Finally!! I've found my go to Chinese spot. I've tried several in the area and they were all a flop - not here.    We ordered carryout, and it took a little while, but it was worth it. Everything was piping burn your tongue hot. The prices were reasonable for the portion, and we received good service. This was only my first time here, so I can't speak to consistency yet, but I'll be back for sure!   My personal faves were the steamed dumplings, lo mein, and combination fried rice.

OpenRice for the win! I love this place been coming to it since 2014 when I first moved up here and hasn't let me down yet. Called in my order and told the employee what I wanted. He said ok gave me the price and a time frame. As soon as I hung up, I noticed that he didn't ask for my name, so I called back, and he said he didn't need it I could just come in and ask for my order. I drove over and asked for my order an presto her you go. Service is quick and I've never had an issue so far. Combo Fried rice 8 outa 10 always good!

Feel good food!! Amazing food and great people working. Good prices for the portions given. My go to place for asian food!

WAY BETTER THAN PF CHANGS (and much cheaper too) Probably should have taken a picture before I dug in so apologies but the food is amazing! I got the steamed dumplings, Mongolian beef, and general Tso's chicken and the flavor on each bite of them was on point. The lady at the front desk is very nice as well + the restaurant is very clean. I would definitely recommend you pop in for a quick bite if you're around the area.

    Chicken pad Thai

I ordered a chicken pad Thai and it was 95% dry noodles with a wet rag smell/flavor. I don't know how they cook their chicken but it's like chewy fried chicken. I'm no expert but I've never had a chicken pad Thai that was loaded with tofu and even egg? I couldn't go back due to my long drive so I still tried it but it was just a very disappointing experience for $13.

Quick and amazingly delicious. Food serving size was excellent and priced appropriately. Don't pass this place up!

First time to try Open Rice and ithe food is really good. I ordered Szechuan beef and requested it to be made extra spicy. Unfortunately it was not as spicy as I would like but it was still good and the vegetables were crisp and had good flavor. I was hoping that the Szechuan would have had whole red peppers to make it spicier but other then that it was good. My daughter had the Sesame seed chicken which was really good and full of flavor. We also ordered spring rolls and crab rangoons which were pretty good. My son ordered Mongolia beef and it was extremely good and I would like to try it on our next visit. My daughter in law ordered the General Tso and it was very sweet and had great flavor also. We all ordered steamed dumplings and fried which were very good. Overall the experience was great and the employees were very nice. The restaurant was not allowing dine in due to Covid but the restaurant was very clean. We all plan on a return to the restaurant again soon. Thank you for such great food.

Do not use their delivery. Since using door dash their delivery service has declined miserably.

As we were waiting, we noticed that 4-5 tables were done eating and paid their bills. All got up and left, the staff quickly cleaned the tables. The cleaned tables were empty for another 15 minutes. The lady that took our names down took a while to call the next customers. Seems like we were waiting just to wait...she sat one party down and waited another 10 minute to sit the next group... anyways, after we waited for a good 40 minutes, we were finally called to be seated. Sat down and was immediately served with water and took our order down. Time for the food review: Chicken popcorn - nice crisp and texture, but lacking flavor. Felt like it needed a dipping sauce. Pork lard rice - disappointing, bland Pork intestine with green mustard - this dish was okay.. Crispy garlic salted fish - fish was nicely fried and flavor was good. Probably the best dish so far Crispy pork chop - this is the reason why we came here.. we wanted to find a dish like May Ice cream. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The pork chop was extremely salted. From the skin to the pork itself. Walnut shrimp - this dish was foul. Who puts sprinkles on the side?! Tasted like I was eating an ice cream shop. The shrimp was also dry. Overall, not worth going and waiting. Food was lacking.

Came during the soft opening in September 2025 with excited expectations based on what we've heard, hoping to find a new go to Taiwanese spot. Unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for. I admit this was the soft opening and things may improve, and for their sake I hope they do. Biggest issues for us were lack of flavor in the meat and multiple proteins being overcooked. The sauces they used had the flavor but it seems like the meat just wasn't given the time to marinate because the meat itself was bland. That coupled with proteins being a bit dry from being overcooked and you don't have a good combo. If they can tweak their prep process to let the meat marinate then it would solve most of the problems though. The best dish was the fried pork chop rice by far. A bit on the sweeter side so it just depends on how you like it. The bok choy it came with was basically raw though had more crunch than the pork chop. Service was also a mixed bag. The server was super nice and helped give us recs but it just seemed like they were still getting the hang of working in a restaurant. A glass of water got some food in it so the server took it away but they never brought us a new one. Again, soft opening so I give that some grace, but food has to be more on point for a new restaurant to make it. So all in all, there are definitely some kinks to work through for them. Normally I wouldn't write a review for soft opening but given that there are old reviews here plus food quality missed the mark more than I think it should've, I think people on Yelp should get a heads up.

First, many of the dishes lacked the authenticity. The hot and sour soup wasn't sour at all and was overwhelmed by the flavor of sesame oil. The black bean noodles tasted like instant noodles you could make at home, and we ended up adding black vinegar ourselves just to bring some acidity and balance to the dish. The sweet chili shrimp also didn't taste fresh. At the end of our meal, we literally said "this tasted like Chinese buffet food." The service and dining environment made the experience even worse. Throughout our meal, we constantly heard dishes being slammed around from servers cleaning tables. At one point, something was dropped so hard that dishes shattered across the floor. A trash cart was parked right next to our booth while we were eating, and the staff even started mopping the floor directly in front of us during the lunch rush. I understand that restaurants often hire seasonal staff during the summer, but proper training is still important. The way the dishes were handled throughout our meal was loud, chaotic, and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy our dining experience. It's unfortunate because our first experience of this restaurant was great, but this visit fell well short of our expectations.
