    Steak and scallop habachi
    Emily T.

We went to this place randomly late at night after. The staff was nice. I got the steak and scallop and my husband got steak and chicken. I wish the veggies were better. They were pretty Bland. The scallops were great they were definitely the best options!! I think you get a good amount of food for the price. And the fact you could get scallop and steak for a decent price was a big plus. I just wish their were more flavor to the veggies as it a big part of the meal.

I'm happy about the location of the restaurant and convenience but I can't say it's my favorite habachi restaurant. Very friendly staff and great service but the steak didn't have too much flavor. The white sauce was a bit sub par as well, pretty bland. I often expect the sweet carrots when I get habachi so I was a bit sad to see that wasn't included. My wife got the same habachi order but with scallops and that was the best thing they made! Cooked and prepared incredibly well, I would go back soley for the scallops. Overall I wanted to like the restaurant but the flavor left me wanting more.

We placed an order over the phone for pick up. We split an order of crab rangoons for an appetizer and for our meals it was the hibachi chicken with fried rice for my husband and the hibachi chicken with white rice for me. You get one container of yum yum sauce and that was enough for me, I paid 50 cents for an extra and did not use it. It wasn't very good, this would not be my first choice for hibachi in the area.

I am not going to five this many stars as they gave me the incorrect sauce once again. When I sit there and say to your face and you pick up that sauce and put it in a bag only to hand me the incorrect ones, is unforgivable. I will not be back. If it's that difficult for you to differentiate between the sauces, then you need to not work there. I am insanely allergic to the white one and yet they shove that one ti me when the only reason I was eating there was for the ginger to help with my nausea. Do NOT waste your time unless you want the wrong order and the employee's to argue with you when you try to point it out.

Great addition to the area! Stopped in during the week for dinner, they were busy. Ordered their chicken bowl, edamame and steamed dumplings. Enjoyed the food and service was quick.

Good. Nothing special. But it was hot and fresh. Chicken and steak hibachi wasn't dry. Fried rice had no pork, yay! Veggie spring rolls good but slightly doughy imo. Edamame okay. Overall not bad just wasn't knock your socks off so hence only 3 stars. I would return.

This place is the definition of "in the middle". Is the food bad ? No! Is it going to change your life ? No ! The prices aren't terrible and on a hungry day, it's not half bad. It's the place you go to in a pinch. The service isn't the most welcoming and the environment is ok.

This business has changed its name to Hibachi Japan. Same owners, same menu, same quality....just a new name.

Food is ok but Soba shrimp noodles has a ton of cabbage and very little amount of shrimp or noodles.

So glad to see that this place has finally opened! We ordered take out over the phone, 2 hibachi…read moresteak plates. Very friendly person on the phone. The place looks very modern inside with the video menu boards. Our order was ready in 10 mins like we were told. The steak was great quality and I like that it was smaller chopped pieces. The rice could have used a little more flavor but extra soy sauce helped. All in all I would definitely revisit!

Only 4 booths, but most business appears to be carry out. Owner tells us they do not use msg. Not sure how to confirm it. Tonight we ordered hibachi chicken, steak and shrimp combo. All hibachi and teriyaki are made with choice of protein then broccoli, onions, zucchini and mushrooms with fried or white rice. The noodles are made with carrots and cabbage. The ginger sauce for the seaweed salad was thin, watery and lacked ginger taste. But was tangy. The seaweed was placed atop iceberg lettuce with halved grape tomatoes and sliced cucumbers. Most places dont asd seweed to a tossed salad. Dumplings are steamed. Just ok. Crab Rangoon was crunchy, but filling was tepid. As if apps were made first, then sat while the hibachi was made. Hibachi was dry. No sauce/broth per se. Had to add yum yum sauce and soy sauce. The other Sauces were also thin and tangy, no distinct differences. One TV with a sports channel on. Clean, quiet environment. Could hear a fan but didn't feel as if AC was on. We had to leave, it was uncomfortable to eat in. We will try other options next time, but as carryout.

A nice perk of this spot is that it's just a stone's throw away from free and plentiful lot parking. I'd make a reservation if you plan to come here on a weekend for dinner. The place was bustling, with almost all the tables full. It's bright, airy and modern looking inside. Which makes it the perfect place for a date night or celebration spot. At the same time, it's not stuffy or overly fancy. The menu is comprehensive with Thai favorites like Pad Thai and Pad See Ew with a large number of Japanese and Sushi items on the back. My friends tried the Thai Spicy level and I will say it was pleasantly hot without burning your tongue off. I ordered the bento box and was really happy with the quality of the sashimi and nigiri. Everything was tasty, and the portions were more than satisfying. If I had to make a nit on something that I didn't love (it's hard!), I'd say that the rice texture wasn't my favorite. It was a little dry. But other than that, I would definitely consider it for another night out.

Holy!! We had expectations from all of the recommendations, but what a complete disappointment…read more First let's start with the only positive-- the waitress and her service was perfect. She was so kind and was the absolute best part of our visit. She gave a range recommendations, very professional, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the meal. We are coming from the Irvine, CA area so we VERY familiar with top tier Asian food and possibly that impacted our standards vs others in the review section. Now on to the rest, there were so many flies that I ended up having to smash them on the window with a napkin--just gross! Then, my son's food was not flavored well at all and had HAIR in his noodles! The Pad Thai was really bad! It was a lighter color first of all, so maybe they added an ingredient that isn't standard in traditional Pad Thai, but it did not make it better at all; I could barely stomach it. Then, there was a huge egg shell in the dish that somehow the cook let come out and served to us. The sweet and sour chicken portion was outrageously small for a dinner portion, and the dish was smothered with sauce but somehow the chicken was dry as if it was day old or several days old chicken. The cashew chicken, the same, dry chicken that was being covered up with the sauce and we had to chew a great deal. The sweet tea, it just tasted like they put a bunch of sugar packets in and was worse than a McDonald's sweet tea. Their white rice was not moist at all and we could've just done without it. Out of the sushi we ordered, the spicy tuna was good, but the rest was grocery store quality sushi and extremely small portion. In my opinion, people rave about this place because it is 'different' and plays into an upscale restaurant as you can see with their overpriced items. This place doesn't hold a candle to shopping center Thai fusion in California. I have lived in many states and am not a snotty Californian, but man oh man I can tell you this one is a fail. The only star for this visit goes to the waitress (she was a 5) but if I could give this a zero for the food, I would. Don't waste your time or money.
