I've been wanting to give this place a try and decided to finally do it. Everything looks to be very clean and new. The kebabs are in a cooler at the front so you can see what they look like - I always like that. They took my order relatively quickly and began working on it right away. I ordered a gyro plate with brown rice and eggplant, a beef kobida kebab plate with brown rice and spinach, and the chicken kobida. FYI-kobida means ground, I couldn't find descriptions anywhere (owners, might be something you can add to help out). They don't cook the meat until you order, so they came out fresh off the grill. The meats were delicious! They were perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauces made them even better. The sides are made ahead and we're good. The brown rice and spinach were as expected. The eggplant was a pleasant surprise! I've only had eggplant fried, so however they made it was excellent, I'd recommend that. I ordered the hummus as a side, which was good, but for $3.99, I was expecting more. It was about a 5-6oz serving with one pita bread, one extra pita would've been more in line with the price I feel. Love this place so much! I'm a huge falafel fan, discovering it as an adult. This place makes awesome wraps. The humus seems to change and is always delicious. (Only issue is they only give you one pita per order and each additional pita is a couple bucks. I can't figure out why you can't buy a pack of 3-4 pitas as part of a hummus package). The portion sizes are huge so no need to order double meat unless you want leftovers. This is mostly a takeout place. Since this location is very convenient and I've been trying to support small business, I've now been to this location three times in the last month. I've tried beef kabob, chicken kabob and gyro kebab. I had the gyro first and though it was very tasty, the sauces were overwhelming. The gyro meat was in chunks rather than the usual gyro slices off, but not a big deal. So next I tried chicken kebab and asked for sauce on the side. Unfortunately chicken was very dry. Last week I tried the beef (supposedly rib eye) and that too was very dry. In all instances I had the brown rice and salad which were okay. If I go back, I plan to try asking them not to overcook the meat and see if that has any impact. Otherwise, I will stick with gyro. read more

There are halal options and ways to make the meals non dairy, vegetarian, vegan, etc. The employees are friendly every time I come in and get my order right every time even when I get extra this and none of that etc. The white sauce really sets the meal off but it's flavorful enough without it that I still eat here regularly even though I've cut dairy out of my diet. The salad is mixed greens with tomatoes, and an olive. The white rice is lightly seasoned with white, green, and red hot sauce provided. The beef kebab had fatty pieces which I wasn't a fan of but the meaty pieces and the chicken kebab were moist and flavorful. 2nd visit I tried the chicken and beef kobideh plate and it was tasty as well. Love this place! Can't say enough good things. I used to frequent the location on MacArthur, but this location opened closer to home. The concept is simple, pick your meat (or vegetarian option) then make it a wrap or a plate (plate comes with two sides). I love both options. The wraps are cheaper ($7-$8) Bc you don't get the sides, but still plenty of food. The plate with the sides ($10ish) comes with a lot of food. I typically do a gyro or chicken wrap if I'm feeling a wrap or when I do plates I switch between chicken, steak and kobida. They have amazing sauces for all of their sides/meats. I love love love the eggplant side! Great bang for your buck. Another plus is the owners/family that owns it is super friendly.
