again, the food was good because I chose to stray from the heavy sodium and high frying. But it costs to do so. Best, A.

Fast seating with reservation. The ambiance was nice and open. The food portions were well above equivalent restaurants. Would go back.

Hands down, the best hibachi around that I've tried. Ironically went to my local sushi place…read moretonight that's my go-to and I have always raved about their hibachi... now that I have tried Kazu's, I didn't like it as much. Not sure if that's good or bad news for me lol because Kazu is about 40 minutes from my house. Service was polite and attentive as I expected. Restaurant was clean but is limited on seating, just fyi. Hibachi is cooked fresh to order and my fave thing is that the veggies aren't over cooked and mushy. They still have a crisp to them. Thai tea was excellent too. Didn't taste like a premix (if it is).

I was told to sit wherever I wanted, and since they weren't busy due to the off-time, I chose a booth. Ordered the chicken and scallops combo, plus green tea and water. Tea and water were served in styrofoam. Not a fave of mine. But when the delicious food appeared, I forgave them. Especially since it was on a real plate. I had to ask for ginger sauce, but the yum yum sauce had already been put on the table in a squeeze bottle. Everything was perfectly cooked, plentiful and yummy. I would probably not order the scallops again because the flavor and texture were more fish-like than scallop like. Loved the chicken and all the veggies. Fried rice was good as well. Didn't have anything added to it, but it didn't need to. Even though I ate a lot, I still took home enough for another delicious meal. Would definitely go back, especially considering how inexpensive it was.

My first two rolls took a while to come out, but I think that was because one of the rolls I ordered was fried. My last two rolls came out much quicker and I ordered those one at a time. AYCE dinner was $26.99, and I felt like I got my moneys worth with 26 pieces of sushi (10 of those pieces were HUGE pieces of sushi too). Appa Roll (5): This roll was pretty, green, and tasty! I loved the shrimp tempura and avocado combination. Even though this was a 5 piece roll, the pieces were big, so it was just as filling as the standard 8 piece. TNT Roll (5): I enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't get this one again because it is fried and has cream cheese (too filling when you are trying to do AYCE). I really liked the mango in the roll, so I want to try their other rolls with mango! The pieces were huge, this roll was more filling than the standard 8 piece. Chapel Hill Roll (8): My favorite roll of the night, I loved the different fish on top and the avocado was delicious. Salmon Lover Roll (8): If you like salmon and avocado, this roll is for you! A lot of other salmon forward rolls have cream cheese, so I loved that this one had avocado instead. Delicious! I look forward to coming back with a friend or my husband so we can share rolls and try even more varieties!
