First time checking this place out while in Gettysburg. I'd only recommend if you really want some sushi cuz I don't think there's anywhere else to grab some in that entire county. But it was alright. It's kind of odd how you order at the counter and then get table service. Or if it's busy you sit and wait for them to call you to the counter to order. Also don't get anything with crab because it's like worse than imitation crab.

The ramen is very unauthentic, especially me living in Hawaii for six years. This ramen is like a joke. The noodles are very much overcooked and very soft. And they are very Spicy and salty

Non-welcoming service, non-flavorful/fresh Sushi with not much of selection to choose from. The booths had ripped seats, the dishes & utensils were dirty & asking for a glass of water was a chore. The only part of my visit that I enjoyed, was walking through the lobby of the neighboring Majestic Theater's lobby to utilize the Ladies Restroom. Won't crave Sushi on my next visit to Gettysburg's Town Center.

I'd been wanting to try this place, am glad that I did, and likely will return. It's in a great location, one half block north of the Gettysburg square. Parking can be problematic, and parking meters are all over and strictly enforced. You have to seat yourself and go to the counter and pay first. The person st the desk was not helpful and was difficult to understand. I ordered sushi and spicey miso which was very good with generous portions, moderately priced. The floor was clean which is always a good thing.

I'm not sure why (it's Gettysburg? I read some meh reviews? It's attached to a theatre? It has "chicken noodle ramen" on the menu?) but I wasn't expecting much from this place. I was so pleasantly surprised! The tonkotsu ramen was delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles plentiful and nice and chewy, and they give you a really solid amount of toppings. A whole egg, baby bok choy, corn, bamboo, nori, bean sprouts, green onions, pickled ginger, and a fish cake in mine, in addition to the chashu pork, of course (several thin pieces). I LOVED the addition of the picked ginger--not something I've encountered in ramen before! For $10, you really can't beat it. The gyoza were good too, and you got six for $5, which is awesome. The only potential...I won't even say complaints, but hesitations, I guess, I have were that the egg was closer to hard than soft boiled, and the gyoza were steamed. Neither is a big deal at all--I was mostly just surprised by the steamed gyoza. I love steamed dumplings, but I've only ever seen gyoza pan fried (maybe I was supposed to specify and I missed it? Unsure). And they came with a sweet and sour or duck-type sauce instead of the standard vinegary dumpling sauce. But hey, they were still tasty, so I'm really not complaining. Would definitely come back!

Food is good. Service is kind of rude. Neat little setting. If the service was friendly I give it 5 stars

Sushi was mediocre at best, fell apart when eating it. Not a lot of choices either. Not much sushi in this area but I'd never come back.

Had low expectations but it was really bad. The shrimp gyoza was lacking shrimp. The sushi was inedible. Hopefully we don't get sick.

Unbelievably bad service. Beyond bad. The owner of this place was the one who waited on us so it's not going to get any better either.

The inside is super cute with plants on the wall, and they also have a few outdoor tables. We went on a Saturday night around 7:30 and didn't have to wait at all. They only serve beer and wine, just something to keep in mind. The appetizers were great, and the sushi came out perfectly. Highly recommend getting the "Ring of Fire" -- it literally comes out on fire and tastes amazing. The only small hiccup was that I didn't get the miso soup I ordered, but I didn't realize until the bill came. Our server apologized and took it off right away, which we appreciated. We'll definitely be back, especially to check out their happy hour prices!

We were immediately sat and placed an order for Bao buns. These were very good - only the "meat marinade sauce" on these - usually there is a mayo type as well. An order comes with 3 just as a heads up. We also ordered two rolls: Poseidon and Fire. They were both fried rolls but very good. The fire ball one is served with a liquor that is lit on fire which is cool - but it leaves behind an off-putting taste afterwards. Poseidon was very good with shrimp and crab and served with spicy mayo. For my main entree - I got the pork tonkotsu ramen. Standard - it was good and it comes with a full egg rather than one half like many other places. Our server was very good and attentive. Overall a solid meal and a must-try if you're a fan of Asian cuisine.

They even have some boba tea options. Not sure I would trust the mango and strawberry mochi ice cream though. I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen combo which comes with a pork bun and Thai iced tea. I was able to get the Thai tea less sweet. Altogether it was $20 which isn't too bad. Thai tea was as you would expect nothing wrong with it. Pork bun was pretty good, nice soft bun with slices of pork with lettuce, cucumber with a sweet sauce. Spicy tonkatsu ramen was alright, above average for York, PA. It came with a closer to hard boiled half egg, one slice of fish cake, some bamboo, a few slices of chashu that was marinated but a little overcooked, and pink ginger.. Why they would put pink ginger in ramen is beyond me but it was not a good choice. Flavor of broth was good and spicy level is more of a mild. They do have a devil ramen which is much spicier. Ambience was cool, they have a mist machine with purple lights in the middle and a Naruto figure near the door. They also have a small tv playing Naruto episodes non-stop. Service was good too. Servers checked on my at appropriate times. One of the bathrooms was out of service when I came, hopefully they will fix that soon. Overall, worth a visit to get your Ramen fix in York.

But why show up for the food if you can't even get a table!! But I was extremely disappointed with their reservation system. I had put in a request for a reservation more than 24 hrs before the intended time and while yes I never received a "confirmation" and on the email it does say "this is not a confirmation", however, I have never had such a poor reservation system experience with any other restaurant. I had shown up in to the restaurant in the bitter cold and paid for parking only to find that they never confirmed the reservation on their end. SMH. And was an hour wait....EXACTLY why I wanted to make a reservation to avoid all of this. Moral of the story, don't trust their reservation system, if you want a table.

My vegetarian kiddo recently ordered the veggie bento box and was delightfully blown away by it. Her favorite dish was the tofu with peanut sauce. She said the peanut sauce had spice but wasn't too spicy (she's 12). The ginger dressing for the salad was really good, too. The spring rolls weren't a favorite, but they're a nice textural contrast. So, even if you're not in the mood for ramen, you should still stop by. Service has never been disappointing. Our most recent visit was fantastic, as always. I do recommend a reservation if you plan to dine during a common meal time. They get busy fast!
