Oooph haven't had takeout from here in a while but our food tonight was awful. Definitely will not be back. My wife's scallops were gross and super overcooked. Ditto for mine and my daughter's shrimp. It was like rubber. But the biggest annoyance was the vegetables. The broccoli was 100% frozen bagged broccoli. Not sure about the onion, mushrooms, and zucchini but it was as sitting in 2 ozs of water and was not edible. Ended up throwing out 60% of my hibachi. read more

We went to this place randomly late at night after. The staff was nice. I got the steak and scallop and my husband got steak and chicken. I wish the veggies were better. They were pretty Bland. The scallops were great they were definitely the best options!! I think you get a good amount of food for the price. And the fact you could get scallop and steak for a decent price was a big plus. I just wish their were more flavor to the veggies as it a big part of the meal. read more

New restaurant name is Hibachi Japan. We've been twice and had the Hibachi Chicken with rice and vegetables. Delicious and freshly made! Served on fried rice with a side of Yum Yum sauce. Most orders were for take-out but we ate in. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend! read more

I'm happy about the location of the restaurant and convenience but I can't say it's my favorite habachi restaurant. Very friendly staff and great service but the steak didn't have too much flavor. The white sauce was a bit sub par as well, pretty bland. I often expect the sweet carrots when I get habachi so I was a bit sad to see that wasn't included. My wife got the same habachi order but with scallops and that was the best thing they made! Cooked and prepared incredibly well, I would go back soley for the scallops. We placed an order over the phone for pick up. We split an order of crab rangoons for an appetizer and for our meals it was the hibachi chicken with fried rice for my husband and the hibachi chicken with white rice for me. You get one container of yum yum sauce and that was enough for me, I paid 50 cents for an extra and did not use it. It wasn't very good, this would not be my first choice for hibachi in the area. read more

I am not going to five this many stars as they gave me the incorrect sauce once again. When I sit there and say to your face and you pick up that sauce and put it in a bag only to hand me the incorrect ones, is unforgivable. I will not be back. If it's that difficult for you to differentiate between the sauces, then you need to not work there. I am insanely allergic to the white one and yet they shove that one ti me when the only reason I was eating there was for the ginger to help with my nausea. Do NOT waste your time unless you want the wrong order and the employee's to argue with you when you try to point it out. read more

Good. Nothing special. But it was hot and fresh. Chicken and steak hibachi wasn't dry. Fried rice had no pork, yay! Veggie spring rolls good but slightly doughy imo. Edamame okay. Overall not bad just wasn't knock your socks off so hence only 3 stars. I would return. read more

This place is the definition of "in the middle". Is the food bad ? No! Is it going to change your life ? No ! The prices aren't terrible and on a hungry day, it's not half bad. It's the place you go to in a pinch. The service isn't the most welcoming and the environment is ok. read more

We decided to try this new place in Holly Springs. Service was super quick (we walked in and ordered) and portion sizes were pretty large. We had some dumplings that you could tell were homemade. They were crispier than normal fried dumplings but had a great taste. We had the basic chicken teriyaki. It came with a huge portion of rice along with lots of vegetables. The only negative was that the chicken was a tad rubbery as it was pre cooked and then warmed up or just simply over cooked. Other than that everything was great. Did takeout the other night from here. Place was very clean which is great because Hibachi and Co in Fuquay is absolutely gross. I have been searching for years to find somewhere to replace that spot. I agree with the other reviewer that they could stand to season their food a teeny bit more, but overall it was good. The white sauce is excellent and helps a lot. The rice could use a bit more seasoning. Overall we liked it and will for sure go back. I've seen their Now Open signs the last few weeks and thought I'd give them a try. I am glad I did. I walked in and place my order. It was very quickly prepared. The restaurant is very clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken and Crab Rangoon. The portion of Hibachi Chicken was very generous and very good. The Crab Rangoon was good as well, with plenty of filling in each one. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back! The food was very yummi! read more

You can order extra yum yum sauce for 50 cents, I only recommend one additional because of the size. I didn't feel great after so I would not recommend this place. read more

Typical quick Hibachi. Definitely needed in Holly Springs. It is on the plain side without adding the sauces. I wish they would season their food more. Other than that, if in the mood for Hibachi that is reasonably priced and not a long drive from the town, then this is the spot to visit. read more

Food is ok but Soba shrimp noodles has a ton of cabbage and very little amount of shrimp or noodles.

I visited here for lunch and ordered the hibachi shrimp and scallops. Scallops were well prepared a la Gordon Ramsey. A mix of broccoli, zucchini and mushrooms were also very tasty. You get large portions for a fair price. I will definitely return. read more

Decent for a fast food option. The prices are perfect for a large family and quick meal! The food was average. We ordered steak/shrimp/scallops hibachi, chicken hibachi, steak/shrimp hibachi, soba noodles, and seaweed salad. I would love more veggies with each hibachi dish. We had maybe 1/2 cup of zucchini/onion/mushroom mixture for each dish. Maybe there's more for a dine-in plate, but I would love to see more veggies and less rice if there's a next time. The meat portions were decent but the steak was hard to chew. The chicken was good but bland. Maybe the teriyaki would help with flavor. The scallops were actually done pretty well and were the best part! The kids loved the white sauce. read more
