KCD Electric is awesome! If I could only give them 10 stars. If you want to talk about good old customer service, reliability, fast response, and craftsmanship, Rick is the man. Long story short, my solar inverter went out, I called four to five other solar and electric companies. 4-6 weeks out, just to come do an initial troubleshoot, not even fix it. (Solar down time = Money). I got a hold of Rick, from KCD, and I'm very glad I did because he got back to me and he gave me his direct phone number. I called the number and I was amazed that I got to talk to Rick, a real person and NOT a robot or a call center or any shenanigans like that. Rick advised he could stop by in two days. I mean 2-days! Not 4 weeks, not 6 weeks, but in 2-days! Rick showed up, completed the troubleshooting and made the necessary calls to order me a new one. Advised me a new replacement inverter would be in within 8 to 10 days. Less then a week, I receive a call from Rick advising inverter would be in the next day and he wanted to setup an install date. Of course ASAP and Rick was able to schedule me in within a week. Seriously, A++ customer service. Rick showed up and in about a half-hour later, my solar was up and running. Talk about top notch work and customer focus, KCD Electric is it. Rick and KCD Electric represents everything about what a true company/business is. You can't find (or its very hard to find) businesses like this anymore nowadays. Just good old fashion top notch customer service, awesome communication, and quality work. If I'd gone with the other companies, I'd still be waiting... just for the initial troubleshooting! Rick and KCD Electric is my go to now for all my electric and future solar. Highly higly recommend! Shane of KCD Electric came to our home to install a BMW wall charger. Since he is not very familiar with a BMW wall charger and the charger was not properly labeled, he went out of his way to call BMW tech service, stayed on the phone on hold for 10 minutes and was on call talking to the BMW Tech agent for another 20 minutes which really did not solve the issue. So, Shane looked at all of the diagrams again took his time ensuring all connections and wiring are correctly installed, he went through the manual two more times and patiently traced all of the installed wires again. He treated my wall charger as if it is his own. He is a thinking man, very knowledgeable, and a great trouble-shooter. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience. We needed an electrician to do some work to extend a conduit and wiring in order for us to use our new hot tub at a higher voltage than we had available.
