This food is fantastic. And the person at the cash is polite and helpful in a direct inverse correlation to the deliciousness of the food. Get my point? I don't know if she is a relative but she acts like many spoiled children forced to work at their parents restaurant who don't know how good they have it. Putting that aside, the food is good enough that I would likely allow them to punch me in the face to get more. This man needs to open up a full dine-in spot. DELICIOUS. We were driving back home to Missouri and I saw someone recommend this place online. Our favorite food is middle eastern/Mediterranean style food, so we drove from Houston to Dallas to check it out. SO WORTH IT. We ordered for Salmon and Chicken Kebab plates. I must say that it was a little disappointing in taste despite the numerous high reviews. The kebabs were hard and the salmon especially felt a little raw. The rice , eggplant and chickpeas were good but when it comes to Mediterranean it's always the meat that should speak more. This little place used to be decent. Last week when we got our dinner, they had so much spice (and I literally told them NO SPICE) that when we got home we couldn't eat it. Stopped in on the way home from the airport and immediately as you enter, the smell is amazing. I ordered the lamb kebab plate with white rice and chickpeas and a side of hummus/pita and falafel. The plate was delicious, although given how much I spent, there definitely could have been more meat but what I did have was cooked great! My personal favorite was the falafel. The perfect blend of spices and flavor gave it a more balanced taste and the consistency was not too gritty nor soft like I've had at other places. The food was average. I was expecting better quality for afghani food. It's kind of overpriced.

As a heads up the inside is pretty small and there's not much seating room. It's also linked to a gas station so it can be kinda hard to miss if you're driving too fast. We both got the chicken kabab meal. It comes with two sides. I got white rice and salad as my side. For some reason this time it just didn't taste the best. I felt like the rice was over cooked and I wish I there was more salad. I also feel like for paying $10 there could be some extra meat. And you can't even get a free cup of water you have to buy a water bottle! I just feel like the taste was kinda off that day. I think next time I might try there gyro wraps.
