This salon is behind McDonalds near Howe and Fair Oaks, not the one next to Raley's. It's not new and as posh as some of the others in the area. They don't serve mimosas or drinks. The service is always good. The technicians are friendly. They never seemed like they are rushing through clients and I have good experiences when I come. Best of all, they are the only salon in the area that uses OPI regular polish, rather than the cheap DNC. I don't normally get gel, and never acrylics or dip. Therefore, I don't know what they use for those services. The prices are good. I paid $70 dollars for the top pedicure and mid range manicure, but they can be as low as $50. It's probably the best price in the Arden/Sac State area.

Went in specifically for callus removal & they did a horrible job.

I called to make my mom an appointment. I spoke with a man and told him specifically what I wanted for my mom. I requested a gel pedicure and told him the main reason she needed one was for callus removal. I asked him what they did to remove callus and he explained it to me. He also assured me that they can remove it. When my mom called me while getting the pedicure, disappointed, I was so irritated. She said her callus looked exactly the same as when she walked in. She was arguing back-and-forth with the man I spoke with. He had the nerve to tell her that her feet were "cracked" so that's why they couldn't do a good job. We have been getting manicures and pedicures for many years. There are different ways to remove callous and other places always remove properly when we pay extra for it or request it. I would not recommend this nail salon as they are dishonest and argumentative with customers. When she came and showed me her feet, I was so Pissed off and I removed her callous myself.

Thanks to everyone at KB I absolutely loved my pedi #2 BEST pedi I've had in years. Plus, I had fun! All the laughter we shared during girls night with friends was just what I needed to relax after a hard working week. Great staff who took pride in their craft in a relaxing environment, with beautiful results. We will definitely be back.

i do like you can book online and then they will call to confirm. the pedicure was good and they have volcanic pedi which is not alot of places offer it. as i was paying i mention i seen the 20% off online (if you pay i in cash) and he said he can do $6? BUT i spent about $110 i went about month ago so coupon online was still valid.

I made an appointment for November 12th, 2023 at 10am for a pedicure & full set acrylic for my mother's birthday. Me & my mother got there 10 minutes early. We were patient and told them we could wait. Lady at the front asked appointment or no? I told the lady I had an appointment for Tracy 1, they looked at us confused and I showed them proof that I had an appointment, it looked like no one wanted to help us. One of the lady which I assume is Tracy 1 was talking in Viet pointing to tell someone else to help us when I requested her. The vibe was all off, They all started talking in viet crazy (which is normal) but some random person helped us instead. My mother's experience: she didn't like it, she wanted a specific color and they decide to give her something else. My experience: the lady who helped me was nice, I showed her a photo on how I would like my nails, but the nails turned out okay, it was not shaped well, painted well & looked bumpy. I am very picky with my nails. I am paying a lot for a person to do my nails and It didn't live up to my expectation. If I don't like the experience I will not tip and I just felt forced to tip while they stand there when I paid. Never coming back.

Update! I've been going to this spot for YEARS. Since 2017. Today, I finally found my new mani tech! Sally! I lost my old one a while back, and it had been years since I was able to find a replacement. I was most impressed when she made sure the water I soaked my hands in was warm enough. She made sure my nail shape was up to par after she filed. I was super happy. Nina gives THE BEST pedicures. She's meticulous and gives GREAT massages. Never leaves me disappointed because she knows I'm so particular. I've only had to go to other places when I'm not in town, and no one can do pedicures like her. She takes her time and takes care of me every time. She's honest and never rushes my massage. Love these ladies. Y'all really know how to take care of a girl when I'm down.

So this is $40? Instead of $35 because it took the technician to layer the powder??? BS

I'll give them 3 stars for their work and -1 star for their lack of communication. After coming here for a while I've started to notice how they miscommunicate with their customers on pricing. An extra $5 for this or that. Fine. But when you tell a customer a fill is $35 but when it comes to paying its now $40 because the technician took longer to file. Cmon now. If you want to charge for longer nails or for longer service then be up front about it. You've lost a customer because of your lack of honesty. Thanks

I like KB nails but todays experience changed it for me. The worst manicure ever received! The gentleman working on me had such bad energy towards me, was constantly slapping my hands you could read i bothered him, but most importantly he gave me a sloppy manicure. I have gel paint stuck all over my cuticle and the paint is bubbly. When i addresses my frustration I was still charged full price and not even offered an apology. Greed will make you loose good customers. There is a thousand other options around. I hated the disrespect i felt from the manicurist! Awful! read more

Overall, I am a fan. They are pretty big and efficient. Definitely make an appointment but I didn't notice people having to wait too long for walk-ins. I do like my nails but I can tell that the top clear coat wasn't placed in a way to cover the entire nail. After half a week my regular polish is already starting to chip. Am I rough on my nails? I do plan to come back to try the gel. read more

I found this place on Yelp. I had a limited selection of salons because my only day to get them done was on a Sunday. I liked a color I saw in their photos so I came in and showed them the picture. I requested to take off my pink & white nails and get a gell full set which would've costed 40 or 45. They told me with the color I wanted I could get away with full and save $10. I don't know if it was just the guy, but he didn't try & seemed in a rush. All of my nails hurt & are different lengths! Super thin & kept filing alway! On top of that he dropped nail polish which it got on my clothes & shoes. Not happy won't be back 55$ for a mess read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Very unsatisfied they tried to charge me $10 extra for ugly design I didn't want or like and when I wanted to get the design off they caused a scene scratched up my nails to take the design off were VERY RUDE about it. Totally embarrassed me and still charge me to leave me with scratched up nails I have to go pay to get redone. Scam artists. If I could give them no stars I would. read more

This salon ha so many team members there ready to glam you up. They offer different options when it comes to nails! I tried the nail dip powder for the first time and my experience has been great. 3 weeks going strong and no chip nails more importantly it cut my time at the salon in half. Great place! Very clean and the staff is always very sweet. I always ask for Tony because he is gentle and does a beautiful job every time!! I'm never going anywhere else because they are the best. I recommend making an appointment though. They take walk ins but they are always busy (which they should be) but the wait is never more than 10 min. read more

I am never disappointed here! KB nails is my favorite spot because they employees treat you well and there's no wait. They do a good job and give you a massage and hot towel after. It's inexpensive as well mine cost $25 for gel. read more

Had an appointment and had to wait 15 min before being seated. What's the point of making an appointment ahead of time? The lady that did my nails was very hard to understand and did an okay job. Got mad at me because I wanted to wait to pay until after my nails were done. (They better look good or I'm not paying until they do) Plus an extra $5 charge for shaping them round, which was not mentioned prior to doing them. Isn't square a shape? Ridiculous. *Update* not even a week has gone by and one of the nails broke off. Well that sucks. read more

If you don't have cash & have to pay with card they raise the price of your service $10-$20. They also told me to my face & in front of the entire store I didn't tip enough the last time I'd visited despite me leaving $20. A nail tech also told me she couldn't, and wouldn't, give me the shape I asked for (it was a coffin nail). On top of refusing to give me the shape I asked for, they charged me extra to file the nail down thinner. They're very aggressive and it feels like they're trying to scam you. read more

This is the second time this place disappoints me. Last time I was here they did a TERRIBLE job with my manicure. Today I came in for a pedicure. I pay money for this , I expect to walk out with what I pay for. The lady was taking off my gel pedicure by scrubbing them with a sharp nail tool. Really ? A pedicure is where I spoil my feet. I didn't come here to ruin and damage them. She spoke no English at all and didn't listen to anything l said. Bought out the wrong color and continued to do my nails in it. I seriously almost broke down. Find a better place that listens what you want to pay for . read more

Wow! This place is super clean and does an amazing job on my nails. I randomly went in the other day because my original nail tech at another salon was booked. They were the closest nail salon to me so I decided to give them a try. The front desk was nice and greeted me right away (unlike other nail salons). I was surprised by how big the salon was. It's super spacious and B I G. They also have tons of employees, pedi chairs and such so the wait wasn't too long. They do Walk-ins so it was perfect because I didn't schedule an appointment prior to my visit. The employees here are super friendly and genuinely want to help their customers. My sister and I came here for a mani-pedi and we left here super satisfied and happy :) happy campers..we were. They have a variety of nail colors but I wish they had more pastel and spring colors. I really wanted coral or something peachy but it's okay I went with Tiffany blue and the color was gorgeous. I loved how they took the time to do each and every one of my nails, making sure it was on point. Absolutely love this place!! My friends introduced me to this spot & now I'm hooked! Prices are reasonable & efficient amongst the crazy madness of being absolutely busy from the moment they open to when the close! NEW OWNERS/ZERO STARS! I went to this salon (the one by McDonalds) on saturday, september 19 and had a gel pedicure and a full set of pink and white acrylic's. With tips included I dropped over $125 dollars and my only request was that they make sure my nails don't lift, as I'm a dental hygienist and my hands are always in water. Well my nails started to lift less than a week later. So I called and they said to come back and they would fix them, Emma is the one that did my nail originally. When I got there they had me take a seat and another nail tech began drilling my nails to fix them, as she was doing this the female owner came over and said that there would be a $20 dollar charge to fix them, I said no this is not my fault so why should I pay, she said that she has to pay the new nail tech to correct the lifting and that my nails had grown out to they would have to fill them ,please see picture of my nails, they did not grow out, when the nail tech filed to correct of course there was more space that had to be filled!!!! How is any of this my fault!!!!! I said I never had this problem with the original owner Tina and Ben! I got up and left, I can't believe they are treating customers this way, they have owned it for about a year, good luck staying in business with this attitude! I went to the other KB nails by Raleys, where I had to pay for a new set and they are great. The KB nails by Raleys is not owned by the same owners, Tracy is awesome. So I had to pay for a whole new set to fix nails that are a week old. The picture is of the original set BEFORE she started filing! No no and more no . Walked in for a pedi after my friend referred me here . She said they do great work and great massages so hmm why not ! See me I'm a fan of soaking , what's the point of a spa bath without soaking ! Well I walk in first thing first yes the location is gorgeous and new everything new . However your walking into a place where the women doing the work are speaking Vietnamese now I don't know about you but I don't speak it soooo jus like in some reviews don't speak to the workers , lol remind me how i would ? I told my lady hot water she didn't understand that until my water was filled and her coworker broke it down . So she begins using acetone on my toes which i say are gel . Anyone wanna guess how long my feet stayed out of my bath without soaking ! 28 minutes to remove gel !!!!! Mind you by the time she's beginning to pick cuticle it's never soaked i speak up ! Her fix was a squirt of cuticle oil and a lame dunk in my water . I'll jus never ever do this place again !!! Her manager ,the man walks around (the only fluent English speaker )asks how I'm doing blah blah so i ask prices since menus weren't provided . 20 basic and 35 gel whoooaaa what a price jump . For gel 15 more lol for 28 minutes outta water in a 45 minute service . And get this no exfoliating or basic masque that's " extra " . I will never ever return here ! And i don't expect a reply because from the looks of complaints all the place does is say sorry I'll tell my team ! Yea no thanks too bad cause the place is nice oh and my polish job sucked it's already chipped at the edges ! ( 2 days after ) Back to happy day nail spa if you never been maybe it's time you get a relaxing full experience for 35$ where people actually interact and you can enjoy hot soak !!! ‍‍‍ ps you get what ya pay for so if your in for chipped polish be my guest . read more

I have been going to KB Nails for several years now and they provide a great service and high quality service!! I have my few favorite people I book appointments with, but have used many different nail technicians over the years and received high quality results each time. They train their employees well. While I work nearby this salon, I have tried many different salons closer to where I live in surrounding Folsom area. I have never received the quality of service that I receive at KB Nails. It's truly a waste of money to go anywhere else! Obviously I highly recommend this business as you will never walk away disappointed. read more

I have had a good pedicure experience here. It's around $20-25 and they give great messages. I have had one gel manicure but it pealed quickly and the girl cut me. Their also wasn't a wide selection of colors for gel manicure. So in my experience get the pedicures for sure! read more

In love, I moved from Los Angeles to Sacramento for school. I was sad that I couldn't go to my regular spot back home, it's taken me 7 months to finally find a great place. I got a pedicure because work has been an overload lately and I couldn't have been more happier than I am right now. They are gentle and the massage part is longer than just a minute or seconds. The chairs are comfortable and they have so many chairs and people you do not have to wait so long. I called 15 min before going in and I was able to have an appointment in the same hour. Love them!!! First off- this is the biggest nail salon that I've ever been to, EVER! There are literally 30+ pedicure chairs. They have a large staff that is able to accommodate everyone with virtually ZERO wait time. Super prompt service (even on a Saturday afternoon). Just started coming to KB nails about a month ago since I left my last nail salon of 8 years. The friendly customer service is exceptional! I've been in a few times for mani, and pedis. The attention to detail is phenomenal! The prices are reasonable, and the service is magnificent! I've been getting just regular polish no gel and it looks like gel, and lasts just as long. Nina, and Christina are my nail techs and they truly do an amazing job. If you're looking for a new nail salon I highly recommend you try them out. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. read more

By the I really had better expectations,they had duty floors, u can tell they didn't clean the morning,they send me to one of the stations & it had somebody's protection sandals & the divided paper on the floor,dirty towel on top of the station,not covid sanitation at all,I had a fill done it was ok, but my pedicure was worst she hurt me, cut me & the gel polish was around the toes she did not clean it, I'm looking for a new place to do my nail sense I move here,& definitely is not the place read more

Come visit KB Nails at 2326 Fair Oaks Blvd (located behind McDonald’s). *This location is NOT associated with the secondary KB Nails location (near Raley’s). We are under 2 separate ownerships. We have worked really hard to give our shop a new look, and we’re excited for you to come see it. We have a new atmosphere featuring new spa chairs, tables, and equipment. We hope you’ll enjoy our new look just as much as we do. We are also taking COVID-19 safety precautions to protect both our customers and our staff—your temperature will be checked upon entry, and we practice social distancing and require masks to be worn at all times by both customers and employees. I understand for specific nail shapes like almond a specific length is required to achieve that look but not for square. I then told her about how my family owns nail shops and she proceeded to make a comment about how it's a chop shop based on its location. In any circumstance when is it ever appropriate to make that comment?? This salon is nice and it is on the pricier side but the service does not meet the price point. I had multiple witnesses as well who can attest to these comments since I went with my friends. My square shape also came out wide, bulky, and ugly. I had to refile and reshape themselves. I can't speak for everyone but that was my experience at Blush and I won't be back.

I made an appointment for 9:45am and was immediately greeted and seated at a pedicure station - I was also offered water too. I went with the Deluxe Pedicure which was $42 + extra for the Gel polish. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! I recently had a gel acrylic full set done, and I'm extremely disappointed with the experience. This was, without a doubt, the worst set I've had at any salon. While the manicurist was friendly, she made several mistakes during the process. She cut my cuticles so badly that they bled, and they're still burning hours later. The paint job is uneven, with noticeable bumps, and the nails are misshapen. I politely asked her to fix a few things, but the issues were never fully addressed. What's even more concerning is that I observed her using the same tools on a client before me without sanitizing them. Given that she was cutting my live skin and causing me to bleed, I'm worried that if the tools aren't properly sanitized, germs could easily be transferred to others. While I'm fortunate I don't have any blood-borne illnesses, it's essential for any salon to maintain proper cleanliness to protect clients' health. In hindsight, I wish I had been more assertive and requested another nail tech to take over, but I tend to be shy and didn't want to cause a scene. Unfortunately, now I'm left with the need to have my nails redone for a special event, which will cost me an additional $45 plus tip. I'm truly disappointed by the entire experience. read more

I been going there for years and will never go again! When Tina, the owner, did my nails it was fine. Then she stopped doing nails, supposedly,And expanded to three times the size. The women who did my nails after didn't do a good job and they were always in a hurry. Last time I was there with a new friend I brought, I was showing the women what I wanted done and she kept getting mad and not understanding what I was saying. She started talking crap to her people and they kept coming up. She couldn't understand a simple "make the design bigger" which I was patiently saying not being rude although she had an attitude. Then she got up and said she's not doing it anymore! Just quit on me without any explanation, all because I asked her to do my flower bigger! Maybe get some people who speak English. It's a little awkward that they don't speak English, get made for bit understanding u and the fact I been going there for years and the owner did NOTHING ABOUT THIS, was shocking. My girlfriend and I came to Sacramento to visit our cousin and it was my girlfriend's birthday. So i wanted to treat her out. I yelped a nail salon and Kb nails seemed to have good reviews. So i took my girlfriend there. The customer service suck really bad. The lady that sat at the front desk greeted us. She didn't smile or actually pay attention to us. It made us felt unwanted. We told her that we wanted pedicures. She immediately told us to pick a color and have seat. We waited and waited, 20 minutes passed until we got seated. While we sat in the massage chair, she told us to wait a few more minutes. While we were waiting she had yelled at the workers to come and do our pedicures. We didn't mind waiting because we wanted to relax. The pedicure were great. The girls that served us did a very great job. Honestly, everything was great except for the customer service and that lady in the front need a lesson in customer service. I almost forgot, The floor was very dirty. I have been coming to K.B. for a while now and it is definitely my favorite nail place in Sacramento. When I moved here in 2007 from Pleasanton, I visited many nail salons trying to find my go-to one. I'd say I have been to about 10 other ones in Sacramento, but didn't like how my nails turned out at any of them so now I only go to K.B. nails. I admit I am pretty picky with my nails, and the person I go to at KB nails knows already how I like them to be and does a great job! Sometimes I like to get little rhinestones on the tip and I like that they remove the glue globs with a paper towl so the jewels don;t look like they are covered in glue. I like KB nails because the prices are very reasonable, the owners and nail artists are very nice, they do a great job on my nails, and it is very close to my house, in the same parking lot as McDonalds and the Car Wash ACROSS from Loehmans plaza, it is in the back left corner! I've been coming here for a while now however I will not be returning back since today, I have had the worst experience here today, walked in greeted by this young girl in a pony tail, sat down asked her if she can do the design I showed her on my phone and she said yes, so I assumed she could do so and I believed her, I got a manicure and a pedicure the young girl was doing my mani older lady was doing my pedi, as half way through the process she starts making complication about whether if she can do the design I asked for so I felt very disappointed at this time, and she said extra $20 just for couple Jewels so I told her that's fine , however she then said she's not able to do it and kept giving such an attitude, oh my god how rude! I didn't make it complicated at all for her but the way she just looked so bothered, then should've gotten me someone different if you can't do the job that I asked you to. "So I wanted to trying a new nail salon and I found this place on yelp. It has good reviews so I decided to go with my sister in law to try it out. At first I wanted a pedicure and a manicure but I couldn't decided because I just recently had a manicure done. So I stood there a for a few mins thn decided that I just wanted a pedicure. For some apparent reason the older lady, I think she's the owner kept complaining to her coworkers that I can't make up my mind and call me crazy. I also overheard her talking down on other customers too. How do I know? Because my sister in law is Vietnamese. Anyway, the person that did my pedicure did a good job. Overall, If you want a well served place, don't come here. The lady owner acts as if she care about her customers but then turn around and talk smack. I have been going to KB Nails for over 2 years now and always have a great experience. Binh, Tina & Kim are the best!!!! Everyone who works there is extremely nice and considerate and on top of that they do a great job. I have pink/white gel nails and have never been disappointed with the way Binh does them. Tina is wonderful with waxing and since the expansion of the shop there is even a private waxing room....awesome!!!! And if you want the best pedicure in town Kim is your girl, she is extremely good and very considerate, 4 weeks after knee replacement surgery I was in getting a pedicure with no pain - the leg massage is the best. They all seem to really care about the service they provide. I will continue to refer friends and family. read more

I simply love this place! The ladies that work there are great! I've been going there for about 2 years now and they never disappoint. Very reasonably priced, good selection of shellac/gel colors and always a nice and friendly attitude. Some of the manicurists barely speak English, but that doesn't get in the way whatsoever. They WILL find a way to understand what it is that you'd like and do their best. Although, I have to say, I wish they had longer business hours. I went on Yelp & found great reviews on KB Nails. BELIEVE ME- I am the most meticulous person around, and I can't express just how great a predicure and acrylic fill I received from Tina and Jeniffer @ KB nails. I do not recommend unless you don't mind a freestyle I wanted to get my nails done and I wanted square with a plain natural color I told the lady before starting she said ok .. it was suppose to be a 40 min manicure I was there for 1hour and 40 mins it seemed off at first but I just thought she was just taking her time .. It's best to come in first thing in the morning when they open, if you don't (even if you make an appointment) you'll most likely wait a while. Although, the quality is middle of the road. I've been coming here for at least a year, and have had adequate gel manicures. Although, it'll last you 2 weeks max. I moved, and started researching a few other places and found that KB is the McDonalds of nail shops. I came to KB Nails because my old nail salon wasn't what it used to be. My mom and friends told me to give KB a try, and wow was I not disappointed!! They showed me what it's really like to be taken care of at a nail salon. They are fast, but very precise when it comes to fulfilling your wishes on your nails. I will definitely be coming back here! I've been here on several occasions and the experience is enjoyable. I love the location and that there are a few restaurants and shopping stores nearby. Each time I come, I call to reserver an appointment and there's always a same day slot, and they're always punctual with the appointment times. I've been coming here well over a decade and I keep coming back because the staff are always so friendly and professional! Whatever I need they can do, all my requests are answered and I'm always super happy with my experience. I even moved and tried other places. No other place compares to KB and it's associates. This is my go-to place for nails. Love the convenient location, the Sunday hours and the skill of almost all the techs. My nails almost alway look perfect and the price is fair. Many nail stations mean there isn't much of a wait and when image an appointment it's usually less than three minutes before I'm in a chair. read more

If you are looking for great nail service, go to KB Nails behind McDonalds (the original on Fair Oaks) they know what to do to make your hands look their best.
