We booked our condo in Maui with this company and then the fires happened. They had to cancel our reservation to help house residents which we fully accepted and understood. They were kind in their explanation and in processing the refund. KBM was great to work with and came through with a prompt full refund. It was tough communicating with them, but considering the circumstances of Maui currently that is understandable. The Honua Kai was closed due to the tragic fire during our scheduled visit (08/26/23-09/02/23). The refund check came fast. We were prepared for a fight due to the fact that we were beyond our cancellation window and weren't interested in a credit, but that was needless, they offered us a refund right out of the gate, no argument. KBM Resorts has been wonderful to work with. We have experienced kind and generous customer service from them. Our stay at the Honua Kai fell within the window of the governments discouraged travel proclamation to West Maui. Despite our travel contract making it very clear numerous times that Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and that there funds would be forfeited in unforeseen events like natural disasters. They went above and beyond what was outlined in the agreement and provided us with a travel credit for the full amount of our deposit. We are impressed and extremely appreciative! Do not use this company. They do not care about COVID safety or what's best for the families who are staying at their properties. My family booked a stay with them and since there is STILL a pandemic going on, we do not feel comfortable flying on a plane to Maui when so many states have done away with their COVID restrictions. KBM will not let us change the dates unless we actually have COVID. They only care about the money. So now we have to go or lose our money. I hope we don't get COVID... UPDATE: I am so disappointed with the dealings with KBM. After seeing my original review above, they agreed to move our dates so long as I take the review down. We agreed and told them we would like to move back to our original dates over Thanksgiving. But now they are trying to upcharge us an additional $1,224.64 at a rate of about $470/night for the new dates. Even though our original booking was also over the Thanksgiving holiday and we paid $2,973.73 ($295/night), this time around it's much higher for some reason. To make matters worse, when I did a quick search on VRBO, there were several KBM properties at the Kapalua Villas for our NEW dates over Thanksgiving that were under $300/night - screenshots attached. Find another company to rent from. We were bullied and blackmailed. This is how ... We booked KBM Resorts VIR-508, for an October 2023 stay in Maui on April 11, 2023. Wanting to be respectful of those affected by the tragic fires in Lahaina we called KBM to inquire about our reservation a few weeks after the fire. We were ready to postpone our trip or find another property where we could stay. Yet we were assured the reservation was still in place and that they were basically ready for our arrival several weeks away. On October 10, 2023, two days prior to our reservation date, we received an email from KBM Resorts stating our rental was ready for our arrival. However, much to our dismay we discovered that it indeed was not ready. The first thing we noticed was the Murphy bed was moved from the wall it was on in the pictures we saw. It was placed up against the glass wall/sliding glass door blocking half of the amazing ocean view. We were disappointed. As we began to get settled the list of disappointments grew: - broken full-size fridge/freezer replaced with one 1/2 the size - 2 sets of outlets in the kitchen not working Garbage disposal not working - 2 of the 3 TVs not working - Toilet in 2nd bathroom ran continuously - Glass shower door in 2nd bathroom didn't close - Ceiling tile in a closet hanging down - No beach chairs (stated on website they'd be supplied) - No beach umbrella (stated on website it would be supplied) - filthy floors under the sectional that had to be moved to pull down the Murphy bed. On the website it states: "Your KBM Resorts villa is delivered clean, safe, and sanitized for your enjoyment." We did not experience that. We would have been able to look past most of these disappointing issues had it not been for what happened next. Two of us started to pull down the Murphy bed because there was a sign on the bed stating it was heavy. As we slowly started pulling it down we suddenly felt the WEIGHT OF THE ENTIRE BED (frame and all) FALLING ON US! We were able to catch it and thankfully not get hurt as we pushed the entire bed back up against the glass wall. Needless to say it wasn't bolted to anything. We were able to get a roll-away an hour after calling the after-hours number. The next morning the facility lead came by to check-in. After going over the list of issues in the villa he asked us to write everything down and told us that he'd be back later with a team of people to work on everything-most of all anchoring the murphy bed into a wall. The majority of the issues were taken care of with the exception of the shower door latching/staying shut and the garbage disposal. The lead facility guy told my sister she'd be contacted by someone soon and if she was nice she'd take good care of us. Days went by, and we heard nothing. My sister reached out several times via email to several different people, but to no avail. She was finally contacted by Guest Experience Ambassador Christina two days before our departure. Christina stated that they decided two nights at half price was acceptable compensation. My sister reminded her that the ENTIRE Murphy bed fell toward us and could have seriously injured us. Her response was basically "but it didn't. You're ok." After some back & forth, and shock at the lack of compassion, we verbally agreed to the minimal compensation saying we'd make sure to leave an honest review. Christina replied, "Oh, no. That's part of the contract that you'll need to sign. If you want the compensation you agree to not post any negative reviews on social media." My sister told Christina she doesn't stand for being bullied and blackmailed and ended the call. We thoroughly read reviews prior to making our decision to book this villa and were surprised that we hadn't read any negative reviews. We assume we now know why. Others took the compensation and forewent their opportunity to share an honest review. Needless to say, we forewent the minimum compensation to not let a bully succeed and to share our experience in hopes of it saving someone else the headache and disappointment. read more

We have vacationed in Maui over 30 times. We have booked thru KBM Properties before and they have always taken care of us. Most recently, we needed KBM to rescue us from a Ridge Villa Condo infested with cockroaches we booked thru Sullivan Properties. Sullivan Properties told us they had no other condos we could move into to escape the cockroach infested condo they had rented to us. KBM came to our rescue. They had a Ridge Villa condo just 200 yds. away which was much better than the Sullivan Properties' condo with no cockroaches! We will never book with Sullivan Properties again. At the end of our trip we visited a KBM Properties office to personally thank them for saving our Maui vacation. This will not be forgotten. read more

KBM is the best, and we will never use another vacation rental agency in Maui. Everyone we worked with was extremely responsive and helpful and the prices cannot be beat. Upon arrival our unit exceeded expectations. It was sparkling clean, nicely furnished and well-equipped with necessities to make our stay comfortable. We stayed at Honua Kai, which was a perfect choice for our family. Our kids adored the lazy river and splash pad and we were just a short walk to restaurants, tons of food trucks and the market. There's even a bus stop in front of the grocery store where we were able to take a short trolley ride to whalers village so we could have a mai tai at Monkeypod and not have to drive (even though we did have a rental car, which was included with our package!). Our kids are too young for it, but there's even snorkeling right in front of the resort! My sister and brother in law, who live upcountry, came to have dinner with us one night. We used the grills that are provided for guests and ate dinner al fresco. It was lovely and they commented on how nice the place was and said that it felt like the other resorts on the island, which cost $350+++ per night for a single room with just a bed and a bath... we got two bedrooms, a living area and a kitchen, plus a rental car! Maui is not a cheap place to visit, but KMB offers a great product for a fantastic value! read more

We booked a KBM property through VRBO (this one: https://www.vrbo.com/2284864?adultsCount=4&noDates=true&unitId=2849754) and had a less-than-stellar experience. Most of the problems were not KBM's fault, and they did what they could to help. We left an appropriate negative review on VRBO given our overall bad experience, and KBM responded to my review with absolute lies trying to shift the blame to me. Jacki was helpful over the phone and sincerely apologetic for the fact that they gave us non-functioning door codes and had to send a technician out to fix the situation multiple hours after our arrival. When the technician couldn't get the door open with the supplied codes, it's pretty clear at that point that the fault is not ours. Jacki was on the phone with him and I the entire time and it's clear the codes they supplied did not work. She then apologies that the owners removed features (like a second murphy bed) from the unit the week prior, which we absolutely did not know until the technician finally got us in the door. Jacki didn't know this either until we got inside, but was willing to supply a rollaway for my daughter. At no point were we offered to change units as stated in the response to our VRBO review. They then had to supply our unit with missing amenities (cooler, umbrella, sand toys, etc.) a couple of days later. KBM said that stuff was in the lanai closet, but that closet was locked so we couldn't access it anyways. I sincerely hope Jacki wasn't the person who responded to my VRBO review with the lies, implying our poor experience was our fault, and not the owner's fault, because she seemed sincerely apologetic for the issues we faced during our stay. Having old/crappy/worn out furniture in the unit is not KBM's fault, but the lies are absolutely unacceptable. As someone who travels a lot, my recommendation is to own up to your mistakes and try to make things right where you can. Don't lie and assign blame to your customer. We have used KBM for condo rental in Maui in the past with no issues. However, we were scheduled for a 12nt trip that we literally booked 3 days before the wildfires broke out, and we have been told that they will not refund our money. They have said that we will receive a credit for future travel that will be good for 24 months (talked to Maria on the phone twice last week but have been unable to reach anyone since then), but I have yet to receive anything in writing regarding the credit. I have emailed multiple times and left several voice messages, but I can't get through to anyone and no one will call me back. At first I was very impressed with how KBM dealt with me and my family. They did a great job. In fact, we even canceled our other stay because we wanted to stay with them. As soon as that happen, it went down hill from there. We called them and asked about a place, because we dealt with vacasa and they are even worse than KBM. They told us they would get us a good room and even offered early checkin. So we literally sat around and waited for them. They called us at 1:30 and said your room would be ready soon, go get keys in a few minutes at the vallet. We waited 30 minutes and went to vallet. They had no clue what I was talking about. I told them we were staying in another room, and please let us know when the keys were dropped off. Literally waited an hour. Call the valet nothing was dropped off. Call KBM they have no idea what I'm talking about. About 30 minutes later they called me back and said we tracked down your keys and they were sorry for the confusion. So we didn't get too hard on them for this despite literally killing almost 4 hours waiting for them instead of exploring Hawaii. We finally get into our room, the AC broke. They sent a repair man and he told me it would need to be fixed. This was perfect since both of my 2 kids were taking a nap and we needed someone with an impact drill waking them up. The fox needed to happen in our room so we had to stay and wait for the man to leave. The lady from the management company didn't even say anything about this huge inconvenience. Like it's no big deal. What pissed me off, was the tech said it's happen before and the compressor must of finally broke. Okay, let's wait till it breaks while someone's in there so we can fix it. But that's not all folks. We decided to extend our stay by a day, due to flight reservations. I called there, the lady Beatrice or whatever her name is, couldn't even find our current reservation. I was blown away. She wanted to book me for one day and charge room fees, cleaning etc. I clearly said no. She said, maybe call in the morning and talk to Kevin he would have more insight on our reservation. Like do you run your business out of a cereal box? Where are is your client list. Where is your invoices! Your reservation list! So my wife called the following day, talked to Kelsey and we extended our stay by one day. Thinking that this company extended our electronic bracelet by one day we went on our way. To our surprise, we came back from the beach with the family right before lunch and we were locked out of our room. We contacted the bell desk, they said they had no idea what to tell us. I called KBM and asked to talk to someone in charge immediately and they transferred me over to an answering machine 2 times. I finally called a third time and gave Kelsey my piece of mind Asking her to give me a live person and not a machine. She told me to screw off and hung up the phone. And she literally ignored my phone calls despite me calling for 30 minutes straight. I was pissed. My wife ran down to the bell desk again, bare in mind we have 2 wet infants with us. That need to go down for a nap and they are screaming. It's been almost 2 hours and we can't get into our room. The bell desk says go to the security building across the street 4 buildings away, so my wife holding a 6 month old who is screaming his head off goes to the building and literally forces the security to give us our damn keys to get into our room. She was not taking no for an answer. And them seeing a rampant screaming child they didn't disagree. After we already entered our room, I finally got ahold of KBM. The customer service lady Joyce told me she didn't know what happened. Yet again I had the same exact conversation I had with them about not knowing where the keys are and who's responsibilities it was to hand them out. She told me she would get to the bottom of it, but then I literally never heard from her again! Very disappointed! We didn't want much from you guys! Just communication and for you to do your friking job! Like getting us our keys! Simple! Right? You would think! We will not be staying with this company again! My FAVORITE place to stay on Maui is Honua Kai and KBM Hawaii is my favorite way to get there! We live on Oahu and went over for a "Girls Get-Away / Stay-Cation" and CANNOT wait to go back. KBM Hawaii too great care of us. Great communication while booking, as well as immediate follow up for our questions after we booked! Upon arrival we were greeted and escorted to our immaculate suite. A welcome note with coffee, tea and fresh cookies were a nice touch! They were super great in getting us some help on the day we attempted to use the grill. For some reason 4 ladies could not get it to light and had to call them to help. Immediately someone arrived and presto!! BBQ grill working! I know there are hundreds of places to stay on Maui as well as hundreds of real estate property managers......I will always call on them first because of their world class customer service. Just finished our week long vacation at Honua Kai unit 211 rented through KBM. I will say that we were very happy with every aspect of our rental and the process. The communication and instructions from KBM was very clear and easy to understand. They respond quickly to emails and when our door lock quit working, I called KBM who stayed in close contact with me and made sure my door lock was repaired quickly. The location of 211 was perfect for us, I especially liked that we could sit on our balcony every evening and listen to the live music at Duke's Restaurant. We hope to be back again sometime. What an absolute headache this company has been since the governor announced only necessary travel to the islands. AND Maui is now on 21 day lockdown. Does KBM care? No. They still expect us to come and stay in our room putting locals and ourselves in harm's way. I wasn't even asking for a refund. I just wanted to reschedule when the island would be fully open and they refused to even reschedule us. We had a group of 20 coming to stay in Maui with us to celebrate our 10 years of marriage and ALL have been able to reschedule/refund their trips but not us. Thanks to KBM! The room was amazing --- clean, lots of space, and an amazing view. That must have been why we were called while we were having dinner one night to ask if they could show our rental to some potential buyers. We had just arrived the night before and hadn't put our personal items into secure areas, so they were nice enough to cancel the viewing appointment, but it's not what you'd like to be getting surprise phone calls about while on vacation. I also must not have read the website well enough; I assumed that you could use the beach there. You can't; it's covered in cement or coral or something, and it's like that for quite a ways in both directions. If you walk about a quarter mile down the coast, there's a place to go to the beach, but only if you don't mind getting sandblasted the entire time --- this is a very windy area, and while I enjoy a good microdermabrasion treatment as much as the next girl my kids and my corneas were not as appreciative. We spent most of our time here driving around, looking for a good place to go the beach. The pool is between the two towers of the the complex, so it funnels the wind even more, making a pool visit not much fun. This is a great complex for adults looking for a room with a view and nothing to do. read more

Within five minutes of entering Kapalua Bay Villa 12B3, we called KBM and said that this place was filthy and a disgrace, and that we didn't want to stay here, but we were stuck staying in 12B3 for 30 days. Not only is the condo filthy, but it has not been maintained for a long time. The couch was so stained and dirty, we placed towels down before sitting on it. It is broken down and uncomfortable to sit on as was the other furniture in the unit. The furniture and decor looked like it was purchased at a swap meet. The rustic furniture was totally inappropriate and was impossible to clean. We actually had to vacuum the dining table to get the food and debris out of the cracks, the same with the coffee table. At least they should have glass tops to make cleaning possible. I had to ask KBM for beach chairs and a cooler. The cooler they provided was way too large, so I bought one of our own. I also asked for windex because the windows and screens were filthy. The screens and window coverings (blinds, drapes) are rotting with holes and black mold evident everywhere and need to be replaced. I asked for some ant traps and was provided with a bottle of something which was not effective. The unit also had cockroaches and other bugs. There was one chaise lounge on the lanai, and no other comfortable chairs to sit on to relax or read. The lanai had piles of sand swept into the corners rather than cleaned up. The refrigerator was rusting out as was the washing machine. There were large cracks running down the walls. KBM asked what they could do to rectify the unit, but this unit needs a complete upgrade of furniture and appliances, new screens and window coverings. It is actually an unhealthy unit and should not be rented to anyone read more

When my Husband was booked last minute to fly out to Maui, I immediately jumped on the opportunity to extend his trip into a Family vacation. KBM was incredibly helpful in narrowing down choices that fit our needs and budget, and magically found us a condo that was only two units away from where my Husband had been staying for work. As a Family, we tend to only book Vacation Rentals instead of Hotels now, and I found KBM to be one of the most informative and proactive in communicating what to expect, where to find what I needed, and whom to contact if I had any questions. I even received a phone call shortly after I landed to notify me our unit was available for early check in! The property itself was immaculate, spacious, and was fully equipped with everything you need...it was truly the perfect spot for our Family. The rental unit was clearly owned by a Family as well, and it was awesome to have all the toys and floats we needed to have a great time swimming in the Bay and pools on site. I was a little nervous at first booking for 2 reasons: Covid situation and their newer Kanapalli shores listing. However I booked with them based on reviews and flexibility to cancel due to Covid. We stayed at their kanapali location for 14 days and been very happy. First expectation was clear that I had to pay for parking and that's it. The room has tons of amenities that they included that would be extra at most places. Dishwasher and washing machine detergent, brand new baby high chair, vacuum etc. They do not charge extra to swap out sheets and towels. You have to pay extra for a full cleaning if needed. I had issue with A/c one day and they were quick to get hotel engaged to come out and check it out. They were always prompt with emails or phone calls and are open 7 days a week. Beds were very comfortable and ocean views from balcony and master bedroom will be missed. Great job KBM team ! We would definitely return again ! read more

We are currently staying at Honua Kai in Kaanapali through KBM rentals and it has not been a pleasant stay to say the least. We rented room 729 Konea building, a 3 bedroom unit with ocean views throughout. Now I'll start by saying, KBM has been great to work with from booking to our arrival. They send out almost weekly then daily reminders leading up to your departure date. We also got a free car rental with our week stay and there's not one staff member who did not provide excellent service and communication. Without the review of the unit, I could easily rate KBM 4 stars for their follow through and commitment to excellence. And the unit itself, in appearance is breathtaking. Pictures does not do it justice. Sooo...with that said, I don't know if it's because of the unit we are staying in or due to renting through KBM but it's been a disaster. And I debated whether this review reflects KBM or Honua Kai so since I didn't book through the resort, I think it is fair to post directly on KBM's page. Prior to our arrival, KBM let me know that our dishwasher in the unit is not working and they will send maintenance to replace an entirely new one first thing in the morning at 930a, which worked for us since we are on California time and so it wouldn't feel that early. Maintenance didn't show up until after noon. In addition to the dishwasher not working, our dryer had issues, the smaller oven did not work, and our microwave was also inoperative, which apparently, they knew about since there is a temporary replacement on the counter. This resort was a bit of a splurge for my family and so call me crazy, but if one of the selling points to stay at this condo is the gorgeous, stellar Viking kitchen appliances then I expect them to be in working condition. Housekeeping also didn't do the best job. There were chunks of dust balls left on the carpet. And there weren't any children's pool/beach toys as mentioned on the KBM page. Also, if you're planning on cooking, be prepared not only for the faulty kitchen appliances but also limited cookware. Now at this point, I was trying to keep things light and chipper since I felt very responsible for my family's vacation success since I did the booking. So I tried to play it off as all normal wear and tear. The next day, however, TMI disclaimer, after my 5 year old son went potty, the toilet overflowed!!! Yes, overflowed! Luckily, my uncle was able to stop the overflow, otherwise it could have spread out to the hallways. The thought of it just makes me cringe with disgust. Ok, here's where KBM redeemed themselves...through excellent customer service and communication. Krisy sent us personnel to de-sanitize the restroom, remove the dirty towels and give us a new set, she also sent housekeeping back up to vacuum the carpet and mop the floors, a brand new, unopened pool toy set and a new pot since we only had a small pot and extra large pot with nothing in between. And she scheduled for replacement on the washer and dryer the following day. Lastly, we were left a small gift card to Duke's restaurant for our troubles. I'm appreciative but I don't know if $150 completely makes up for the fiasco we've had to overcome during this stay. Oh, one more note to mention on the unit, every time you turn on the fan in the living room, it trips the circuit breaker so the TV turns off so you'll have to switch it back through the power box. And the light switches do not work in the rooms so you'll have to just manually turn the knobs. Not a biggie but when you're paying nearly 1K a night after tax...you expect things to be functional. So I'll end it with this, avoid unit 729. But I think KBM management is doing a fine job with the inventory they are given. read more

My wife worked hard to coordinate a special vacation for 20 family members. Maria T from KBM Maui was not forthcoming about the construction we endured during our trip. We never had the option to change our reservation because she chose not to tell us about it. As a disabled person, I spent alot of time in the room watching TV. KBM Hawaii is dishonest, they steal your personal belongings and they promise the moon but deliver cow pies. Would strongly caution all home owners to avoid this company. My wife and I used this company for two months and they had abysmal cleaning services and took our luxury personal linen twice without any reimbursement. In addition, they promised to care for condo issues which is their job as a property management company and because we live 2,000 miles away; however, they never took care of the problems so we had to hire another third party to fix these issues that they could have done. Our visit to Maui was perfect, thanks to KBM Hawaii. Our room was just as pictured; had everything we could need and more! The view from HK 504 was breathtaking! Check-in and check-out was effortless. The communication was great during our stay. They even delivered a replacement coffee pot within a couple hours of requesting one. Most importantly, when our flight home was delayed, they allowed for a late-check out. This was necessary as we were traveling with 4 small children. They took care of us; it was much appreciated! They were super great at communicating with me throughout the trip and even sent me emails and called me a few days prior to our trip to go over everything! Our unit in Honua Kai was exactly as pictured... super clean with everything we would possibly need provided inside the unit. They even left us some macadamia nut chocolate as a welcome gift! A few times during our stay we had to contact them to fix the air conditioner or come save one of our guests when he accidentally locked ourselves out and they were super responsive and helped solve our problems super fast. I would 100% recommend KBM to my friends and would definitely book with them again. Working with them was a 5 star experience! Also the free rental car deal is amazing!!! read more

Townhome T-14 was absolutely perfect for our Christmas getaway in Park City! The unit had four bedrooms and four bathrooms and was perfect for our family of 5. The hill right outside the back patio is perfect for sled rides as well! Everything was extremely clean, ample amount of linens, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and supplies and the beds were very comfortable. The only feedback I would have is to invest in softer sheets and re-label the thermostat that heats up the master and bunk rooms to indicate such. The location was perfect and loved the ski room downstairs with all of the storage space! We could've packed a lot of us clothes since it comes with a washer and dryer as well!! We absolutely look forward to staying here again! We got very lucky and possibly because we booked last minute but got an amazing rate on this unit!! A great location of the property when it comes to beach access and walk down to restaurants. The entrance to the resort building is pleasing with valet parking available. Now comes the interesting review of access to the 6th floor condo with trash right outside of the elevator and hallway carpets dark and dirty. Condo was clean and equipped well but as we retired to sleep, noted that mattresses are old and worn with deep sinking pockets that made our sleep worst with lower back aches as we got up. It was a regular feature to be waking up with discomfort in the lower back for all family members. Showers appeared clean but noted grouting to be dark in many places as if it was not maintained and mold deposits in shower space and rusted ceilings in bathroom. Kitchen utensils, specially cups were heavily stained and had to buy our own. Wish the owner/management pays attention to the above provided feedback. Great stay at 236 HKH! The condo was amazing and we even got a free car rental during our 2 week stay in mid November. I would absolutely book with KBM again as they were responsive to the requests and helped to fix some issues with a clogged toilet that arose during our stay. The condo was beautiful and clean and had all the amenities for a family of four. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards as well as the wraparound lanai and pools at the resort. I wish we could have stayed longer! read more

What a great family owned and operated company. The staff were so nice and easy to deal with. I was nervous booking because there were mixed reviews, but after my trip, I'm now confused as to why. They were very helpful and attentive from start to finish. Even when we got there and had internet and tv issues, someone was out the same day and fixed it. Very easy to work with and I would most definitely book a trip through this company again. I will say that unit #247 in Honua Kai Resort in Maui needs its dryer fixed. Our washer worked fine so I just hung the clothes to dry because the dryer just dry anything (my moms dryer in #323 worked well.) Wasn't a big deal to me at all really. I do wish housekeeping came by daily to help sweep up sand, I vacuumed and swept but it's nice when someone else comes in and does it for you. Beautiful views of pool and ocean from all interior rooms at Honua Kai! This resort is top notch and I'm very picky and like things clean, and prim and proper. Beautiful grounds, great restaurant on property (Dukes.) Units exactly as pictured and and described. Thank you for an easy trip!!! read more

My family and I have used KBM Hawaii two times in the past and their service is fantastic. We will continue to use them and their business the next time we travel to Maui. We will never book with this company again! They are the horrible. As several others have posted on here, my wife and I had plans to go to Maui the last week of Aug 2023. As the stories came in about the wildfires, we started to monitor the situation. After seeing the destruction the wild fires caused, we knew that we had to for go the trip. United graciously refunded our air fare in full. When I called KBM, they still said we are confirmed for the days booked and it would be ok to come to Maui. Really! Really! I told them no, we are going to conceal the trip and would like a refund. Maria said they could only offer a 24 month credit to use only on Maui. I told Maria that I may not be alive in 24 months and that all the other hotels and even the air lines were giving full refunds! She stated that where this KBM resort was located was not near the fires. I mapped it out and told her that it was 7 plus or minus miles from where they were using search and rescue dogs to recover bodies. Maria said that she would have to call her boss to see if they would give a full refund and would call me back. That was on THursday and I have not heard from them. I also filed a complainant with the BBB. If you use VRBO, the site I booked this on, stay away from any KBM Resorts. read more

Couldn't ask for better hospitality and accommodating service. Everyone is freaking out right now because of Coronavirus and the last thing we need is a hassle with our canceled or postponed trips. That is why I am so beyond grateful that I booked with KBM. They immediately assisted with our change of plans to meet our needs without one single bit of hassle. The last time we stayed there we were welcomed chocolates and a lovely "tour" upon arrival. Everything was clean and comfortable, that is why we rebooked with them this time, without knowing how they'd handle this unprecedented change our world is experiencing.
