They have a little waiting room, which was clean and comfortable, with a TV and a little heater/fireplace for the winter. I came in to have an alarm installed with sensors. I've been here years before with my old car and they did great work then too, so I felt confident coming back. The alarms they use are high quality and work very well. The installation itself was very professionally done, and the alarm works exactly as I wanted, it's very sensitive and reliable, which gives me great Peace of Mind, especially with all the break ins that have been happening in the neighborhood recently. The guy who worked on our car was friendly and the receptionist was friendly as well. They did have to special order a part because the tilt sensor module didn't fit our car, so we had to wait an extra 1-2 weeks. Once the part came in, he installed it very quickly. Their prices are very fair, we called a couple of other shops and they were definitely more expensive compared to Bakersfield car and audio. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

After they completed the initial repair, they told us the car was ready. However, during their own test drive, significant engine damage occurred, and the vehicle became completely inoperable. Instead of taking responsibility for what happened while the car was in their care, the shop downplayed their role and focused on how much time and money they claimed to have invested in the vehicle. We paid them $1,500 to begin service, but the result of their work left us without a working car and facing an even larger repair bill. At no point before the test drive did they warn us of the possibility of engine damage, and their diagnostics prior to beginning the repair failed to flag the very issues they later used to excuse themselves from any responsibility. I do not know if these people are cosplaying as mechanics or what, but their entire operation is a joke. A functioning car became inoperable in the hands of so-called professionals. The salvage car business might suit them better. At least there, destroying cars is part of the process. I strongly advised others to believe the one-star reviews before trusting this place with their car. What happened to us was not just careless, it was unacceptable. This shop has no business working on anyone's vehicle. German Dreams??? More like GERMAN NIGHTMARES!

I'm a long time customer of Bob's Muffler and have given them a positive review in the past…read more They've done an entire exhaust system on my 2010 Ford F150 Raptor and put a mild/medium muffler on my wife's Lexus GX460. Also lots of miscellaneous exhaust work in between. This last Monday I once again took a new to me vehicle (2020 Tacoma V6) in for a little less restrictive muffler. After some discussion, I (we) decided on an 18" DT free flow muffler, intended to result in a little rumble and less back pressure. Unfortunately, it was a bit too loud and had some minor drone on the highway. I went back on Thursday asking to go to the 24" version of the same muffler. My intent was to ask Kim (Manager) to slide me a bit on price, understanding the primary responsibility was mine. She would not hear of it. She swapped the mufflers out, charging me a small labor fee. I actually asked her to take more money. She declined, saying she wanted me happy, period. THIS is the reason good businesses survive and thrive. I have sent and will continue to refer friends to Bob's as/ where possible for the simple reason that they are the best and they completely own the entire process. I'm hopeful this review helps you to become a Bob's customer too!
